Event: The Halloween Party 31st October 1976

We all know Amelia Bones. The beloved head-girl, the do-gooder, future Auror. But after this party’s events, I can’t help but ask, do we really know her? We expected Remus Lupin to be spiking the punch, but we weren’t expecting him to be helping lovely Amelia spike her own drinks throughout the night! Gasp, don’t tell McGonagall. Would hate for Gryfindor to lose some house points. 

BUT! That’s not all. Rodolphus Lestrange was seen exiting the party with Amelia. Perhaps he wanted to show her a song he wrote on his guitar? Rumour has it, we have a young budding musician on our hands, or perhaps they were just... SNOGGING! 

That’s right folks, you heard it here first! Multiple sources, who I can not name, have confirmed it! Amelia Bones had Rodolphus’s tongue down her throat! (Ew!) I will definitely be keeping a close eye on those two over the next couple of weeks! Maybe next time they’d do it in a more romantic setting that’s not a dusty corridor. Or maybe there won’t even be a next time? Let’s just say that Amelia wasn’t the only girl that Rodolphus left the great hall with… but I’ll keep that secret in my pocket for another day. 

Rumour has it that Edward Tonks caught the two in the act, leaving him broody about the fact that one of his friends, who supports muggle-rights, was kissing someone who's so stuck up about blood purity. What I found curious was that his beloved Charlotte Shaw also disappeared from the party last night for quite some time. One can only wonder where she went to, or who she went to see. Maybe Edward’s blood status bothers her more than he thought? I guess we’ll never know, or will we?... 

Where’s Wally? Oh that’s right, shoving a fist into Landon Boot’s face! Walden MacNair and Landon were caught in a fist fight by a Professor that night. Rumour has it, it all started after Landon pulled the ‘class’ card on Walden and insulted his mother! Low-blow Landon. Reports say that Walden then stole Landon’s wand (you should never play with another man’s stick without permission) and it just escalated into a gross display of toxic masculinity. 

Injuries include a broken nose and fragile ego from Walden’s side and multiple bruises and a busted lip on Landon’s side. What really interests me though, is how exactly this would affect their friendship circle. Landon always seemed like a Ravenclaw peering into the snake tank, trying to make friends, whilst Walden is literal roomies with them. Maybe Landon has more connections than we thought, such as Saskia Parkinson or Bellatrix Black, who were both seen visiting him in the infirmary, or perhaps we’d see more of him sulking, alone, in the common room. 

Well, that’s it for now witches and wizards. But do not fear! I’m currently chasing a few more stories and I have some longer, deeper  investigations ongoing as well! Stay tuned and always remember, Snitches don’t get stitches! My owlery is always open to any anonymous tips!
