FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) is a statutory body established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. It is responsible for regulating and supervising the safety of food products in India. As per the FSSAI guidelines, any business entity involved in food-related activities, including manufacturing, packaging, distributing, and storage must obtain an FSSAI registration or license.
