My family and I are very close but I have always been independent, and I have always wanted to live independently. But now that I live from thousand of miles away from them, just hurts a lot. Being away from them made me realize how important my family is.... How every moment should be cherished when I'm with them... how it gives me the joy to be with them despite the arguments...

Introduction first thousand days golden periode for golden future

Tiga hari yang lalu tepatnya pada tanggal 25 Januari 2018 diperingati sebagai hari gizi nasional. Sub tema dari hari peringatan ini adalah mewujudkan kemandirian keluarga dalam 1000 hari pertama kehidupan (HPK) atau the first thousand days, yang mulai diperkenalkan di Indonesia tahun 2010.

Pada tahun ini, sebelum mendekati peringatan hari gizi, kasus yang terjadi di Asmat tentang gizi buruk ataupun didaerah yang lainnya menjadi gambaran bagaimana gizi untuk anak yang ada di Indonesia masih merupakan masalah yang belum terselesaikan hingga saat ini.

Periode 1000hr pertama merupakan periode emas atau priode kritis, yang bila tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik akan berdampak permanen dan berjangka panjang (window of opportunity). Dampak yang ditimbulkan bukan hanya dari kesehatan, tetapi juga perekonomian global karena menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia ke depannya. Yang harus dilakukan adalah fokus dalam pemberian nutrisi yang baik dan tepat dari masa janin hingga anak berusia dua tahun yang merupakan proses tumbuh kembang yang cepat dan tidak terjadi pada kelompok usia lain dengan total jumlah 1000hr (dapat dilihat pada gambar).

Bila direnungkan, penggambaran manfaat program nutrisi di awal kehidupan bisa dilihat pada kehidupan lebah. Lebah termasuk hewan yang istimewa. Lebah (An Nahl) termasuk ke dalam salah satu surat pada Al Quran.

يَخْرُجُ مِنْۢ بُطُوْنِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ اَلْوَانُهٗ فِيْهِ شِفَآءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ

“….Dari perut lebah itu keluar minuman (madu) yang bermacam-macam warnanya, di dalamnya terdapat obat yang menyembuhkan bagi manusia. Sungguh, pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda (kebesaran Allah) bagi orang yang berpikir.”

[QS. An-Nahl 16: Ayat 69]

Pada kehidupan lebah, larva dengan gen yang identik dapat menghasilkan lebah pekerja dan ratu lebah. Lebah pekerja hanya mengkonsumsi royal jelly <3hr. Sedangkan ratu lebah mengkonsumsi royal jelly >3hr.Karena itu, lebah pekerja memiliki tubuh yang kecil dan berusia pendek sedangkan ratu lebah sangat besar dan berusia lebih panjang 🐝👑

Pada kehidupan manusia, ketika terjadi pembuahan, delapan minggu pertama akan terjadi pembentukan cikal bakal organ tubuh (otak, hati, jantung, ginjal, tulang, dll) dan sebagian organ akan terus berkembang sampai dua tahun pertama kehidupan. Dan pastinya dalam proses pertumbuhan dan berkembangan itu butuh nutrisi yang optimal dan tepat.

Jadi nutrisi memang sangat penting untuk awal kehidupan manusia, bahkan mendapatkan asupan nutrisi yang baik dan tepat dapat membantu diri melebihi potensi genetik yang kita miliki.

Apabila nutrisi dalam 1000hr tidak dilakukan secara optimal dan tepat, maka yang dapat terjadi gangguan pada proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang akan berjangka pendek dan panjang dalam kehidupan anak.

Perkembangan Otak terganggu >> Kognitif dan prestasi belajar rendah

Pertumbuhan Fisik terganggu >> Stunting >> Kekebalan kapasitas kerja rendah

Metabolisme terganggu >> Penyakit di masa depan seperti dm, jantung, stroke, kanker, ht, obes.

Dari situ kita bisa melihat bahwa ini bisa menjadi lingkaran siklus yang tidak terputus karena ekonomi>>nutrisi tidak terpenuhi dengan tepat>>sdm lemah>>produktivitas kurang>>kemiskinan>>ekonomi kurang + timbul penyakit>>biaya negara meningkat>>hutang.

Untuk yang sudah berkeluarga semangat untuk membangun cikal bakal generasi gemilang yang akan membawa kejayaan Islam, bangsa dan negara kita tercinta. Bagi yang memiliki rezeki lebih, jangan pernah lelah membantu saudara-saudara kita diluar sana yang kelaparan dan kekurangan. Karena mereka tidak cukup untuk diberitahu saja, namun juga perlu dibantu. Ibaratnya, beli beras aja sekarang mahal banget, boro-boro mikirin gizi atau nutrisi yang tepat😞

So, there is now a shared opportunity to save millions of lives and unlock human potential start from our home 🏡🏡🏡
