Shadow Dragon Rook not knowing where Dumat Plaza is is another example of how VG doesn’t know how to customize itself to the player. Now, I’ve lived in a big city and yes, I couldn’t tell you where most things were, but in a video game with a customizable player character, it should allow for these bits of specialized knowledge to shine through. It’s literally just changing “Harding will know where the plaza is, let’s grab her and head over” and “Harding has my gear, let’s grab her and head over” and like yeah, that’s adding extra lines, but you’re fucking BioWare, pay your fucking voice actors and put your damn back into it, fuck’s sake.
