pov a character you regularly play has the most expensive ultimate in the game and they create a character who can break your ult with the ability that comes free with the character. your free ability does -10 hp every few seconds and is very easy to avoid. this new guy can just nuke you. with the free ability. every other characters ult that does damage takes a couple of hits to kill and this dude oneshots you. and they decided to nerf fucking clove and cypher <- guy who mains clove and cypher

love having a coworker that's also into valo bc i walked up to him last week and asked if he played recently and he launched into the exact rant i was about to go for

#over here kicking rocks with kj and cypher as progressively weaker and weaker sentinels bc they keep trying to buff sage and vyse when #they suck ass. and im over here with TheyThem Reyna Lite™ who they nerfed bc. checks notes. they were too powerful for the same exact #reasons that every ranked duelist fights over reyna. pls nerf reyna i would be kicking my feet and giggling make them play another duelist #add that extra 5-10 seconds back to all of cloves abilities plsplspls <- guy that's dropped 40 in ranked lobbies on nerfed clove #fucking love theythem reyna lite genuinely best character in the game #people hate clove so bad and i get it but like complain about reyna then lol #clove is a menace bc either 1. ppl who didn't get the chance to lock reyna lock them instead so it's Two Reynas #or 2. ppl who usually main characters that aren't duelists are like 'oh cool smokes character' and then lock a semi duelist and #discover that they're a lot better at aiming and playing aggressive than they think bc they've been hiding behind viper wall this whole tim #every controller player who's ever been like 'i wish i could both have helpful util for the team and be aggressive at the same time'#saw clove and blacked out. awesome character. did break the game a little bit so did fucking reyna #i only play reyna in casual modes bc there are always better aimers than me out there but god i play a scary reyna #better aimers than me + someone has to play senti or smokes 😭 ill do it. if you are so fucking complicated #my clove is good but truthfully i have the scariest cypher in the east coast low elo
