thoughs about tsugidoka gang?

Well, it’s pretty impressive that they get to become the main characters of Lapistoria’s story mode even though they’ve only just been introduced in the game before. *applauds* They even seem to get a lot more fanart and love here compared to characters that have been around for a long time.

Well, I think they’re all cute (I mean, PON agrees with me that Retsu is cute xp) and cool in their own way with their powers and equal gender ratio. 

I must admit though, I definitely find Retsu the most uninteresting out of the quartet. He’s not very different from the typical shounen protagonist to me, looks and personality wise. At least he’s got orange hair and a cute little bird (Now he reminds me of Hinata. I don’t really know much about Haikyuu but I’ve learned a bit from someone I used to talk to. Weren’t crows or some other bird a symbol in that series? Now I’m getting off track.) His grandma looking like a child was quite surprising though. Nevertheless, it’s another sign of how Pop’n Music is sort of integrating anime stuff into the series. 

I find the other 3 more interesting! For starters, Fuga and I have a lot of common. We’re both not good with people and I like wearing scarves and we both love cats and we seem cold to others but in reality we’re just as silly as everyone else. I think Fuga having vocal-less themes fits him right on as well.

 Hiumi is quite cool (no pun intended >.>) and graceful. Plus I love ice powers. She actually really reminds me of Mitsuru from Persona 3 when I think about it! I find Hiumi’s relationship with Pastel-kun to be cute as well. Also, while I do think Miyu is too obsessive for her (seriously, let Hiumi talk to her friends), I still find it heartwarming that Hiumi had a lonely childhood and finally found someone that loved her for who she is.  

and then there’s the cutest (and has the best themes), Rinka! As for Rinka though, I can’t really find a way to describe her personality. There’s not really any defining characteristics to me I can identify like how I can with Fuga and Hiumi and Retsu. Well, even if her personality doesn’t stand out to me, I do find her design and powers the most visually appealing (her miss animation in Lapistoria is so cute, I need that fan.) She is the one I would most likely choose from the four as my character if I played a newer Pop’n in the arcade. I would also gladly cosplay as her! Rinka is also my favorite part in MZD’s fever animation.  Also (how many also’s have I typed?), I never get tired of listening to Realize Maze and well, Rinka being the character for it has increased my aesthetic bias for her.

I really can’t decide on my favorite of the latter three :

How about Fuga x Retsu?

7! I find the fanart of it super cute (at least, not the pervy ones.) Plus they already have quite a bit of chemistry so it’s pretty fitting.  I think I have the most bias for this out of all the possible Tsugidoka ships. (I think the amount of fanart helped that.)
