“No!”

A horrified scream deafened the facility. Or maybe people there were already deaf – no hearing pleads and cries and kindness, aren’t people supposed to be kind? That’s what Tubbo told him.

“No! What did you do to him?!”

He turns around to look at The Census Bureau in front of him, who’s face is as perfectly neutral and emotionless as always. There was time when Fred admired that about them. But now this lack of humanity is nothing but disgusting.

“Resident 0025 was proven to be difficult. He received his punishment”, the voice is neutral too if not a bit sadistically smug. The Census Bureau looks behind him at the ice chambers, and Fred is too aware of them as well.

His heart is squeezed into a juice of pain, and Fred can feel tears forming in his eyes – it’s not the first time he is crying, but first time he shows this level of humanity in front of Federation higher ups. He will be punished later. He doesn’t care.

“Please”, the plea escapes their mouth before he can even think of it. “Please. Freeze me to. I deserve the punishment. Please”.

The Census Bureau laughs.

“No”, they answer, and Fred thinks he dies here and now. “Your memories will be wiped, as a valuable worker, and we will make sure this never happens again”.

Fred feels how somebody – probably guards – grab him and tug him to the Memory Facility. The Census Bureau smiles. Fred holds back a grim smile as well. Working in the Memory Facility for a long time means he knows the ways around full memory clearance.

He will may not be remember Tubbo, but he can remember feelings. And he will be there. A worker with a wiped life, when Tubbo is out of the ice as well.

He can wait.

He will wait.

If I was in a angsty-writing mood, I would probably write such a heart wrenching piece using this song as a reference, oh my god.

But I am not. I want to keep Frubbo fluffy while we can. So I decided to make an aesthetic instead :D

Aka it’s still angst. But in pictures. And for an AU that @cindersnows enlightened me to, where Frubbo have been together before Tubbo was frozen.

So this song is obviously not really an aesthetic or web weaving song ahahahha, but it DOES give me an AU idea!

An AU, where Fred is an Angel and the Federation is basically a Heaven government, which watches over the islanders, who got there. But you know, watches over in a Structure and Perfection™️ type of way.

Tubbo is here by mistake. He is actually a demon, who came to life on earth thanks to marrying his alive friend (ig Tommy can take this role LMAO), and then died. Somehow getting ing heaven, because the universe probably was very confused by him.

So in a true Beetlejuice-like manner, he is A MENACE. So Fred, as one of the highest angels, was put on a duty to enlighten him to the god’s will (read: convert him into a perfect little puppet). Like they did with a lot of other people. Needless to say it goes south and gay ;)
