who: aisha & capped! (5/5)
when: sometime during the duration of Creekfest
where: hideaway market ( choose your own activity!! aisha will be crafty with anything <3 some suggestions - painting pumpkins, making a wreath, designing fall t-shirts)
Looking down at her masterpiece, well, the semblance of one, if you could even call it that, Aisha furrowed her brows. She was never a crafty person, but she thought trying her hand at some DIY projects would be fun. But looking at some of the others working on the same thing, hers was a bit more, creative to say the least. Glancing at the person next to her, she gave a nod of approval that their project was looking more polished than hers. "I like it so far, what kind of look are you going for?"

She hadn't been a stranger to the studio, having taken pilates classes a few times during the past year. Though after a few classes, Aisha realized she'd preferred the more laidback vibe of yoga rather than the intensity of pilates. On a weekend, she'd figured she would fall back into somewhat of a routine, the hectic energy of the past few months having her wanting to relax, or try to, before the holiday stress kicked in again. Meditation class hadn't been what she was hoping for though, about to get back on her feet when the other spoke. "I'm not saying it works wonders, but the quiet is nice for a bit if anything?"
Location: Breathe in When: November 2024 Who: Open (0/5)
Once a year, typically after watching clips of athletes at the New York Marathon, Noa tended to go on a fitness kick. It'd last a week. She'd get buoyed by a free class pass or a beginner discount and then fall off just in time for gingerbread season. With the stress of her latest renovations, she'd ended up at weekend meditations. (Which may not be fitness per se but did, according to google, did fall under the wellness umbrella.) After her second class, and while the attendees were filing out, she groaned as she pulled herself upright and said to the person next to her, "I am so damn far from nirvana right now."

"Always good for some needed perspective. What type of medium do you usually work with?" she asked, taking Noa's advice as she carefully outlined her design on the pumpkin. "Although I am a big summer girl, I can say I do love fall and everything that comes with it. Anything special you look forward to during the season? Besides your birthday, of course."
"It's helps to have a second pair of eyes," Noa said. "I get all twisted sometimes with pieces in my workshop and I have to get someone in to put me straight." She worked slowly to smooth out some of the rough edges of her outline, smiling as Aisha continued to speak. "Nothing really beats this time of year, does it? I always loved October, and not just because of my birthday."

"I'm sure it'll look great lit up," she nodded, looking at her own pumpkin as she tried to figure out how to fix it before hearing Noa's comment. "Oh, that would definitely work! I guess I was overthinking a bit, thanks for the tip," she grinned slightly. "I was thinking of carving a few spooky pumpkins over the week, really lean into the Halloween vibes. That and looking at all the fun decorations they have."
"I think I went too large here," she pointed out the silhouetted hat, and the broomstick underneath. "Though I guess the true test is for tonight when I stick a candle in there." She carefully maneuvered her pumpkin guts into a container. If she was lucky, they'd still be good enough to toss into a recipe or two. "You can definitely save that though. Throw a little white outline on there and I could buy it's Ghostface."
