Daibetes is the most commonly disease seen in oldage people. There are two types of diabetes are there .diabetes type 1 and diabetes type 2. There are certain myth are there related to daibetes.

Myth-1 Eating sugar can cause daibetes to people
It is totally a myth. Eating lots of sugar can't give rise to daibetes . It is found that American daibetes association mentioned that eating lots of sugar alone can't cause daibetes. But in certain casese it contirbutes as a major factor. Diabetes 1 is caused by due to genetic and possibly due to autoimmune triggers.and diabetes -2 is caused by genetic and other risk factor such as life style etc

It is found that people are saying don't eat carbohydrates when you have diabetes. But carbohydrates are not your enemy . The amount of carbohydrates and the type of carbohydrates which we are taking it can helps to triggers daibetes. Eat those foods which have low glycemic index.
Example of low glycemic index are as follows
Whole grain bread
Dried beans and other legumes
low-starch vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli etc
It is always good to take the food which have less glycemic index . It will be healthy and does not acts as risk for daibetes and other diseases.

It is a myth .we all aware that starchy foods contains all the carbohydrates . So we should not off limit the starch food . We should always try to eat balance food which contains all the minerals ,protien ,vitamins and carbohydrates etc.
Myth-4 you can't eat desert again if you have diabetes.
It is completely a myth . There is nothing like that you can't eat . The amount you are eating it should be in a limit. It is found that when we are restricting toouch for ourself for something it can increase the risk of over eating or eager to eat. The average person can eat 45-60 grams of sugar in the meal. As per the American diabetes association the amount of carbohydrates which we are eating it should be less and in moderate amount .
Myth-5 you can't unwind with the wine
We had heared about this many times but it is a myth . Alcohol consumption in moderate amount is ok if you are daibetes are under controlled. It is found that alcohol can drop you blood sugar down . The dietry guidelines of American found that women should not drink wine or beer more then the specific amount and the men should not eat more then two .One drink is 5 ounces of wine, 12 ounces of beer, or 1.5 ounces of distilled spirits.
Myth-6 fruit is bad
Fruit is not bad . It is a myth and we have commonly this pharases many time . But in actual fruit is not bad if we consume in the appropriate amount. We should avoid natural food because it contains lot of sugar. We should eat the fruits as per below criteria
1/2 medium banana
1/2 cup cubed mango
3/4 cup cubed pineapple
1 1/4 cups strawberries
Myth -7 sugar free products are healthy
It is a myth that people are thinking when a person have daibetes then he or she avoid sugar containing product or consume more sugar free product . But don't assume that eating without sugar free product will be a healthy choice . Try to take or consume those foods which have perticluar carbohydrates and other protein contents. You should take those foods which is balance and rich source of protein and vitamin.
Myth -8. If you are taking medicnes then you can eat what you want
No it is not true that when you are taking medicnes you should anything . It is myth . You should take medicenes properly and as well as eat food which are in less carbohydrates. Now you can buy prescription drugs online.
