Her hands wouldn’t stop shaking, why wouldn’t they stop? She pressed the back of her hand to her lips to stop herself from losing control as she felt the reassuring embrace of Jason and she tried hard to hide the instinctive flinch from any touch that was commonplace with the witch when she didn’t want to have a premonition. “No, no you don’t get it Jase, if I’m not then who else will?” she managed to stammer, her voice wavering with the effort as she tried to keep what little of her composure that she had. “This town is going to hell and everything is falling apart, me being strong is the only damn thing I can do so I have to keep going, I have too. I --” she broke apart then, tears streaming steadily down her cheeks and she tried to keep from being loud and overheard by the others in the next room. She was always the one that kept going, tried to remain optimistic about the situations the place had got themselves in but she was so tired, finding it harder and harder to remain the strong one when there was so much death in their world. There was too much going on, too much pain and she wondered how much longer she could go on before she broke completely. 

“I have to.”
