I decided to restring my acoustic for the first time in about six years and opted for some sturdy medium gauge replacements without considering how long it's been since I actually played properly. DEAR GOD I CAN BARELY PLAY BARRE CHORDS ANYMORE. IT'S LIKE BEING THE ANXIOUS 11-YEAR OLD IN THE MUSIC STORE EARNING HER FINGER CALLOUSES ALL OVER AGAIN.
