February 15th 2023

Today we got a blizzard come through our part of Colorado. Everything is covered in snow with some of the drifts reaching around 4 feet. The animals don't seem to mind at all even some of them, like Grumpy the rooster, choosing to stand out in the cold and get coverd in snow and ice. Marisela and I are choosing to not do that and are rather happy staying inside out of the cold huddled by our small fireplace trying to stay warm. The snow and cold are only supposed to stay a few days and I will be happy to get back to normal and get back to work on the ranch making improvements.

Willma the pig is getting better slowly. I am still not sure what is wrong with her but am glad to see her getting better everyday. She still won't completely stand on her own but will atleast now sit up and eat and drink by herself. although we sometimes have to give her water with the bottle every now and then as well.

This park is incredible year round. We visited again in the winter and it snow and ice covered cliffs were amazing. This is a fantastic place to snowshoe and cross country ski. We saw plenty of people enjoying the groomed trails that lead out to the cliffs.
