"The very same," Keo confirms a little too fast, realising then exactly what she had said which compelled him to circle back to the same line of argumentative logic that he thinks got him fired so fast in the first place.

"And I do know the difference between soy and oat milk, it was the barista who messed that up. I know I asked for."

He at was at least sixty-percent sure that he had asked for the correct beverage -- lapsing in the fact that no milk had been a crucial part of it -- and he deemed the forty that casted doubt on it none of his business.

"How's the big search for the next big one?" He asks, recalling her search for a new project during his brief employment by her.

Demi didn't know what kind of hubris had her purchasing Barbra Streisand's lengthy memoir when she was deep in the trenches of Christmas Carol season -- she likely wouldn't have time to dig into it until February at the earliest.

The tall man's voice took her by interest when her name was brought up, casually glancing in his direction.

His wine knowledge started and stopped there, but he knew he didn't need to be a sommelier to drink it.

"You really going to hog that all to yourself? On Friendsgiving or whatever the fuck this things called. Doesn't seem very in the spirit of things."

"That is mama's wine," Demi informs him, scooping and hoarding her wine bottle closer to herself as if she was a dragon in a cavern defending her hoard.

She couldn't abide mocktails in any situation and especially not around the holidays.

"You drink wine? You going to be able to be cool about it? If I decide to share…"
