𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 to take up every bit of her sanity. " that exactly what im saying . " she finally stood, inching closer to him as though invading his personal space would somehow get the words through his thick skull . " it was a one time thing? not a big deal im assuming is what you think? if that's so then why don't I go do the same ? just one time of course . " her words dripped with sarcasm, serving him a bitter taste of his own medicine on a silver platter of humiliation. the way his co-workers directed furtive glances at her during holiday parties had made it abundantly clear—rumors spread through his precinct faster than a forest fire in a drought . " deserve ? " a thick scoff followed her words , leaning on the table right next to him. each word was a razor , slicing through the tension between them ." I deserved respect , and clearly you couldn't handle that ... so why should I forgive you ? " more than anything, she longed to walk away, to embody the strength and resolve she so often portrayed. it was a bitter irony—her desire for freedom shackled by the very love that was supposed to set her free .
tomás knew that he was foolish for believing that his wife would have just allowed his one night of stepping out on her go so easily. " so you're saying that you don't believe me now when i tell you that i love you?! all because of one mistake? " you could say that the male is working his skills in trying to make the fem feel guilty for her reaction about the whole cheating situation. " you're right , andrea what i did and the reasoning behind it wasn't right. however i don't enjoy my wife questioning if i've been fucking some other woman still. it was a one time thing and that was it! " at this point the male is raising his voice in annoyance. tomás sits in his chair and watches as his wife downs the drink that he had originally poured for himself. it is pretty obvious that the damage control on his end is failing miserably. " what the fuck is that suppose to mean? " he finds himself putting all of his attention on the woman that stood before him. " are you suggesting that you're going to leave me for my mistake? tell me haven't you made mistakes in your life and been forgiven for them? do i not deserve forgiveness? "

starter for: @tomashernandcz @levibecker & @papaflynn location: at one of the drink tents at the briar ridge summer music fest
"Dame mas gasolina!" As Marco belted out- more like shouted out- the last line of Daddy Yankee's anthem, it was hard to understand how the guys had gotten to this moment. What had started off as a drink or two at Golden Hour, had quickly escalated into pregaming, and before he knew it, Marco, Tomas, and Levi had found a random dude with a portable karaoke machine and had commandeered a corner of one of the drink tents and somehow Marco had ended up with the microphone first. And he was just buzzed enough to have given every everything he had to his little performance. Finishing off with a slightly sloppy bow to his captivated audience (aka Levi and Tomas and the guy whose karaoke machine they held hostage), Marco gave grin. "Alright, who's next?"

starter for: @tomashernandcz location: Golden Hour
In the days after Hurricane Hax wreaked havoc on not only the festival, but Briar Ridge itself, Alara found herself in a particularly nasty mood. After an uncharacteristic display of emotion on her part was not only shut down, but basically laughed at by her ex - even if it was completely justifiable on his part - Alara was in no mood to laugh off a crummy pick up line.
So when a man who was clearly from out of town planted himself on the barstool next to hers and hit her with a particularly pathetic attempt, Alara turned a withering gaze in his direction. “Let me explain exactly why I have no interest in getting a drink with you.” Leaning in closer as if contradicting her own words, she smirked at the man beside her, her gaze raking up and down his frame as if sizing him up. “You look like a soft fuck. All you city boys do. Now go on and complain to your little friends over there about how all the girls in this podunk town are too frigid to let you wet your willy.” Turning back to her drink, Alara downed the remainder of it before daintily placing the empty glass in the man's hand. He was thoroughly dismissed and as he slunk off the stool, a murmured “Bitch!” was thrown over his shoulder before he joined his friends. Meanwhile Alara remained unmoved, a smirk tugging at her lips as she ignored him.

𝙅𝙐𝙇𝙄𝙀𝙏 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿𝙉'𝙏 𝙀𝙓𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙇𝙔 𝙅𝙐𝘿𝙂𝙀 him for not having a phone. if anything, she wishes she wasn't as reliant on using hers so often. it was one of the things she wanted to work on now that she was starting a new life away from the glitz of glamour of being the daughter to two millionaires. materialistic things weren't something she needed anymore. ❝ that would be very kind, thank you.❞ she replies, grateful that he wasn't shooing her off his porch and seemed kind enough to want to help her out. the warmth his home offers is more than welcomed as she slips off her shoes, not wanting to dirty his floors with the muddy flats that came from walking in the rain on her way here. she can't help but think in amusement of how her mother would react on seeing the gucci item in such a state. thankfully, she didn't have to deal with her dramatics anymore now that she was free from her toxicity. the blonde watches attentively as he adds more wood to the fire, taking in every detail. her eyes lingered on his broad shoulders, then his hands as they continued to work. suddenly, she felt her cheeks flush. the men she'd been around throughout her life never had to lift a finger for anything, always having what they wanted handed to them simply because they were wealthy. there was something so attractive—so sexy—about a man who did it all for himself. jesus, get a grip. another thank you is sent his way when he tosses her a blanket, quickly wrapping it around herself as she listens to him speak. ❝ oh, you don't have to do that! ❞ she exclaims, not wanting him to get caught in the wet, chilly weather like she had on her way here. she already felt as if she was bothering him enough as it is. his next words, however, make her pause, a brow raising in amusement at his comment. did she look so out of place? was the fact that she was a heiress written all over her? or maybe he meant that she wasn't a local? either way, she doesn't have much time to think about it as he gestures for her to give him her keys, obviously determined to get her car. juliet pulls them out from the pocket of her jeans reluctantly, the rolls royce logo shining in the light as she hands it to him. their fingers brush as she does so, and she feels a spark that she can't explain at the contact. ❝ i... i know i've said it already but thank you for all your help. i really appreciate it.❞ she brings her hand back to the blanket, pulling it around her more tightly. ❝ i'm juliet, by the way. ❞
tomas hates rainy days. in theory, they were great. an excuse to lounge around the house while the crops drink in the moisture. it’s so quiet and lonely, he ends up hoping for the promise of hard labor and hot sunlight to quiet his mind. as much as he likes to pretend he’s bothered by a disturbance, it’s at least breaking the silence that weighs heavy within the farmhouse walls. especially when the disturbance takes the form of a blonde, tanned bombshell that’s soaked to the bone. she must be freezing. he tries not to dwell on how the material of her shirt clings to her breasts, trying to keep a semblance of decorum. instead, he watches her closely, cold rainy air blowing against his stained flannel. "i don't own a phone." he's slightly embarrassed at the admission. as if she were a woman to impress, instead of a woman simply asking for help. "the least i can do for you is get you a change of clothes." he adds, gesturing inside. he couldn't bear to watch her shiver on his porch for a minute longer. he's racking his brain, trying to remember the last time he cleaned the bathroom. if only he'd known what the rain was to bring him. tomas nods towards the parlor, walking over to the small fire and stoking the flame, feeding some more wood to get the warmth to spread to the far corners of the room. he never used more than he needed to ---- but for her, it was almost too easy to make the exception. standing back up once he's happy with the fire, he grabs a fleece blanket from a corner basket and tosses it her way. "give me your keys, and i can park your car in my yard. unfortunately for you, our town mechanic steve will charge you up the ass, looking the way you do." he laughs before clearing his throat, catching his own cuss words too late. "i mean ---- he'll overcharge you. i'll see what i can do tomorrow morning." he puts his hand out expectantly.

starter for: @tomashernandcz location: the chaos after the hurricane warning was issued
As Val bopped and weaved her way through the crowd dancing along to RAYE's performance, she couldn't help but notice how ominous the weather had turned. The wind had picked up severely, thunder sounded off in the distance, and she could feel rain drops beginning to fall. About halfway through the performance, a woman came on stage and interrupted the singer, reaching out for the microphone to make an announcement. But Val couldn't hear her. Suddenly, her implant beeped twice signaling the batteries were dying and Val was plunged into silence. She glanced around, scanning the crowd for Leyla or someone she knew, but as the crowd began to frantically disperse, she seemed to have lost her group. What the hell was going on? She couldn't help the nerves that began to creep up on her. Clearly, something was going on but without her hearing, Val felt stranded, with no idea of what was happening around her.
In the next moment, the heavens opened up and rain came pouring down, instantly soaking the woman. Val was really beginning to panic. People were running away from the stage, but in the chaos she couldn't stop someone to try to ask what was happening. Breath sawing in and out of her lungs, she tried moving with the flow of the crowd for a while. But when someone jostled her from behind, Val fell to the ground, her center of balance seeming to be askew with her hearing loss. Perfect. Just perfect. As she struggled to her feet, she may or may not have slipped a few times in the mud.

↳ ft. tommy + lou ! in their kitchen one weekday morning
❝ susan higgins ? stuffy old broad down the end of the road with all those ugly little gnomes cluttering up her garden, susan higgins ? ❞ tomas abandons his focus on the plate of eggs and toast he’s already nearly finished in favor of turning a baffled gaze to his wife. he’s sat up straighter in his chair now, intrigued by the anecdote his wife’s chosen to share with him over breakfast. a balled napkin in his fist comes to swipe at his mouth and his hand begins to twist and fold the paper as he pulls it away, eventually working his way around to an articulated thought. it’s more of a question though, really. ❝ and you’re telling me that batty old gnome lady marched all the way down to our stoop just to tell you she’s got some kind of issue with the kids using chalk out on the sidewalk ? in front of our house ? ❞ tommy scoffs. sometimes he does this simply to appease his wife ; he knows she enjoys her fair share of gossip, and he’ll listen every time she’s got a story if only to admire the excited glimmer in her gaze as she readies herself to spill the tea. that’s what it’s called now, right ?
( don’t let him fool you, he lives for the gossip too, loves that lou spends enough time doing the digging that he always feels at least a little in the know. )
this time, though, he’s not only invested for her satisfaction, but because he’s bothered in his own right by this information. ❝ as if it has any impact on her. should march my own ass down there and tell her i got an issue with the flowers she’s planting, how ‘bout that ? every year with the damn sea holly making the whole block smell like a steaming dog pile on the slightest breeze, all in the name of adding color to what is already an eyesore of a garden, but do we say a word ? no. ❞ tommy sighs, leaning back in his seat and looking back toward his wife as his tirade begins to taper off. ❝ so what did you say to her then ? should we both be glad you’re the one that answered the door ? ❞

She's not really expecting to see anyone here. Granted, she's been here a little white and this is the first person she runs into, but ideally, Charlotte would rather have the entire beach to herself. "Probably not too great considering everything going on," she points out with a light shrug. "Decor?" A small smile forms on her face before she shakes her head. "Um, it's okay. The beach is big enough."
Recent events included, it’s potentially unwise to meander through the streets of Nightrest with its extensive and bloody track record. Always hanging in the air, a perpetual weight in the atmosphere. The beach is kinder in some ways, its waves provide the sort of comforting lull that can only be achieved by nature and Tommy eventually drops into the sand. Let it blank his mind some. Eventually the melodic noise is joined by a voice and he angles his features to meet it, discerning a face in the blue-grey morning light. “Great minds,” he comments idly, his voice lacking venom yet full of rasp. Blame the early hour. “It’s fine, feel free to ignore me. I’m just part of the decor.”

❛ what are you thinking about? ❜ (tomas to Keelin)
keelin malraux ✦ memes
"Hm?" Keelin hummed, Tomas' question steadily urging her from her wandering thoughts as a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "I'm thinking about the copious amounts of beer and wings we're about to consume because our shift is up and we are getting outta here." The she wolf was practically ready to toss the chart in her hands as she turned from the other, quipping over her shoulder "i'll meet you out the front in 5 -- don't be late, or else i'm drinking your share."

with yelena taking the lead, the kiss definitely felt different from when she first tried. a good different. she tried to give herself some slack due to it being her first time kissing anyone. but it seemed to be going well now. her stomach wouldn't stop that fluttering feeling and her heart was still pounding. if someone told kate that she and yelena would end up likes this, she'd laughing in their face. despite being annoyed by tomas, now she's begrudgingly thanking him in her mind. cause now she's sitting here kissing the girl she's been crushing on.
when they pulled away, kate's hues fluttered open. feeling almost breathless. cheeks flushed into a bright pink color when yelena seemed very confident in her kissing that all she could do was nod. “scared? not really. maybe a little, but a good kind of scared.” quickly shutting herself up knowing she would begin to ramble again. but yelena's last comment nearly made her stomach flip. “i- yeah, i mean, yeah. yes.”
The kiss was soft, slow, and gentle. And her choice. She hadn't added kissing someone she liked on any of her lists. It hadn't come to mind when thinking about all the things she wanted to do. But this was fun. Yelena broke the kiss, but didn't pull away just yet. The archer looked a lot more relaxed and Yelena smiled. "I am pretty good, yes?" She let her hand fall away from its position at the back of Kate's neck. Her hand brushed her partner's briefly settling in her lap.
"Are you still scared, Kate Bishop?" Yelena's head tilted slightly to the side as she thought about what they had just done. She did not feel regret. Or worse, nothing. She felt warm. "I can show you more if you want."

˖ ݁𖥔 ݁ “MY BOYFRIEND IS GONNA KICK YOUR ASS !”
WINDBREAKER BOYS PROTECTING YOU FROM PERVS. ft. kaji ren, togame jo, umemiya hajime, sakura haruka, hayato suo, toma hiragi, kiryuu mitsuki, & kyotaro sugishita x f!reader
sfw. wc: 2.6K. oh how i’ve been wanting to write this since i finished the manga! but individual warnings are below <3
KAJI REN. referred to as she/her, ‘my girl,’ comments about your outfit
“My boyfriend’s real scary y’know.” Your voice falters a bit as you take another step back, hands coming up defensively. “And he’ll be here any moment.”
It’s a lie that you hope sounds convincing— because Kaji coming to save you today may be nothing more than a desperate wish of yours. How would he even find you in a place like this? You’re not sure exactly how much time has passed since you’ve started running, but you’re certain that by now, you and Kaji should have already been inside the bakery, finally getting to taste test the new fruit pastries you’d been dying to get your hands on.
It started off as just a loud whistle your direction, then led to an uncomfortable conversation about how you’re not interested— and that you have a boyfriend. One thing led to another, and somehow you’ve ended up here, out of breath from speed walking and completely lost— and to top it off, the only person near you is the one you’ve been running so desperately from.
You wish Kaji was here already.
“Oh yeah?” The man in front of you takes a step towards you, lips contorting into a sick grin when he sees your hands trembling. “I don't see him.”
Your lips tremble a bit when he reaches you, towering over you with ease. “Don’t you dare touch me.” You warn, “My boyfriend will beat your a—” you yelp as you’re suddenly pulled to the side, stumbling into someone’s chest as they pull you flush against their front.
The familiar scent of candy melts away your fear in a split second.
“Kaji!”
You can tell when you glance at him just once that he isn’t happy. His forehead is damp with sweat, and he looks disheveled, chest rising up and down with labored breaths— he must have been running around trying to find you this entire time.
Your boyfriend clicks his tongue in annoyance, eyes narrowing as he sizes up the man in front of him. “Problem?”
He rips off his headphones, letting them hang around his neck as the man feigns an apology, unapologetic eyes looming over your figure again seconds later. “But y’know man, you should be keeping a closer eye on your girl,” he points to you with a smug smile, “she was practically begging for me to say something with the way she’s dressed.”
“I wasn’t!” You protest, face burning as you tug on ren’s coat. You thought your outfit was cute— and definitely not anything crazy— you double checked. You really did. But he’s pointing at you now, rambling on about how you wanted this— and you can’t help the way tears start to blur your vision.
“Huh?” Kaji snarls, head tilting to leer at the man. The arm around your waist pulls you tighter against his chest, and you hear the angry thumping of his heart. “What'd you say?”
“Okay, okay, I’m leaving now.” The man chuckles in defeat. “I was just joking. Wasn’t gonna actually do something to your girl.” he waves him off. “You should lighten up—”
He chokes when Kaji grabs a fistful of his shirt, pulling him off balance before knocking him backwards, your pursuer falling roughly onto the floor as he winces in pain. “Then get outta here already.” Kaji glares, a stark contrast to the gentle way his hand is pressing against your lower back to guide you away.
“And don’t let me catch you looking at my girl again.”
TOGAME JO. referred to as she/her, ‘my girl,’ you wear his jacket
Togame gives you a sleepy smile as he watches you from Miniso’s entrance, excitedly sorting through the newly restocked blind boxes. He was resting his back against the wall behind him when he caught his first glimpse of that guy.
He’s wearing a dark hoodie, head turning back to shamelessly stare your direction as he passes by slowly. It’s enough to get togame back up on his feet immediately, quickly heading your way just as the man reaches to get a feel of your thighs—
“How shameless.” Togame laughs, big hand squeezing painfully into his wrist. “Tryna bother my girl?”
In any other situation, Togame would chuckle at your obliviousness, your headphones cancelling out any noise as your eye catches the cinnamoroll section, letting out an excited gasp as you head that way. You really had no idea.
“M-my bad man.” He stutters, ripping his arm from Togame’s grasp. “Just thought she was my sister— was just gonna tap on her back to grab her attention.”
Togame raises an eyebrow at the lazy excuse, leaning down until the man takes a nervous step back, eyes darting to the side to avoid Togame’s glare. “Sister? That’s my Shishitoren jacket she has on, no?”
The man feels heavy beads of sweat roll down his face when Togame’s hands curl into clenched fists. “You mean to tell me your lil sis is from Shishitoren?”
“I said it was my bad,” he repeats, chuckling nervously. “It won’t happen again okay? I won’t bother her again.”
Togame’s hands return to his pockets. “Won’t let you off so easy next time,” his voice is low as he steps aside to let him off, “so you’d better keep your distance.”
UMEMIYA HAJIME. referred to as she/her, ‘your girl’
Umemiya instinctively perks up when he hears two voices behind him, momentarily tuning out your gushing about how cute the little plant kits at barnes and noble are.
“….She's probably taken.”
“Is that her boyfriend behind her? Think she's talking to him.”
There's a chuckle between them. “Doesn’t matter. Go tell her what you just said to me when she's alone.”
“What?” The man laughs. “Ask her if i can grab a handful of that ass?”
More laughter.
Umemiya’s jaw clenches, eyes darting back at you in a flash, and he’s relieved when he sees you’re still gushing about the flower kits— completely oblivious to the two men just beyond this aisle. He’s by your side in an instant, arms wrapping around your waist as he rests his chin on your shoulder.
“Oh.” You turn to press a quick kiss against his temple, smiling when he melts into your touch. “Hi, Haji. Did you find a book?”
“Nothing here.” He sighs dramatically, his embrace around your middle tightening just enough for you to barely notice. “But we can grab some of those flower kits.”
“Really?”
“Of course—”
“Hey.” A familiar voice interrupts him with a stifled laugh, followed by a tap on his shoulder. With the roughness, it’s more like a jab— but he lets that slide.
“Ah— your friend, Haji.” Your voice comes off as a mix between a question and a statement.
“Hey, my friend has something to ask your girl.”
Umemiya’s jaw clenches again, and your eyes widen a bit at the sudden change in the atmosphere. The first friend’s hand is swat off of his shoulder in a split second, Umemiya straightening back up to look back at them.
Their first thought is that he’s a lot taller than they had pictured. A lot more muscular too— and they take note of the way his muscles bulge against the fabric of his shirt. “What, you have business with her?”
They flinch at the tone.
“Ah— sorry.” The second friend stutters. “We got the wrong person.”
SAKURA HARUKA.
“Ah— what happened?” Your hands delicately cup Sakura’s face, ignoring the way his cheeks instantly turn into a deep shade of scarlet. “N-nothing happened!” He weakly swats at your hand, a futile attempt to dissipate the heat spreading through the tips of his ears.
“I was only in the bathroom for five minutes.” You laugh. “How’d you manage to get into a fight so fast?”
He stiffens when your arms come to wrap around his bicep, resuming your ramble about some recipe you wanted to try tonight. Macarons…or something. He doesn’t pay much attention, because he knows whatever you end up making will be good anyway.
“—Are you listening, Sakura?”
The clueless look he gives you confirms it. “So you weren’t. I had a feeling— but it’s okay.” You giggle. “But you didn’t answer my question from earlier either. How’d you get into a fight?”
His eyebrows furrow deeply as he decides whether or not he should tell you. “They were….” he clicks his tongue angrily, “they were talking about you when you walked by.”
You can feel his muscles tense as he deepens his scowl, still trying to fight off the blush plastered across his face. “I just gave ‘em what they deserved.”
HAYATO SUO. referred to as she/her, mentions of how you’re dressed
“What a bitch. She was totally asking for it.”
I know— dressed like a whore.”
Suo stands up from the bench outside your local convenience store, hands dusting off the dirt on his pants. You had asked him to wait outside earlier because ‘you wanted to grab him a super delicious snack that he would most definitely love.’
He had a feeling the two dirty men who entered the store minutes later were bad news, so he was already on high alert before listening in.
“That whore— you mean my girlfriend?” Suo’s voice comes out calm, a stark contrast to the sickening anger and pressure he feels building up inside his chest.
“Huh—oh. Yeah.” One of them chuckles, jutting their thumb at the entrance. “That bitch inside your girl? You let her prance around with her tits hanging out for everyone to see?”
He's calm and composed as they size him up, their chins tilting up to look down at him. “She's pretty, isn't she?” and Suo fails to stifle the chuckle that escapes his lips. “Did she reject you too harshly for your liking?”
One of them balls his fists, muttering profanities under his breath as he leans closer to him. “Now how'd you know that? You should really teach that bitch some fucking manners.” He reaches forward to grab Suo by the collar, eyes blinking in confusion when he finds himself spun behind Suo seconds later, feet struggling to find their balance.
“—The fuck did you do?”
“It’s a bad habit of hers,” Suo continues. “I understand it though, not wanting to be around a pathetic thing like you.” The edges of his lips tug into a faint smile.
The other man’s eyebrows twitch, spitting empty threats as he he throws a wide swing, only to find himself reduced to his knees seconds later. “T-the fuck...” he grumbles to himself— he could have sworn he could practically see his fist connect. What happened?
“You'd be better off looking for someone to protect yourself the way I do for her.” His words are mocking as he heads towards the store’s entrance. “And— it'd be really unfortunate if i see something like this happen again.”
TOMA HIRAGI.
“H-Hiragi? What are you doing?”
Your lips are pressed in a nervous line as your hands come to shyly rest on his chest, sucking in a breath when his arms come to roughly cage you against the train’s walls, strong body towering just over yours.
“Do you…need more space?” You whisper, heart racing at the proximity. You can smell his cologne so well at this distance.
Hiragi simply shakes his head, distracted gaze shifting between you and something behind him every few seconds. “It’s okay.”
He swears his stomach isn't churning like this without good reason. It’s not just a coincidence that the same person who he had noticed eyeing you at the boba shop had gotten onto the same train. He could let it go at that, but the same man had been slowly worming his way through the crowd to get closer to the two of you. And while he’s not certain, he thought he saw the man take out his phone and try and angle it beneath you, but not before jolting and dropping his phone onto the floor when Hiragi's hands abruptly slammed against the wall beside you.
The train suddenly rocks, sliding his phone to the other side of the train, and you’re knocked off balance, face slamming against Hiragi's chest. “S-sorry!”
“It’s okay.” He gives you a smile, hand coming to cradle the back of your head and pull you closer. “You okay?”
“I’m okay...” you mumble, rubbing the bridge of your nose. “Your chest is hard.”
He responds with a light chuckle. It’ll be okay like this, he thinks. He’ll protect you with his body for now, and figure out what to do with that guy later.
KIRYU MITSUKI. ‘pretty thing’
“It’s no wonder she doesn't like you,” Kiryu sighs. “You're gross.”
Your mouth is ajar as you stare at the state of the man who was harassing you only moments ago, his unconscious body resting neatly against the wall after Kiryu had dragged him there.
“Sorry you had to watch that, pretty thing.” His hand comes to gently interlace with yours. “But he didn't leave me with much of a choice, did he?”
“It’s okay.” Your voice drops to a whisper. “That was so cool of you.”
His eyes widen a bit before his lips curl into a small smile. “Oh? You think so?”
“Mhm. I don't know what would’ve happened to me if you were there...” your voice trails off a bit.
You really don't know what would have happened, because it's not like you know how to fight or anything. Getting hit on is enough to make you nervous, so a pushy guy like that was too much— you froze up as soon as he started spitting threats after you expressed your disinterest.
There’s a light squeeze around your hands, and you’re reminded of this gentle warmth that Kiryu always brings with him. “Don't worry about it.” He gives you a small smile. “I’ll just need to accompany you more often when you go out. It’s no problem.”
KYOTARO SUGISHITA.
“You’re like a bodyguard, Kyo.”
You giggle at the huff beside you. “How’d you even react that fast?”
It all happened within a second. You were walking beside him, stopped for a brief second to bend down and peer at the plushies lining the shop window, not noticing the man approaching you— his grimy fingers coming to take a peek under your skirt. Before you had even registered the feeling of the cloth moving, there was a loud crack, and the man was on the floor, groaning with his hands covering his bloodied face and a very angry Sugishita on top of him.
“He made me angry.”
Of course he would be. And if you weren’t with your boyfriend, it would be an entirely different story. You’d bring along your assortment of self defense items, ranging from pepper sprays to taser lipsticks— and you’d be a thousand times more cautious. Pay extra close attention to everything around you.
With Sugishita, however, it’s different. You think of it as being able to turn off your brain… or something like that. Whatever lets you truly relax and enjoy your time with him, and it’s always okay because your boyfriend is there to protect you. “Well, don’t be so mad, cutie.” You smile, your fingers reaching to interlace with his as he tenses at the nickname.
“Everything is okay— I’m okay. I’ll even get us smoothies to help lighten the mood.”
He lets you drag him to your favorite smoothie shop in silence— still fuming about the incident. He wonders why you’re not shaken up. Ifnhe had been one second later, that piece of shit would have lifted up your skirt. In public. His jaw clenches at the thought, angry eyes darting at any anyone who dares look your direction.
“Why’re…” his voice trails off, remembering what Umemiya said about toning down his choice of words around others. “Why’re you so happy?”
“Hmm? I’m not too worried.” You laugh. “You’re my bodyguard right? Nothing will happen if you’re here.”

*ೃ༄ DOWN FOR THE COUNT!
ft. Sakura Haruka, Suo Hayato, Umemiya Hajime, Hiragi Toma, and Kaji Ren
… moments in which they realized they’re utterly whipped for you (2.6k wc)
Cw) gn!reader, uhh umemiya’s bit is corny but he’s lowkey a corny guy, tbh i got stumped with suo’s part sorry if that’s evident, profanity in kaji’s part, spar my head i haven’t written in a minute
SAKURA
“It’s getting late… I think I should get going before it’s dark.”
You had spent the day off with a few of the Furin first years, which included Nirei, Suo, and your boyfriend, Sakura. You didn’t realize how much fun you were having until you checked the time, almost reading past your curfew.
Sakura frowned, and Suo was quick to notice. He shamelessly pushed him closer towards you with his signature smile, making Nirei tilt his head a bit.
“Now now, no need to get so sorrow. You’ll see each other again soon!”
You quirked a brow at the one-eyed boy’s antics, wondering what he was up to this time. From the corner of your eye, you could see Sakura’s face growing redder and redder, something you’ve grown used to overtime.
“Yeah, I’m seeing him tomorrow or the day after,” you informed, a skeptical tone lacing your voice. “What are you getting at this time, Suo?”
He merely stood still and smiled as uttered the sentence that was bound to break Sakura.
“Don’t lovers bid each other farewell with a goodbye kiss?”
Ah, so that’s what that was.
Steam emitted from Sakura’s ears. On the other hand, you seemed unphased. He had a point, wasn’t that an unspoken rule? It wasn’t like you and Sakura hadn't kissed before, but whenever you did, it was always in private.
However, Suo seemed eager to know whether or not Sakura had the balls to kiss you in public, more eager than you for whatever reason.
“I mean, I don’t have a problem with it,” you replied shyly. “Do you, Sakura?”
It took all he had to form a coherent sentence. “No—! But why do you guys have to be here?!” he yelled.
“Well we wanna say bye too. Right, Nirei?”
The blonde nodded his head hastily. He always saw you as a friend too, and not just an extension of Sakura. Although, he felt bad for Sakura’s flustered state right now.
“Well then, I’ll see you guys later,” you waved at the two before turning to your boyfriend. “And you…”
If his cheeks could get any redder, they would. As you slowly leaned in for a kiss, he could see Suo’s sly smirk from the corner of his eye, as well as Nirei’s baffled face. Your face was getting closer and closer, eyes closed and lips parted, and all he could do was…
“Woah! There you go, Sakura,” Suo cheered.
His body acted faster than his mind, and before he knew it he was cupping your face gently as his lips moved against yours. There was no telling what came over him— he just went for it.
You pulled away, both breathless and flabbergasted. “I… I didn’t think you’d be so into it,” you stammered.
He looked away in embarrassment. “You wanted a kiss, right? So that’s what I gave…”
Everyone, including you, looked at him with cheeky grins.
“…you,” he finished, brows furrowing at the realization he’s the center of attention. “What’s everyone’s problem?!”
“Oh nothing,” Suo smiled. “It just seems you’re head over heels, that’s all.”
He didn’t reply, only watching as you waved everyone goodbye and headed home. After all, there was no point in denying something that was true.
HIRAGI
“Here, take this.”
”But it’s the last one?”
”I can always buy more, y’know?” Hiragi insisted, still holding the last of his stomach medicine out to you. “Besides, all you're gonna do is complain about how much it hurts till you get home.”
You hesitantly took the small box from your boyfriend’s hand, looking back up at him with a concerned glance. “You sure?”
”I’m positive,” he assured.
Reluctantly, you took the last dissolvable pill, throwing the now empty box into a nearby recycling bin. It worked as fast as Hiragi said it would. In an instant, your stomach stopped twisting and turning, and you no longer felt like you were being torn apart from the inside.
Hiragi watched from beside you, noticing your pained expression shifting into one of relief. He couldn’t help but let a small smile creep upon his lips. He knew better than anyone how bothersome stomach pains could be, so when you expressed how much yours ached, he felt the need to give up the last of his medicine— something he probably wouldn’t do so easily for anyone else.
“Thanks, Toma,” you said gratefully, hands tucked away in your pockets anxiously. It was until then you realized you’ve been forgetting something.
“Oh shit,” you muttered. “I forgot about these…”
You pulled out another pack of Hiragi’s stomach medicine. It was still wrapped, telling him you recently bought it. “I meant to give this to you earlier, but I was in so much pain that it slipped my mind.”
He examined the small box you held out to him, eyes wider than usual and mouth agape.
“You really didn’t have to, y’know?”
You scratched the back of your head. “Well, you told me yesterday you were running low. So when I saw it in stock, I figured I’d get it for you just in case. And, well, it’s a good thing I did, huh?”
He felt something flutter in his stomach, something he’s still not used to feeling around you. He gently took the medicine from your hands and unwrapped it immediately.
“Already!?” you yelped, watching as your boyfriend gulped down two of the dissolvable pills.
He chuckled sheepishly. Despite the aid to his stomach, the feeling wouldn’t go away. He knew now that they were butterflies, and no amount of stomach relief could kill them. At least, not while you’re around.
“What am I going to do with you…” he sighed.
Who knew that the tough, hardheaded Hiragi could be taken down by a couple of butterflies?
UMEMIYA
You could still recall the surprise you felt when you entered Umemiya’s room for the first time. It wasn’t its neatness— no. You figured Umemiya kept his room clean out of respect for his caretakers in the orphanage. It also wasn’t the wall full of photos that held memories of him, his friends, and even you.
No, none of that was a surprise to you.
It was the overflowing bookshelf against the widest wall that caught you off guard.
”I knew you were fond of a good book here and there,” you started as your widened eyes scanned the various titles that peeped out the shelf. “But this… this looks like it came straight from a library, Hajime.” you said in awe.
He gave you the go ahead to check it out, even pointing to the ladder tucked away in the corner of the room in case you wanted to reach the very top shelf— which even he couldn’t reach without an extra step. You gave him a small thanks as he flopped down onto his bed, turning his head to admire your moving frame.
”Oh?” you muttered, catching sight of a familiar spine. “Woah, you even have my favorite book,” you spoke, a hint of excitement lacing your tone.
”Hm?” he hummed, sitting up to catch a better glimpse of the book you held.
”This one! It’s my favorite, have you read it yet?” you inquired, wanting to ask if he’s read every book on that shelf for that matter. You were too fixated on rereading the synopsis on the back cover to notice your boyfriend was now standing beside you.
His eyes scanned the synopsis, not finding it familiar. “I think this is one of the one’s I’ve been meaning to read…” he said quietly, both speaking to you and himself.
You turned to face him, smiling at the focussed look plastered across his face. God, if only he knew how pretty he looked in the warm lighting of his room, you thought.
”Why don’t we read it?”
”But there’s only one copy…?”
”I meant together.”
Your words replayed in his head. You wanted to read the book with him… together… at the same time. ‘How would that go?’ he thought. He assumed you’d either be next to him, you’d hold one half of the book open while he held the other. He’d turn the page once you were both finished reading it, and maybe you’d lean your head on his shoulder and…
His face turned beet red as his mind conjured up all sorts of scenarios. No matter how he imagined it, it was always so… innocently intimate. You always looked adorable in his peripheral vision, and your presence alone warmed him more than the thick comforter you both sat under.
He didn’t realize he was staring until you waved your hand in front of his face.
”Earth to Hajime? Helloooo~?”
He stumbled back a bit in surprise, before eventually coming back to his senses. “Sorry! Sorry! I was just…”
”Staring at me for a minute straight?”
“Yes! No! Kinda?” he stumbled over his words, something you thought was a little unusual for him. “It’s just…”
You quirked a brow, both curious and nervous for what he has to say. It couldn’t be bad— considering how red in the face he was right now. Of course, that didn’t stop your stomach from doing backflips.
”I love you,” he blurted.
“I love you too,” you tilted your head, was that it? It was sweet, but it wasn’t like he never said it; what made him so nervous to say it this time?
“No, I don’t just love you…” his voice trailed off, and he took both your hands in his. The book you were previously holding hit the ground with a quiet ‘thud,’ and your lips parted in surprise.
”I’m in love with you, Y/n.” he confessed. “I would do anything you asked me to— anything. And if you wanna read this book together, then that’s what we’ll do.”
It was safe to say reading together became a regular thing for you two after that.
SUO
“You always sleep like that.”
Suo peered up at you with a quirked brow. “Hm? Like what?”
“Like that,” you gestured to his figure. He laid on his back, arms resting over his stomach and hands placed atop each other as if he were ready to be placed in a casket. “Are you sure you’re not a vampire?”
“Oh? Are you questioning my humanity now?” he teased, sitting up from the mattress to better engage in conversation.
You rolled your eyes, ignoring his comment and thinking back to your original train of thought.
Suo’s never cuddled with you.
The first time you shared a bed with the boy, you thought he was just stiff, not wanting to push any boundaries you may have had. Instead of questioning it, you opted to snuggle into his side for the night. Though you were a little disappointed to find him in the same state he fell asleep in when the sun rose, you never mentioned it.
That was until it happened again, and again, and again…
“Do you hate cuddling?”
His tired eye widened a bit in surprise, “What?”
“You sleep the same way every night… and you never cuddle. Are those two things related at all?”
Your words would’ve sounded harsh if it weren’t for your soft tone. You weren’t mad at him, only curious. What reason did he have for not wrapping an arm around you when you were lying right next to him? Don’t most couples do that when they sleep in the same bed, no matter how they sleep?
“I sleep like this out of habit. I’m sorry, love.” he spoke, voice soft and apologetic. “If you wanna cuddle tonight, I can try.”
“Please?”
He hummed, patting the spot next to him for you to scoot over, which you gladly did. You both laid back down, arms loosely wrapping around each other as you buried your face into his chest.
His scent was stronger this close up, something that soothed you greatly. You could tell he wasn’t used to this, and a small part of you felt bad for making ditch something he was adjusted to.
“Sorry for—“
“You don’t have anything to be sorry for,” he reassured. “I should be the one saying sorry. I didn’t realize how selfish I was being.”
You pulled away from his chest to look up at him, “Selfish?” you laughed. “You weren’t selfish, you were just used to something else.”
“Mmm, I suppose,” he whispered, gently pushing your head back on his chest. “But I could definitely get used to this.”
You thought he planted your head back on his chest for the comforting feeling, which was true to a degree. But his main motive for keeping you from seeing his face was so you couldn’t see the blush that crept up to his cheeks.
Yeah, he wouldn’t mind getting used to anything else as long as it were with you.
KAJI
Kaji was never fond of having his possessions tampered with.
For example, his precious headphones. They were a gift from Hiragi to keep him tamed when needed. Since the day he’s received them, he’s been incredibly selective with who can lay a finger on them.
In all fairness, he had a right to do so. For one, they were a gift. Second, he actually needs them. To those who don’t know him, he may come off as possessive. But in reality, he’s just being protective.
His clothes on the other hand… yeah, those were a different story.
Having so little clothes, he’s careful to keep them all organized throughout the week. So when he notices one of his hoodies is missing…
“Where the hell did it go?” he grumbled under his breath, scouring through his wardrobe in search of his missing hoodie.
It was nowhere to be found. Not on the hangers, not on the shelves, not misplaced under a pair of pants, nowhere. His brows furrowed tightly in annoyance, he could’ve sworn it was there yesterday…
“Kaji? You okay over there?” your voice called from his bedroom doorway.
Ah, he thought. In the midst of his dilemma, he forgot that you were supposed to be coming over today. He took a deep breath and closed his closet, turning around to face you.
“One of my hoodies went missing, have you seen it any…” he went quiet, eyeing you up and down.
So that’s where it went.
“You mean this one?” you said, gesturing to the soft hoodie that clung to your torso.
“Yeah, that’s the one.”
“My bad…”
If he was being honest, he thought he’d be pissed if he found out you were the one who took it. That’s how he’d react if it were anyone else, right? But as he stared at his hoodie that you were wearing, he couldn’t feel an ounce of anger in him.
His cheeks turned red before he could notice, and he was too awestruck to utter another word. Seriously, shouldn’t he be mad? He thought he should be, but he couldn’t.
You noticed his dumbfounded face from across the room, unsure of what he was trying to express. “Sorry, Kaji. Did you want it back?”
“No—! You can…” his voice trailed off, finding his own thoughts to be unbelievable.
“Keep it,” he finished.
“Really?” you beamed.
“Yes really… Now hurry up and pick another before I change my mind.”
You rushed over to him gleefully, embracing him in a tight hug. “You’re the best!”
He hugged back, burying his reddened face into the crook of your neck. You let him go to search through his closet, looking for an extra hoodie to take for keeping. As he watched you sort through each one, only one thought crossed his mind.
‘Who let this happen to me…?’

WHERE: Uppercut Boxing WITH: @tomasxsaldana
“You know the point is to not get hit, right?” Her tone was teasing but the crease in her brow conveyed something more akin to concern as she took another peroxide soaked piece of gauze and set it to the side of Tomas’s head. It wasn’t the first time she’d patched up the bombardeo after a fight and she figured it wouldn’t be the last, but still, she hated how every scrape and cut seemed to look progressively worse as time went on. If it was any consolation, though, she imagined his opponent looked far worse. “Here,” she started, setting the gauze aside and grabbing the fresh glass of whiskey she had stationed next to her supplies. Holding it out to him, she offered up a small smile, “Did you win at least?” Reina asked, grabbing her own drink and raising it to her lips.

"I didn't realise this was make my feel like a grandma night." Batting his hand away, Lia scowled at him for a moment before his comment about her frown lines sank in and she quickly relaxed her face, reaching up to gently rub her forehead. "Obviously the LA mandated botox has worn off, I'll have to go back so I can look adorable for the rest of time." She was half tempted to try and push him off his stool but considering the difference in stature, she would probably end up being the one to fall over. "Was this your attempt to try and be right by making me sob over my apparent grey hairs? Not going to work, babe, I'm made of steel." It was partially true, if she could keep the emotions off of her face when she had left her house after the media storm of her break up had surrounded her, she could get through a light interrogation by a friend. "Appreciate the effort, but I'm fine. Who wouldn't be in your company, right?"
Just like Lia to call him out. It's one of the many qualities he enjoyed about her. Their playful sarcasm and playful banter fed his soul. "Well let's see," he started, tapping a finger against his chin. "Your shoulders are slumped a little more than normal. Be careful with that, Quasimodo." A wink followed his remark, bracing himself for any potential physical retaliation. "Also, your frown lines are a little more pronounced. And is that a white hair right there?" He reached for her hair, brow furrowed with fake concern.
