god today was so long.... calling everyone's parents before the first day, making an ass load of copies AND THEN THE COPIER BROKE, last minute things like labeling and numbering things

Here's a bummer for the holiday season:

Got company over. It's late'o'clock. Take some quiet non-holiday prepping to check some stuff in my old art box I'm archiving pages of. Literally art since I was 12, I hoarded everything.

Found an old diary of mine, the pages were all taped up to so curious I cut the tape and me and my sister laughed at young!me's sappy edgy tween diary entries while wondering how the school didn't catch I was dyslexic and wondering other than the cringe why did I tape up the pages? The diary has a lock so why the tape.

Turn to the last entry. In pencil I'm bitching something about my Uncle Jim and hating change. Right under it in blue pen is the short entry "Dear diary, uncle Jim is dead."

Mon 19th Feb

Slept fucking terribly last night, was awake all night with awful heartburn. Finally started falling asleep at 5am and my alarm went off at 5.45 🙃

Just about made it through work, then treated myself to new nails 💅 went to a new salon and they did such a good job for literally about half the price of the other place I was going to

Welp, NaNo done for the year, with a total of 59,082 words.

Only 39,621 of that is actual story though. The rest is either outline stuff, or notes, or stuff that got cut/scrapped. And the story itself is only about a third done, so I guess the rest is gonna be my Camp NaNo project for April and July.

Devlog -- entry 17

Days since beginning of development: 33

Day 17 -- Wednesday

Today i slept almost all day. I woke up early, but i didn't sleep much, so i slept during the afternoon instead of coding. I fixed up some things in the last attack i talked about last entry, but nothing else. I basically just slept, but eh, i deserve a break. I have been getting a bit burnt out from coding attacks, so expect lore news and MAYBE a primitive build without endings or anything
