At this point I think that the only value Inquisition even has is that it looks pretty and to get to run around and take screen shots plus farm for materials. The soundtrack is decent too. Just coming off the previous two games, apart from pre Trespasser Solas, Cole,Blackwall & Iron Bull the rest left me with varying degrees of frustration.Oh and it was nice to see Morrigan again.

Yeah. I don’t even really know how to talk about this well, but I played all of the DA titles back to back in a very short marathon span of time, and I was so deeply in love with the series, like, so much, and I wanted and tried to love Inquisition so badly, but they made such like disgusting writing choices so many times, it left me feeling stupid, and ashamed, of ever having liked it at all. And I know objectively that’s not a correct assessment, and I’m not stupid for having liked the games before it, but shame is one of the hardest feelings to get past, for me anyway, and I just feel like I fell for something and was an idiot and it’s made it really hard to feel the same way about the others. I’m trying to get past that, but like. I know how Game of Thrones fans felt now, with that finale, and my deepest condolences. I don’t like feeling this way. I still really can’t even comprehend everything they chose to do, and how and why it was so bad. Like. It’s really insane stacked up to the previous titles. Sure there were moments, but great moments and even great characters in the middle of some of the most disgusting ethical pulls from a tripple A franchise in the last decade does not a video game save, and still leaves me feeling like I failed myself by having loved it at all. : /
