tate asked if you could watch a scary movie with him and you finally agreed. he already knew that you were gonna fly off the couch in fear halfway into the movie, but you wanted to be tough for him. there wasn’t anything scary happening until a monster popped up, making you and the people on the film scream. you hid behind tate’s shoulder, gripping on him sweater. he jumped a little as well, but started laughing shortly after. “you should’ve seen your face.” he grinned, stuffing popcorn in his mouth.

"you ready sweetheart?" kit asked you, turning of the lights and sitting next to you on the couch, only wearing a set of plaid boxers. you nodded and smiled, him smiling back and starting the movie. you didn't want to tell kit that you were scared, he had been wanting to see the movie for a while, and you didn't want to ruin the fun for him. there had be a ton of jumpscares in the past ten minutes, and kit, like the big man he is, laid unphased, while you were hiding behind his shoulder, shaking and jumpng every few minutes. "are you scared? it's okay." he said in a soft voice, pulling you into his lap. "it's not real." he reassured you, kissing your cheek.

kyle started to cuddle into you as the movie got scarier and scarier. “are you okay kyle?” you smiled down at him, you smile faltering when you saw how terrified he looked. he was making small scared grunting noises. a jumpscare popped up and he let out a cry, hiding his face in his hands. "oh baby, it’s okay,” you kissed his head. "it's not real, ky.” he held your face in his hands. “n-not re-real.” he muttered, looking directly into your eyes. you giggled and ran your fingers through his hair.

it was silent in your bedroom when the movie went silent. it wasn't peaceful for long though. there was a scary and loud jumpscare that make you and jimmy scream, jimmy accidently hitting his head on the bed frame. "jimmy!" you gasped then laughed when he started laughing. "are you okay?" you asked, that bright smile still spread across your face. "i'll live." he rubbed his head.

you shielded yourself with james' pillow as the suspenseful music grew louder and louder. “j-james,” you whined, grabbing on to his shirt. "hmm?" was all your boyfriend said, stuffing his mouth with popcorn as the teenagers in the film where running away from whatever was chasing them, you couldn't tell what it was, because of the pillow in front ofyour eyes. “james plea-,” you cut yourself off by screaming when a jumpscare appered onscreen. “oh darling, it's alright.” he cooed and pulled you into his lap.

during these times, rory always wrapped you in a blanket. that's how he kept you ‘safe’ because he knew you didn't like scary movies. the movie had gotten scarier halfway through, making you pull up the blanket to your nose and stare at rory. his eyes were wide and full of excitement, you always wondered how he was so into this kinds of movies. looking back at the screen you felt rory wrap his arm around you, making you jump out of your skin. "did i scare ya babe?" he teased, kissing you on the cheek.

“it’s okay, it’s just a movie” he tried to comfort you. he was bad at it but it always help you when you were feeling upset or stressed. he brought you into his chest and patted your head. you smiled, breathing in his cologne. seconds later, you eyes screwed shut again when there was a loud noise that echoed around the whole basement. you made a startled noise and kai wrapped his arms tighter around you. the movie ended with another jumpscare, scaring you more than the whole movie did. kai chuckled lightly and powered off the tv, and turning the lamp on. “don’t be scared, i’m here.” he kissed your forehead and threw a blanket over the both of you.
