the les mis fandom lucked out so hard with the amis. they're such lovely boys that when you encounter a ship you don't ship on ao3 you read the damn fic anyways because they are lovely boys.

i stopped caring so much about low fic stats when i was 12 and realized that my enjoltaire fics were my worst ones (because i had written them when i was younger) yet they had the most hits and kudos. made me realize that i was always going to write niche stuff that people didnt necessarily want. i want it though. and when other people do want it that makes it even more special
