songs from the greatest showman but it's a grimm troupe story. is this anything is this anything. these are genuine animatic ideas that have been rattling around in my head for a while that i May make someday.

a million dreams - baby grimm (the original) has a dream and starts a makeshift circus, the first iteration of the troupe. things go quite well at first and it's well-received by the bugs of whatever land grimm is from (this would be fun to design).

some sort of short interlude for maximum Drama

the other side - the circus is failing and grimm has just experienced a to-be-determined tragedy which has left him detached and jaded. he's approached in a dream by the nightmare's heart, which appears as an even-more-demonic version of the nightmare king and is eventually convinced to make a deal.

million dreams reprise - the first grimmchild is created. a few moments of sweetness, and then, heartbreakingly, the child's spirit dies, making way for the nightmare's heart and resurrection.

the greatest show OR come alive (greatest show is more iconic, but come alive talks about "dreaming" and such) - decades or centuries later, the grimm troupe is at the height of their powers. grimm is a magnificent ringmaster, other members of the troupe are introduced, and the switch in singers in "the greatest show) is illustrated by a flawless resurrection of grimm into the child. good place to toss some character cameos and ocs.

not sure what song for this; maybe set to some dialogue from the movie or to a different source entirely. major conflict occurs, grimm splits from the nightmare's heart to save ghost's grimmchild (as seen in the game).

from now on - the heart is gone, the troupe has been freed from its service, and grimm and those that stayed (notably, brumm/nymm, divine, and the grimmchild themself) are left in dirtmouth to reflect, come to terms with themselves, and pick up the pieces. grollow crumbs could be added other characters from the game show up to grimm and the troupe rebuild; the troupe eventually begins journeying to find the places where they are from ("and we will come back home")

these are very rough crumbs, but i think this would be a very fun project for me someday! feedback and suggestions are welcome (no promises if i'll take them but i like hearing people's ideas), this is just a silly AU because i love grimm and the troupe and i want more of them. also, i need silksong and this is how i'm coping.
