(#FromTheSidelines You don’t lead your team with 60 RBI and finish second with 19 home runs and 18 doubles just walking up to the plate and expecting greatness to happen. You find ways to challenge yourself and keep improving, never being satisfied with where you’re at and what you’re doing every time you go out there. ~~~~~ This wasn’t a drill the coaches had the players doing as part of practice. This is what I saw Wil Dalton doing AFTER practice was over, enlisting the help of Assistant Coach Brad Weitzel to pitch him tiny wiffle balls. It’s this self-motivation and dedication to the game that got his 19 home runs last season ranked 11th nationally and are the second-most by a UF outfielder in school history It’s how he became ranked second in the SEC in RBI, home runs and total bases (149, 22nd nationally); and ninth in runs scored (60). It’s why he was named the SEC Player of the Week after racking up nine RBI on two homers and a triple at Kentucky, had 17 multi-hit games, including two games with four hits, and 14 multi-RBI games, and was the only player on the team to record five RBI in a game, and he did it three times: six vs. Stony Brook (March 2), six at Kentucky (April 20) and six against Columbia (June 1) He also had two games with multiple home runs: three vs. Stony Brook (March 2) and two at South Carolina (March 17) And a work ethic like his is how he became one of just four players in the SEC to have three home runs in a game (March 2 vs. Stony Brook), and got him selected to 2018 All-SEC Second Team, College Home Run Derby Participant, Gainesville Regional All-Tournament Team, and Dick Howser Trophy Semifinalist. But those accolades and accomplishments happened LAST year, so it’s why he continues to push himself even harder this preseason, to set the bar even higher for himself THIS season. Hi there

I just read ch 12 of #fromthesidelines and I'm upset.

SPOILER ALERT for those of you you haven't read it yet

The development of both characters throughout this fic is astonishing, like so incredibly well done, and that is why it hurts like a moth***ucker.

Seeing Bakugo struggle so much with his own emotions because he felt unable to love was heart wrenching, the way he struggles so much to allow himself to feel and convey those emotions made me cry my eyes out, and Deku learning that he deserves someone that will love him back was such a proud moment even though his goodbye to Katsuki killed every living part of me, and there wasn't much left.

The last segment of the chapter gave me a bit of hope back, the way Bakugo kept coming back to Deku was adorable and shows that he cares so deeply for him, even though I can admit it's a bit selfish on his part to hold on to him, but come on even Inko said you can't live wondering what could have been.

now the last line is what delivered the final blow and left me a crying mess, if Deku doesn't show up I will start crying again and loose all faith in humanity.

can't wait for the last chapter
