There she is my little French lesbean
Kalos Gogoat dairy farmers send their child off to boarding school only for her to immediately get bullied for her accent/shiny partner and join the wrong crowd but it's ok because there's a really cute redhead there and maybe they'll hold hands
Her Skiddo is named Millefeuille

hug me, not it!
contents ౨ৎ ⋆ s. todoroki x gn reader ⭑ your boyfriend has hidden beef with your plushies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
shoto beadily eyes the intruding beasts behind you with distaste subtly written over his pretty features.
the “intruding beasts” being your plushies neatly lined up against the wall of your dorm.
did he buy most of them for you with his father’s credit card whenever the two of you went on dates? yes.
does that mean he was any happier to see them in his presence? no.
they already get the privilege to sleep with you every night. how dare they gatecrash on the both of your precious private time like this? uninvited too?
it’s silly, he knows, but he always gets the tiniest bit jealous when he comes to your room for study sessions or sleepovers, even movie nights.
only to see you cuddling with that damn rilakkuma bear plush he gave you last year to celebrate your anniversary in your lap. for the millionth time. in his spot.
shoto can’t help but feel a little replaced.
he throws one last glance over your shoulder at the offending sacks of fluff, before his soft strawberries and créme hair brushes your chin as he nuzzles deeper into the crook of your neck.
“sho!” you giggle. “that tickles.”
you feel a faint smile against your collarbone. just the slightest bit mischievous enough for you to be able to tell, as he lets out that quiet, melodic laugh of his. “sorry.”
he’s not really, though. shoto peeks back over at your plushies, the barest hint of smugness visible on his lips.
mine. shoto thinks while looking at them, arms circling your waist.
unaware of the one-sided competition for your affections behind you, you’re deadset on a mission for revenge.
gently, you brush the tips of your fingers along his neck.
shoto’s ridiculously handsome as he leans into your touch with a curious tilt of his head.
“what are you doing?”
his bangs fall into his eyes as he questions you, and you feel your heart skip a beat, wondering how he’s even real.
“trying to tickle you back!” you desperately attempt to do so again under his arms and on his thigh.
other than a blink from him, still no reaction.
“love.”
you don’t seem to hear him.
“shoto, lie on your tummy.”
he complies easily, always one to humor your bouts of inquisitiveness. whenever you were focused on something, you tended to tune everything else out.
shoto stretches out on your bed with his tall frame not unlike a cat. but his head is still turned back to you, staring at you to try and to get your attention.
“love.” you’re trying to tickle the back of his knee now, to no avail.
finally, you raise your head to look at him. “yeah?”
“i’m not ticklish.” shoto deadpans.
“what, really?” you whine, stopping your attack on his leg. “not even as a baby?”
“no.” amusement dances in his gemstone eyes as he studies you. “touya always got mad when he tried to, because it never worked.”
you stifle a giggle behind your hand. “what did you do to make him tickle you in the first place?”
“exist,” your boyfriend says so simply that you have to let out a laugh.
you reach out to cup the side of his cheek, and there’s a soft intake of breath from him as his lashes flutter shut.
shoto wonders how your gentle touch always makes him feel warm all over, when he’s certain he’s not even using his quirk.
it’s strange. in good way.
“why do you like cuddling those plushies so much?” he murmurs, eyes still closed.
a flustered expression that he can’t see spreads across your face.
“um, i guess it’s ’cause they smell like you and at night it helps me sleep?”
“oh.” his eyes blink open in surprise at that, warmth starting to grow on his cheeks.
shoto takes in the sheepish grin you’re wearing, and reaches out to cup your burning cheek similarly like how you did with his moments before.
you shiver into his sweet and soft touch, and the side of his lips quirk up.
“you can cuddle them. but when i’m here, the only one that should be in your arms is me.”

Perler Flight Banners!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Made the first of these when I made the flight flags a bit back (my flight, Light), and figured it was a good time to make the rest of the flight banners and share the designs! To the best of my ability, they're also to scale with each other, so I think they'd look pretty good if you wanted to make the whole set and put 'em on your wall or something.
Sort of also for Dergtober's first prompt ("Flight"), but uh, ran into that thing with trad media where sometimes you run out of materials, ha! This is also why they're mostly not fused (Ice and Water share most of their mid/light blue beads, for example).
(Crafting info after the break!)
First off, all of these are either 17x34 or 19x34 (these squares are 17x17 on their own). They fit fine on the larger squares, but my big squares happen to all be either bright red or bright yellow, and don't show off the colors very well. They almost all use transparent beads for structural reasons- if you want to cross-stitch these, the transparent beads are fine to ignore! I was just making them so they could theoretically hang on a wall.
Colors used (my best guess, not gospel! I get most of my beads from kits/mixed bags, and they don't always list the color names :/ )
Light: Cream/Créme, Yellow, Cheddar, Transparent
Lightning: Copper (metallic), Robin's Egg, Parrot Green, Glitter Blue, Turquoise, Transparent
Fire: Black, Cherry, Orange, Cheddar, Neon Orange, Transparent
Arcane: Pearl Pink, Cheddar, Raspberry, Pink, Light Pink
Plague: Red, Cherry, Raspberry*, Pewter, Brown, Kiwi Lime
Earth: Brown, Light Brown, Pewter, Dark Gray
Ice: Robin's Egg, Pastel Blue, Gray, Dark Gray, Toothpaste, Light Blue
Shadow: Pastel Lavender, Purple, Dark Gray, Pewter, Toothpaste, Transparent
Wind: Kiwi Lime, Dark Green, Bright Green, Yellow, Rust, Red, Transparent
Water: Denim, Turquoise, Pastel Blue, Parrot Green, Teal, White, Marshmallow, Pastel Yellow, Transparent
Nature: Olive, Bright Green, Kiwi Lime, Dark Green, Marshmallow, Cream/Créme, Transparent
(* I used Raspberry on Plague's flag because I ran out of Cranberry. Cranberry looks WAY better, but like... mismatched didn't work at all. I highly suggest using Cranberry in place of Raspberry in all places it occurs on the design!)
Another color note- when you fuse metallic beads, the shiny stuff makes a lil halo around the bead's center hole. For Lightning, since they have wires/chains on their banner/support, I figured it would work fine, but you could swap the Copper beads out for Rust and it would look good enough, I think. You do lose the shiny factor doing that, though.
A couple of these extend off of the side of the boards; better to use a bigger board for them if you have one (or like, if you have a third 17x17, sticking it to the side of the others and scooting the entire design over a peg would also work!)
As is very visible on the Light banner, it's really easy to get a faulty fuse where the boards meet. The trick where you put masking tape/painter's tape on the back of the beads before ironing (the OTHER side, and then take the tape off to iron its side, to be clear) helps a lot on multi-board fuses. You don't have to poke holes in the tape, but I find that doing so with a ballpoint pen or what have you can help a lot with keeping the beads from moving around, etc.
Happy crafting- if you end up making any of these, please ping me (or um, whatever I'm supposed to call it... still don't quite know how this site works) so I can see!

prince of monaco ౨ৎ
notes: charles leclerc x reader, est. relationship, suggestive content, alcohol, insinuation of nudity (bathing) but no explicit details or sexual activity.
a/n: i wrote this at 11pm & it's a little ridiculous but this is also me projecting my manifestations for him to win his home grand prix this weekend.
The sweet aroma of your Miss Dior: Eau de Parfum in damask rose and incense against pink peonies, clean linen sheets mussed about the inviting embrace of the bed, café au lait from a drained mug on the nightstand beside sweet-smelling lilies, and white, lace stockings abandoned and draped over the velvet loveseat.
Charles' claim of 1st at the Monaco Grand Prix was most blessing, and the perfect excuse for a long night of a plentiful of Moët & Chandon champagne, honorary chants, and celebratory reverie: announcing him the 'prince' of his beloved home, a victory he has been yearning for, since forever.
You had remained with him through the week, watching and admiring through every practice session from your usual seat, enjoying luncheon together and laughing over the usual lovey-dovey or noncommittal subjects as a means to distract him from his nerves before qualifying – the kind of thing he doesn't admit to but you know is only human – and your never-leaving gaze throughout the Grand Prix itself.
Until you got to watch from below with love hearts in your eyes when he stood on that podium, in his true and most divine stature whilst the crowds called for him and the Monégasque anthem resonated like the music of the heavens.
Now, it is quiet in the apartment you both call home, all minimalist but comfortable interior in a palette of white, créme, beige and hints of colour against the décor that define it as yours: the polished trophies before the white-varnished piano, heavy and velvet curtains stirring lazily about closed balconies of their rocaille-esque motifs, the abandoned sweater forgotten on the sofa, your rose crocheting yarn on the coffee table beside a copy of last month's Vogue.
Peaceful and content, stood before the ornate mirror in the en-suite of polished marble and quiet luxury, humming some gentle and absent tune to yourself as you comb your hair – dressed down to the comfortable, white gossamer silk of your négligée – whilst the only tune that resounds being the hushed television down the hall.
It is only a minute later that you are interrupted from your daydreaming by the sound of the mahogany front door as it draws open and closed. The familiar clink of keys set down on the oak furniture in the foyer, shuffled footfalls a little less balanced than usual, quickly silenced against the sound of a familiar voice like melting caramel on the subtle, slurring song of inebriation.
"Chérie?"
Hair comb set down on the neat counter beside the porcelain embellished basin, you absently gnaw at your lower-lip whilst silent feet wander the parquestry of the flooring through the flat in your approach to the source of your boyfriend's return, tucking a hair behind your ear, "Charles, I'm–"
The words are lost on the edge of your tongue the second you emerge from the bedroom's suite, down past the plush sitting area to be met by the sight of him where the corridor joins the rest of the homely setting.
"Bonsoir, bébé."
Even when he is slightly hair-tousled with damp, brunet strays falling about his forehead and the linen of his shirt slightly wrinkled, Charles is a handsome man, devastatingly so; the kind of beautiful that renders the air from your lungs a little even when you hold back light laughter at him now.
From his posture, an effort of an elegant curve to his physique like he is trying to be some suave, pretty flirt from those old, romance comedies you watch, where one elbow is propped against the wood arch of the threshold – the only thing evidently holding him upright – whilst his flushed cheeks strain a little on a dimpled, lazy and contagious smile.
"Hello, Charles."
"Ma belle, I missed you, I'm home," With something close to a brief pout and an attempt at a wink, the man lets his lovely eyes dance down and along your own figure in a lingering admiration and a slow, drawn-out smirk that looks both laughable and far-too-endearing, lithe fingers absently adjusting his loosened shirt collar as you come closer.
"I can see that," In response, you try not to appear amused though it is perceptible on the curve by the corner of your sweet mouth when his eyes follow the subtle shift of your hips as you draw forward until your arms fold around his midriff, breathing him in: champagne and cologne, hints of warm amber and rosewood. "You're drunk."
His arm falls around your shoulder comfortably as he sways against you, kissing the crown of your head like a useless reassurance when he murmurs a lieu of words in the thickened curl of his accent, "Non, ça va, je–"
"Charles." Your face shifts with a look, the both of you stumbling a little backwards where his weight almost has you falling on the edge of a floral rug, a hushed, noncommittal sound close to a chuckle falling from the man as he buries his face into the side of your neck with the punctuation of an open-mouth kiss.
"D'accord, d'accord."
"Stupid," You mutter affectionately, rolling your eyes fondly despite knowing all too well what has him so distracted, the warmth of his mouth and the gentle rasp of his five o'clock shadow tickling the underside of your jaw and the sensitivity there, a purr reverberating from the back of his throat as a response.
"Are you hungry– would you like anything?"
"Just you, chérie, I want to..." The Monégasque trails off momentarily like he is disputing internally with his own dialogue, lightly calloused palms feeling the curve of your waist through pale silk before pausing at your derrière absently – tracing his tongue against the edge of pearlescent teeth – as the two of you move further through the sitting room, his voice a whisper, "Je veux te baiser, mon ange."
With a blush dusting the edges of your cheekbones at the obscène words, you offer a half-apologetic smile whilst stroking back his tousled hair, "How about we get dressed down and settled first, at least?"
Initially, he seems reluctant to offer any hint of acquiescence but he eventually nods a little with a vague sound of acknowledgement, fingertips still feeling over your figure as you walk the path together before reaching the bathroom, the door falling shut gently.
Even when the reality of the presence has you accepting tonight shall be long, the man is undoubtedly his most entertaining and equally sweet as romanticised prophecies when he is intoxicated.
"Mm," It is the only indication you are given when Charles' touch falls upon the lace edges of your négligée, drawing it down the curve of your shoulder slowly as he traces the shell of your ear with his mouth, "You're wearing my favourite."
A soft laugh leaves the depth of your chest – a hushed affirmative sound in reply – before his hands come to cradle either side of your jaw tenderly whilst his thumb caresses the apple of your cheek, the kiss that follows his gentle persuasion more loving, his lips parted softly.
Just as quickly as the almost peaceful, drawn-out intimacy begins, it ends when he gives some hushed, breathless sound of sheer enjoyment whilst his hips absently meets yours until you feel the edge of the basin behind, a palm splaying over his chest just enough to encourage him from pausing.
"We can have a nice bath first and then I might consider your suggestion, monsieur," You offer gently in hushed humour, undoing the remaining buttons of his shirt whilst sealing your sentence with a chaste kiss near his chin.
"I'd much rather have you."
"So romantic," Muttering the words quietly, your nose brushes the bridge of his own fractionally where you see the slight glaze of liquor in his eyes, like gentle moss and warm oak, his mouth shifting almost proudly with momentarily met gazes.
"Only for you, mon cœur, I could write you sonnets of love, la mélodie de tes yeux–"
"Okay, Romeo Montague, how about you wash first?"
The initial hope had only been to coax him into the warmth of the bath waters amongst a touch lavender oil that threatens to lull him further into quiet and peace, wash his hair from your seat and prevent the possibility of any difficulty, though clothes are mutually forgotten on the marble floors and small, white-cotton rug when he guilts you into joining him.
"Charles," A whisper of his name though the cadence of your voice lacks the intent of reproach, bodies close together as he guides you into a comfortable situation about his lap whilst you work nimble fingers through his dampened hair slowly, hoping to distract him from anything but washing and settling down from the dizziness of too much alcohol.
"You smell nice," He mumbles indulgently against your shoulder, tracing a kiss on the jut of your collarbone in the dreamy lull of his voice as though lost in the figments of his own thoughts, "Like les fleurs..."
"And you smell like a bottle of Moët."
The man offers a lowered tune of disagreement, a palm idly stroking the curve of your thigh and down the inside of your knee beneath the warm water as you lather the product through his tresses, holding back a smile when he responds drunkenly like some smitten, hopeless lover of the poets:
"Non, c'est seulement le parfum des nuages."
It is the kind of sweet words that would usually have your cheeks warming or laughing like some conjured image of him in your mind, rifling through books of poetry because you cannot fathom him thinking of such phrases alone, though the moment his lips find the curve of your throat and the sensitive area beneath your jaw, it is harder not to succumb to the gentle temptation and let him have his way, a sigh falling from you.
"What are you doing?"
"Loving you." He says the words so easily, like it is the simplest, most natural truth he could ever admit, the warmth and wetness of his mouth trailing the lines of your throat and across the arch of your shoulders.
"You're ridiculous."
"Ridiculously in love with you," He sounds proud of himself. Then, he is guiding the two of you, bodies pressed flush against one another as you are moved back, the weight of him familiar and the pressure of his mouth meeting yours slowly, "Let me love you, s'il vous plaît, ma chérie."
There are the smallest fragments of his soul and the secrets of his heart within the way his body moves, the gentle touch and the softness, the vulnerability and the passion even in the humour of his intoxicated mannerisms; how he makes love and the manner he holds you after, and there is an undeniable and irrefutable trust you hold for him alone.

You wanted the boyfriend experience at the Love Shop... you didn't think it would turn into more.
2. In Motion by dailydoseofdia (wc: 175.5k)

3. Damsel in Shining Armor by @jimilter (cevansbiceps) (wc: 44.5k, not completed yet !!)
Earth has completed a little over a revolution around the sun since Jeon Jungkook was brought onboard as the company’s CEO, but what does that change? Not a thing! You’re still his babysitter, he’s still an uncontrollably chaotic toddler, you still hate yourself for finding him hot, and he still needs you to save him from a crisis. Life is still so freaking unfair.
4. i know i kissed you before but i didn't do it right by royalwilds (wc: 28.1k)

It's that time of the year, the annual Rosco Ave Christmas Display Competition and the fierce rivalry between you and your neighbour Jungkook has kicked into gear yet again. But the stakes are higher than ever this year when you both place a wager - the winner gets to fuck the other however they want. Who needs a sleigh when you can ride Jungkook instead?
7. STUCK WITH U by jvngkook (wc: 10.6k)
perhaps being stuck with your roommate during a global pandemic wasn't bad after all.
8. blank check by pantaemonium, sugaxjpg (wc: 44.4k, not completed yet)
“Let me get this right, okay? You threw my name in as your fake girlfriend because you needed to prove yourself to your empty-headed friends, and now you need to fix it. Still,” you paused, raising your eyebrows, “your way of fixing is not to disclose it as a lie, but to cover it up with an even bigger and riskier one. Is that correct?”
9. the proposal by @hansolmates (wc: 20.1k)
Jeon’s the editor-in-chief for Big Hit Publishings, a closet romantic with a penchant for antagonizing his assistant on the reg. When his work visa is in the process of being renewed and he takes a trip to Norway, his eligibility to stay in America is on the line. However Jeon Jungkook doesn’t go without a fight, and in order to save his job he offers you a proposal you can't refuse.
10. A Night to Remember by @yoonieper (wc: 10.7k)
Taehyung somehow convinces Jungkook to go to one of his ‘special’ parties after years of a dry spell. Let's just say he was not prepared for the night ahead…
11. Ace by sennie (wc: 24.2k)
Jungkook only cares about three things: Baseball, painting and his team, but soon he’s adding you to that list when love comes flying at him fast and hard, knocking him right on his ass.
12. Down The Rabbit Hole by Jeonie aka @jjkxla (wc: 73.8k)
GUYS !!! THIS IS IT !!! THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE !!!!!! ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVS <3 i'll NEVET get tired recommending this one <3
Jungkook leaves a long relationship, doubting himself over issues that he can’t seem to control up until his best friends drag him down into Wonderland, a secret and vast BDSM community, the place where he meets and falls for you.
13. (s)he's on my mind by softskjin (wc: 27.3k)
You know when you’re having a discussion with yourself in your head? That very private moment? Forget it. Someone is listening to it.
14. Pub golf by @taleasnewastime (wc: 23.1k)
One night. One stupidly hot man, who just keeps appearing in every pub you go to. Six friends. Nine pubs. Nine drinks. Ten million stupid rules. Let the chaos begin.
15. Moirai by NoraBean (wc: 92.5k)
On your 18th birthday a name appears on your wrist. The name of your soulmate. It’s a momentous day that everyone looks forward to, but you’ve always brushed aside; refusing to believe in a fickle mistress called destiny. But what happens when on the morning of your 18th birthday you wake to find the name of your mortal enemy? Jeon Jungkook.
16. Show Me Something by dailydoseofdia (wc: 51.7k)
He was your first kiss years ago, only to become your first heartbreak the next day. Your life would have been much easier if only you would forget about him and move on, instead of having to see him almost every day because your best friend had fallen in love with his best friend. When your pal had suggested having a road trip for the final days of summer break before going back to campus, you said yes for a reprieve. Too bad she forgot to tell you about the two extra passengers tagging along. One of which is the boy that still has a tight hold of your heart without either of you even knowing it.
17. Microwave (Mis)adventures by @bymoonchild (wc: 20.8k)
The classic
Out of all things to be afraid of, Jungkook, the seat-stealer of your 8am class and annoying housemate whom you despise with every fiber of your being, chooses to have a phobia of microwaves, but he loves buying microwaveable food – because come on, they’re irresistible – and you somehow find yourself getting dragged into his microwaves (mis)adventures. Cue chaos, sarcasm-laced banter and an unplanned romance.
18. Falling Skies by @fortunexkookie (wc: 50k) (tw: it's an ANGST :( )
Jeon Jiyeon was your childhood best friend; her brother, Jungkook, was something else entirely. You used to be friends, but then he had gone from endearingly frustrating dumb boy to card-carrying fuckboy so fast it had given you whiplash. Despite the teasing and fighting, Jiyeon realized how Jungkook felt about you long before he did - it was a twin thing - and if you were her sun, and he was her moon, then she just wished she could show you how he reflected your light.
19. reading between the lines by Anonymous (wc: 51k)
You're an art student beginning your final year at university, and the assigned partner for your thesis project? Much to your dismay, it's Jeon Jungkook. You don't like him — he doesn't seem to try very hard, and besides, he's on the soccer team, and you don't really get along with athletes. Thanks to a lack of available models and a shortage of studio space, you end up spending a large portion of your semester locked in a tiny closet with Jungkook, where you eventually discover he's nothing at all like you originally thought.
20. Four Letters by @littlemisskookie (wc: 103.3k)
Your icy exterior makes it seem as though you dislike everyone- which is partially true. But the one person you truly dislike is the cocky frat boy Jeon Jungkook.
(+) Special shoutout to THE sub!jungkook drabble, piss baby by gothvkth !!!
trying out watersports with jeongguk.
I don't know guys... Listing all these wonderful fics makes me want to create one for sub!jungkook or sub!bts only...
Maybe one day... LMAO

i think the faeries of cookie run kingdom in general are a waste and that's really sad </3
Tumblr media
okay, face it. faeries are already a banger concept, and kingdom's twist on them is really unique! and very ironic — fae are often depicted to be allergic to silvers. really fun spin on it.
but god..... head in hands.... what did you DOOOOOOOO. it's no secret that the beast yeast arc was (and still is) a mess. but i think it's really sad how these sick ass concepts just.. get executed so poorly??
the thing is, in the 3rd anniversary, devsisters was trying to bite off more than they could chew. the introduction of the beasts was sudden, they felt pretty shoehorned in. i COULD say shadow milk is exempt from this — he's got some decent foreshadowing! can't say the others have it going for them...
okay, sure, introduce the beasts. introduce the faerie kingdom with them. these two things of course go hand in hand. BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES WITH THE BEASTS???
it's okay for crk to introduce new nations! but the faerie kingdom was out of the BLUE. nothing leading to it whatsoever. how are we supposed to deduce anything from what, white lily's prologue asset?
Tumblr media
it's very possible to introduce a new nation and do it right. dare i say the créme republic? there were previous mentions and hints to it ingame, making its introduction decent. see — if executed correctly enough, the faerie kingdom may not have needed too much of that.
let's say.. i dunno... two beast yeast episodes are equal to two days of odyssey. in two days of odyssey past ch1, that'd give us enough about the créme republic and time to learn about it! the good parts, and the gritty. BUT in the 3rd anniversary they were obviously trying to make it a little TOO big...
it'd have been nice to see those two episodes focus around the faerie kingdom, its traditions, its denizens and general environment and culture. there could've been problems without too much of a big bad, hell we could've had an almost beast escape. but then again, it WAS the anniversary, but was releasing lily not enough?
now don't get me wrong here — shadow milk had a spectacular introduction! he kind of saved the story i can't lie LOL but was his releasing from the seal..necessary so soon? of course, we'd just be delaying the inevitable, but it'd be nice to just..explore our surroundings a little first.
most information on faeriewood and the silver kingdom are in the LIMITED artbook </3 which kinda. sucks.
we should've also had time to meet the characters more. elder faerie dying is chill with me, nice to know devsisters aren't afraid to kill someone permanently. the problem is, his death was notably supposed to have impact. but like most people felt nothing... because elder faerie is more or less a plot device. give him a character, traits we can attach ourselves to!
there's a Lot more i could rant about actually, but my wrist hurts and i'm tired. i've posted stuff about the silver knights before. just had to let some of this out. tldr the faerie kingdom and faeries are a cool concept but dear god they were executed AWFULLY

𝐛𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐦. .
. . these seven years would be pretty dumb.
// tws ; slight cursing, blood ; gn reader ; modern au, hanahaki au
a/n: bubble gum by clairo :3
all you could think about was him.
your classmate with light and airy strands of porcelain white hair, akin to the color of an elegant swan’s feathers, all tied together daintily with a single thin vermilion red ribbon.
your classmate with those piercing honey speckled eyes which could see right through you, as if you were translucent.
your classmate who was always dozing off, whatever the reason may be.
your classmate who always managed to appear ethereal somehow, even after just sleeping.
your classmate, jing yuan.
you doubted he ever noticed you. he was always either dozing off quietly or caught up in chatting with fu xuan.
oh, you realized he was doing the latter right now.
fu xuan — more commonly known around the school as diviner fu — gazed up at jing yuan with her amber eyes, a serious shimmer in them. her lilac pink hair was divided into two neatly made ponytails, secured by four golden ji hairpins. they glinted in the bright, blaring fluorescence of the lights in the classroom.
jing yuan leaned down and she murmured something in his ear.
he returned to his usual standing position, now also wearing the same serious expression fu xuan was.
jing yuan glanced around the room, ochre eyes flitting.
you stared at him, curious.
his eyes landed on you, narrowing.
surprised, you panicked.
oh god. looking down would make it obvious i was staring at him. i could keep looking at his direction and pretend that i was looking at soemthing else? but what if he thinks i was looking at him? what the fuck do i do? oh, wait, he looked away.
never mind, he’s coming towards me.
oh fuck he’s coming towards me.
oh fuck. ohfuck. ohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuck-
"hey," jing yuan said, voice deep and a bit rough. he smiled slightly at you, immediately sending off a flurry of butterflies in your stomach.
"oh. uhm, hi," you greeted, your voice light and airy, nervousness bubbling up. you had been a shy person all your life, and your crush randomly coming up and talking with you did not help in easing your nervousness.
jing yuan glanced back at fu xuan, who shook her head furiously at him, signaling something to jing yuan you were unaware of. he rolled his eyes, but decided to comply with her.
"sorry for, uhm, bothering you. i was just wondering if you had the notes we were supposed to copy down today? i kind of fell asleep, and fu xuan doesn’t have them, so i was wondering if you did," he mumbled, an excuse for why he came over to you.
"oh, uh, yeah, i have them," you said, rummaging in your backpack to find your notes. pulling them out, you handed them over to jing yuan.
"thanks," he smiled, "i’ll return them to you tomorrow if that’s okay?"
you nodded.
he nodded.
then he walked away.
you probably should’ve tried talking to him a bit more. maybe make small talk. oh, god, but what if he started thinking you were interested in him if you did that? that you were trying too hard?
yeah , you convinced yourself, mustering up an excuse for your own cowardice. maybe it was better you hadn’t.
--
you had gotten back home from school. setting your backpack aside, you immediately made a beeline for your room.
as soon as you shut and locked the door, you began hacking up fuchsia and créme colored bleeding hearts was how you spent most of your time now.
every night after dinner, or the few bites of food you ate that you thought as dinner now, you'd go to bed with your dove-white sheets pulled up to your neck and with burgundy blood and toxic red bleeding hearts pooled around you.
every morning, you’d wake up wondering if today would be the day he'd finally notice you, if he'd finally know you existed. of course, you knew it was just wishful thinking, but you still craved for him to notice you, to talk to you for more than ten seconds.
and thinking about him lead to wheezing up even more bleeding hearts. all stained vermillion with blood and slick with mucus.
it was the the same cycle over and over again. rinse and repeat.
how you yearned for it to end. but you knew the cycle — and your hanahaki — could only end in one way at this point — death.
you had discovered that you had hanahaki a little too late. now you couldn’t do the surgery without the abnormally big chance of dying.
if you were to die either way, what was the point of doing the surgery then?
--
your hanahaki had gotten worse over the last few weeks.
now you coughed up whole bleeding hearts, coated and stained so much in your blood to the point where the original color of the flowers was unrecognizable.
now you wheezed the damned flowers whenever you fucking laid your damn eyes on him . now you avoided looking up from your seat even more than you used to.
now you hacked up the fucking flowers to the point where you would fucking blackout.
now you wanted to die. wanted to be put out of your damn misery.
--
you wished you could talk to him, but every time you began to walk up to him, you overthought everything and backed out like the coward you were.
it was like you were trapped in some sort of time loop from a horror movie — only instead of running away from something terrifying, this was more of a endless cycle of you wanting to talk to him but never doing so, one that you didn't quite know how to escape.
maybe, just maybe you should try and talk to him.
..
maybe tomorrow.

quicksand —gojo satoru + geto suguru
Tumblr media
summary: Five months after exiling yourself from jujutsu society and fleeing Japan, Gojō and Getō finally track you down. And they’re not going to let you slip through their fingers for a second time.
word count: ~3,5k
warnings: n/a
Tumblr media
The evening breeze is cool.
You’re sitting on the grassy area, just in front of the small strip of sand on the shore, legs outstretched in front of you, heels digging into the sand. There are cows grazing a stone’s throw away from you, fenced in and kept up by the city council. The newspaper said they’re here annually, every summer from April to late September. Waves lap at the shore.
The hair on the back of your neck rises on its ends. Familiar cursed energy wraps around you like a vice. You don’t look back to meet their eyes, instead you look at the cows. There are a few calves amongst the herd, fluffier than the fully grown cows.
Footsteps approach and a warm body stops right behind you. Warmth emits from him like he’s a furnace and his cursed energy is all too familiar, almost suffocating, and oh, the irony of forgetting how formidable a person the Gojō Satoru is.
“Get up,” he says. His voice is stern. Cold, even. What a contrast. He’s like a siren, luring you in with body heat to chill you to the bone with his words. You ignore him at first, and instead, take a long breath in, hold it for a few moments, then exhale. It does little to soothe the buzzing in your veins and stop the thoughts racing through your head. Too many to keep count of — all of them centered around them. There’s a headache blooming, too.
Slowly, you unfold your legs and stand, dusting the sand off your pants. You turn to him, keeping one foot rooted on the corner of the yellow picnic blanket to keep it from flying off with a gust of wind. You raise your eyes to Gojō, then over his shoulder to where Getō stands, just a few strides away. The bitter taste of shame crawls up your esophagus as your eyes meet for a moment and you quickly avert yours to stare at the Jujutsu High button on Gojō’s uniform. Uniform. Straight from a mission, then. But it’s hard to tell; they have an uncanny ability to evade the blows of the opponent, never looking disheveled — no, not uncanny, a testament to their prowess, of their ranks as Special Grades. The créme de la créme of the jujutsu world.
“Well?” Gojō’s head is cocked to the side ever so slightly, hands in his jacket pockets, eyes obscured by bandages. Still, the feeling of being watched overwhelms you. You level your gaze with his and attempt not to get spooked by the intensity of his gaze and yet you’re unsuccessful. He definitely notices the subtle flinch of your shoulders. So, you raise your eyes to the treeline behind both of them. He calls out your name and you ignore the instinct to look, to give him the satisfaction of yet another flinch.
“I was a danger to everyone around me. So, I ran.” Cool wind from the sea caresses the back of your neck. You grind your foot deeper into the sand as the edges of the picnic blanket curl up. “It doesn't concern you, by the way, so don’t worry your pretty little head about it.”
“It does concern us when you disappear for months!” Gojō argues, swinging his hand to the side.
“How’d you find me, anyway?”
“You took my credit card,” he says, “three, actually.”
You swear under your breath. That fucking donut shop in town, right. Great donuts, no way to pay in cash.
“So you had to run over here? I’m fine, I was fine, everything was fine. You should’ve just moved on with your lives.”
“I think we have a right to know what’s going on, no?” Getō speaks up. Your eyes meet again but this time it’s harder to look away. In fact, you can’t force yourself to avert your eyes. “We tried to do right by Amanai and we’ll extend the same courtesy to you.”
Unlike Gojō, Getō’s voice is soft. It curls around you invitingly, like it wants you to spill all the secrets you keep close to your heart.
“No,” you say. The word is so bitter in your mouth you almost want to drink down handfuls of salty ocean water to taste anything, anything other than that. You ignore the intensity of Gojō’s gaze, ignore the twinge in your body that’s pulling you back towards them but that ache somewhere deep in your bones, the one that wants you to step closer to chase the warmth of human intimacy you’ve deprived yourself of for the past five months — that crawls up your spine and you almost take a step closer. “Just… leave.”
Gojō grabs the collar of your jacket and yanks you up to face him. You hiss a ‘no’, one hand clawing at his bare wrist, toes barely scraping the ground to kick up a clump of grass and dirt. You expect not to reach him, only Infinity, yet you do, and sink your nails into his flesh. He doesn’t even flinch. This is Gojō Satoru, the very peak of everything, he doesn’t skirt around the subject and he doesn’t accept any efforts at skirting around the subject.
“What do I have to do to make you trust us—”
His right hand collides with your left, already reaching for his throat, and fire licks up the length of your forearm. The distinct sound of metal snapping under immense pressure bounces against your eardrums. The next moment, the glint of the evening sun off metal shards, and the next, a piercing pain in your left cheek. Your knees give in.
Three of your fingers are lying on the pasture grass, glowing blue liquid seeping out of each one.
He seems to realize when you do because his grip on you goes slack and your knees collide with the ground. Your vision is blurring with tears as you reach out to gather the pieces of metal that were your fingers only moments ago and stuff them into your jacket pocket because they were organic once. They can be slotted back, right? They’ll be fine, right?
You reach around yourself for the yellow picnic blanket, shake it free of the stray grains of sand, and sloppily wrap it around your left hand. The bright blue liquid begins to seep through the layers almost immediately.
When you stand, you pointedly ignore both Getō and Gojō, sidestep them both without even glancing at them, and begin the trek back to civilization down the forest trail that leads to the daycare at the edge of the woods. Their footsteps, so silent you almost miss them, follow. They don’t speak, either, as if that will make you forget about their presence and the suffocating force of their jujutsu. Your headache is now fully present and making itself known, wrapping around your brain like barbed wire.
The forest trail melts away abruptly into a stone-paved road. It runs along the perimeter of the daycare and diverges in two up ahead: on the left, the daycare itself and its adjacent indoor swimming pool, on the right, more woods and the parking lot.
You continue ignoring your shadows and climb into the passenger seat of your car. Something vaguely human-shaped is sitting in the driver’s seat, its body littered with eyes. It just stares at you as you pull the car door closed.
YOUR DIVINE MAJESTY…
“What now?” You pinch the bridge of your nose and squeeze your eyes shut to clear your vision.
APOLOGIES FOR MY INTRUSION, BUT WOULD IT NOT BE BEST TO HAVE THEM ON HAND? It tightens its grip on the steering wheel for a moment as if it's forming a nervous habit. Maybe. You’re not sure if they can even feel human emotions.
You glance at the side mirror. They’re still standing there, a few feet from the car. They don’t have any intention to move, either, you think.
THEIR DIVINE MAJESTY NEED NOT WASTE TIME OR ENERGY ON COOKING AND CLEANING. THEY CAN FOCUS ON REVERSING THE BARRIER.
“What barrie—”
You bury your face into your free hand with a loud swear. The headache pulses behind your eyes and your vision blurs with tears. Fuck. You push the car door open and slide out—
“You!” A few long strides are all it takes to reach Gojō and you rear your fist back for a swing at his blurry face. Something catches it and you yank yourself out of Getō’s hold, yank yourself away from both of them, and take two steps back. Gravel crunches under your feet. “I told you to leave, but no, you’re Gojō Satoru and you know better than everyone, right?”
“How is any of this my fault?”
“I asked you to leave! If you’d just left, we could’ve all left and gone our separate ways but no, of course not!” You turn on your heel and stomp back to the car, pulling the back door open. “Shut up and get in the car.”
You don’t wait for their answer and climb into the front seat.
They’re willing to hear you out, you’ll give them that. The curse in the driver’s seat growls from its throat when Gojō and Getō sit and buckle in.
“I need a driver, not a dog,” you remind it. It spits a swear under its breath and puts the car into drive. It jostles as it drives over the speedbump at the entrance of the parking lot and you lay your left hand onto your knee.
Blue bleeds through the picnic blanket and stains your pants and fuck, does this mystery liquid even come out of clothes? Can you even throw it into the washing machine or will it carry the disease onto the washing machine? You groan, imagining a washing machine with a sonic cannon mounted on it. What if this thing is corrosive instead, and by the time you arrive home to wash it out, it’s eaten through both fabric and skin, maybe even muscle, or bone? Will it spread there, too? It shouldn’t, it should be non-viral by now, but maybe its virality only applies if it’s hopping host organisms and won’t spread in its’ first host even if it is viral. And fuck if you have to quarantine yourself in Limbo again—
“Hey.”
A hand lands on the junction between your shoulder and neck, digging into it with just enough force to feel relaxing. Getō presses down on the muscle knot and you place your free hand in front of your mouth to stifle the groan that wants to escape. You lean your head to the left, temple resting against the seat headrest to give Getō’s hand more room to work. Human contact is one hell of a drug.
“You’re panicking.”
You make a noncommittal sound in the back of your throat.
“Breathe.”
“We’re trapped here.” The hand that’s moved on to pull the knot out of your shoulder abruptly stops its administrations. “I read the Book of the Damned, I set a boundary spell. It triggered when you grabbed me.” You turn your head slightly to find Gojō in the corner of your eye. “And I have no idea how to undo it.”
“How’d you put it up?” Gojō asks. His voice is even, but it’s missing the edge it had earlier. More than anything, he sounds tired. You shake your head slowly.
“I don’t remember.”
“That’s dumb.”
“Satoru,” Getō says.
“What does the barrier do?” Gojō ignores Getō’s warning and leans forward in his seat. He’s fully in your field of vision now, all-encompassing. There’s something about him that draws the eye.
“Loser dies, winner gets out.” You shrug your shoulders. “I panicked and the Book gave me a spell; ‘s how it works.”
“Stop reading that cursed thing,” Gojō says, falling back into his seat, arms crossed over his chest. You blink once, twice, then turn straight in your seat, too, and pull away from Getō’s warm hand.
The rest of the drive is silent. Street lights are flickering on the farther you drive. Stores are long closed by now, neon, and lit brand signs hanging on the front of the passing buildings. Dusk paints the sky in a soft lavender. June is nice here.
Eventually, the curse behind the wheel parks the car in the half-finished garage adjacent to a small blue house. Silence lingers in the car as it’s shut off, and the key is deposited in your open palm. The drenched rag that was once a yellow picnic blanket squelches in your lap as you adjust your hand and fire licks up your left arm. You stifle the sound of pain that wants to escape, and turn to the curse. It stares at you with the array of eyes littered throughout its entire body.
“Get lost.”
The figure blinks at you with its many eyes and then slowly, like a sandcastle destroyed by the waves, it melts away.
You climb out of the car, digging into your jacket pocket for the house key and spare a moment to curse under your breath. If the barrier really is impenetrable, you’re all stuck here. They will probably refuse a hotel or whatever to keep an eye on you. That means two more copies of the key, more food, more cooking and cleaning, and more reasons for your shitty neighbors to spy on you. All that on top of trying to piece your fingers back onto your hand — a very, very not human hand — maybe you’ll get lucky and your body will reject the repairs and kill you of lead poisoning or something. You stare at the now-dripping ball of fabric. Is there even lead in this?
Pain twinges again when you forget and try to grab the handle with that hand. You pull away with a hiss but the door cracks open nonetheless and you finish the job with the nudge of your foot. They’re so close you can feel the heat of their breaths on the back of your neck and you hurry inside, teeth gritting together to keep yourself from making a stupid comment that will earn you their hovering for the rest of eternity. The door creaks when Gojō pulls it shut behind him and you wince at the sound. You toe your sneakers off and wander into the house. The flowers strung along every interior wall of the house bloom when you approach. They cast just the right amount of illumination without melting your brain into soup.
Gojō and Getō are still lingering in the open hallway, taking in the interior of the house. It’s more spacious than it looks on the outside. There are two doors to their right, one up ahead, right next to the brick oven, and an open kitchen and a living room to their left. The glass coffee table you seat yourself behind is well within their line of sight.
The fingers clink when they hit the glass table. You slowly unwrap the blue-soaked picnic blanket and place it on the farthest end of the coffee table. It leaves a dribble of blue liquid on the glass.
There is movement in the corner of your eye. You ignore it to stare dumbly at the fingers. You place your metal hand on the glass and attempt to align the fingers to their respective stumps. The movement sloshes the blue dribble around and smears it along the glass surface. Can glass be corroded? It would be a pain in the ass to have another glass table delivered.
Getō gathers your hair and ties it back. You fight to keep a sigh from leaving your lips and instead, swallow around the lump in your throat. His touch is soft and doesn’t tug on any strands and you tilt your face down the moment he’s done, ignoring the lurch in your heart when his warm hands leave your skin. A few strands of hair fall in front of your eyes and you huff. The hair dangles back and forth as if it’s mocking you and you narrow your eyes at it.
“You got a headband somewhere?”
“Shelf next to the bathroom sink.” You jerk your chin forward. “Straight across from the front door.”
You watch him until he disappears behind the brick oven and turn back to the table. Your heart shoots into your throat when Gojō’s face appears in front of yours and you realize he’s crouched down on the other side of the table. He moves quietly, you remind yourself. Be aware of your surroundings, you remind yourself.
Gojō picks up one of the fingers lined up on the glass and slowly turns it between his own. He doesn’t say anything for a long time, his attention solely on the metal digit in his hand.
There are hands on your head and you jump again. Getō makes a soothing hush as he fits the headband over your head and then pulls it up over your bangs. He brushes a few stray baby hairs back with his fingers but they spring up again almost immediately.
“Thanks,” you say stiffly and reach to pluck your finger from Gojō.
“What happened?” He asks and you glance up at him just as he’s pulling the bandages over his head. His hair falls down over his eyes. Beautiful eyes — terrifying eyes. You think you might get lost in the depth behind them if you don’t look away immediately. So, you do, and clear your throat.
“Some piece of shit curse user infected me with some sort of transmutation virus; anything organic becomes animate technology.” You wipe away more of the pooling blue liquid, and line the fingers up again. It seems off somehow. You swap the middle and ring fingers. Still off; it’s hard to tell which finger belongs where and you grit your teeth together and swallow the taste of tears in your mouth.
Gojō leans in and carefully swaps the pointer and ring finger. You want to argue, tell him that you know your own body better than he does but this thing buried into your flesh is new and confusing. Inhuman. Maybe his Six Eyes allows him more knowledge than you will ever have.
In the corner of your eye, Getō moves to the space between you and Gojō, and sits down on the rug, too.
This might be the most people this house has seen since you moved in. Something about it feels right, something about it tears a gaping hole into your heart.
The headache pulses behind your eyes again and you squeeze them shut. When you open them, the world is swimming again. You force down the discomfort of Gojō and Getō’s silhouettes fraying at the edges and return your attention to your hand. Where there once was muscle, hidden by layers and layers of blood vessels and skin, there is a layer of softly illuminated cables hidden under a layer of thin metal with grooves and dents that adjusts itself as you move your arm. You take a breath in and wait for your vision to focus again before you pick up a finger and press it against its corresponding stump.
The cables underneath the metal plating mold together with a low hiss. blue liquid dribbles onto the glass tabletop. You repeat the action once, then once more.
Slowly, you crook one finger, then the other, and the third one. It’s not quite the same as your still-human hand, but it’s a feeling of sorts. It even emits warmth. The luminescent cables bend under the movement.
Gojō lets his impulsive thoughts win and reaches out to press a finger against the soft tissue with his finger.
“Do you go around shoving your dick into people’s gunshot wounds, too?” You slap his hand softly and he pulls back.
“How far does it reach?” Getō asks. You purse your lips and shrug your jacket off, and fold it onto your lap. The metal runs all the way up to about mid-bicep, where it burrows under the scarred skin.
Getō’s hand jerks on his thigh, as if he wants to reach out to you. Instead, he balls his hand into a fist around the fabric of his pants until his knuckles turn white. You don’t want to look up to face him, so you pointedly ignore his eyes as you shimmy closer and raise your arm towards him. There’s a moment of hesitation from his end before his fingers uncurl and ghost over your skin. His touch is gentle, like he’s terrified you’ll shatter if he exerts the smallest amount of pressure.
“Did it hurt?” He asks, the pad of his thumb smoothing over the scar tissue.
“Worse than the sorcerer killer.”
His fingers trace the metal plates of your arm, over the exposed cables in the crook of your elbow, all the way down to your hand and the newly re-attached fingers.
“Satoru, have you seen anything like this before?”
Gojō leans in and takes your left hand in his. He turns it one way and then the other, silent all the while. You glance at Getō who shrugs his shoulder minutely.
“Never,” Gojō says finally. He turns your palm to face him and laces his fingers between yours. He gives your hand a squeeze. “But we’ll figure it out. I promise.”

[Drillet Doods #1] Hotspring Bath
Made by Researcher Serif, aka Cat
Tumblr media
Créme & Mousse got themselves quite dirty playing in mud. You decided to kill two birds with one stone and clean up with the drillets so you could all relax in the hot spring you found earlier. it certainly feels heavenly after getting a break from your other kids (read; your squadron).
This initially was supposed to be a simple doodle on how our resident human and the drillets were doin' but then the new update for Ovenbreak came out and welp, hot spring scene it is!
Anyhow, one thing's for sure; they're certainly doin' alright.
Hope u enjoy! _(˵^∇^˵ /) ͡ ゚☆
Also, here's a close up of Mousse bleping (˵σωσ˵)

ㅤㅤㅤㅤミㅤwrite about us insteadㅤ⋆ 。˚ㅤ♡ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤhow do they inspire you ? ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤcyno, tighnari, venti, albedo !
Tumblr media
last post of my 200 special, this has been so so fun to work on ! this is just a little self indulgent part for the rest of my favorites to be fully honest ehe
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ。゚ ⊹ㅤcyno ! ㅤ
cyno, atleast to you, is the kind of man you may compare to a créme brûlée, which you often do. with his hard, seemingly impenetrable facade, in sweet contrast to his tender softness when it comes to you. everything about you makes him melt like putty, and while he's very proud to hint to the public about your relationship because it gives him the right to show off his darling, he would rather let himself get beat up by lowly eremites before admitting it.
one particular thing you do however, is say how you inspire him. this often leaves him asking himself, how does he ? how does he, an amateur to romance and a fool to your playful affections, inspire you, a writer with an admirable knack for words and an excessive talent in flustering him ?
he figures it's the same way you happen to inspire him. the same burst of motivation he gets from your praise and encouragements, the same urge to do his job well so he can get home to your warm embrace earlier. but, it's you, what about you doesn't inspire him ? you're far more special if he does say so himself, but that's the only idea he has.
and he's not that far off. he inspires your drive for work because you admire his, he inspires your pride in creating because he praises everything you show him.
"you're actually serious ?" he questions, still not fully processing that he's an inspiration to you, mostly because he was flustered. "have i ever been ingenuine towards you ?" you retort simply, meeting eyes with rusty red that looked away out of embarrassment. "no, you're always genuine with me." you smiled, "then i hope that answers your question."
basically you inspire each other. but he will always insist that you inspire him far more, and it turns into a light competition between you two.
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ。゚ ⊹ㅤtighnari ! ㅤ
now when it comes to him, it's a very direct, and maybe embarrassing, reason; you have the urge to impress him.
of course, you never fail to do so ! because for tighnari, just the fact that you're a dedicated writer is already impressive to him. it fascinates him when you write, and it's become one of his favorite hobbies to spend a free afternoon reading your pieces.
sometimes you'd retort that he speaks better than how you write, to which he would flick your nose for or something. because really, he means it when he says your writing is gold.
and that was back when he had yet to know that he was a part of the inspiration in your works. when you told him one day while he was sitting in your office during his free hours, his tail wagged so much. him, an inspiration to you ?
the fox doesn't find himself excited or giddy very often, but that moment was one where he couldn't contain himself and he just melts.
"aww, flower, i inspire you ? really ?" his voice is laced with tease, but he doesn't try to hide that he, himself, is flustered. his tail seemed to sway even more when his ears picked up he way you giggled, "of course, nari. i mean it." the way his ears flattened against his head as his face grew even redder, absolutely adorable.
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ。゚ ⊹ㅤventi ! ㅤ
firstly, him, a bard who is constantly searching for inspiration to write his songs, and you, a writer who is also constantly searching for inspiration to write new stories. a match made in heaven he says ! it's such a perfect match really, that alone is enough to inspire one of you to write something, or maybe both of you write something, who's to be certain ?
he loves to read your stories as much as you love to listen to his songs. it's something so precious to him, really. everyday is romantic for the two of you, be it him singing you a horrendously corny song he just thought of on the spot, or you hitting him with a short but romantic haiku that sends an arrow through his heart cupid-style.
there's never a dull moment between the two of you, and that's how he's such a big inspiration to your works ! he first realizes this when he notices familiar scenes in your works, almost based on scenes that happened in real life between the two of you. so when he finally asks you about it, oh how his heart flutters.
"i admit, i make short scenes about things that happen between us in real life. because they just feel so, even in the moment, they really feel straight out of a romantic fairytale." you explain, resting your head against his shoulder as he plucks randomly at his lyre. your words made him pause as his heart skipped a beat. "you're exactly the kind of man i look for just in reading novels, venti." that, that makes him explode. "d'aw !! you mean it, as in, you mean mean it ?!" there are stars and hearts in his eyes simultaneously as he holds your hands in both of his, facing you now.
you smiled, endeared. "i mean mean it, love." you truly have him wrapped around your fingers.
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ。゚ ⊹ㅤalbedo ! ㅤ
he's no stranger to inspiration, he understands it. but, he admits he lacks it.
until you introduced yourself to his life, then suddenly it seemed to have a different meaning. suddenly it seemed to matter more to him. suddenly it felt like more than a certain emotional burst.
he craved it even. that little sensation that drives him to work more, do more, stemmed from the way you praised him. he admired you so much, your work. everything about you screamed at him to impress you too. he never would've thought you felt the same for him.
you find inspiration from him ? how so ?
though he doesn't understand it, to you, many things about him inspires you. his words seem to roll off his tongue like dialogue in a poetic novel, and his appearance itself could match that of a prince charming. he just looks, acts, and sounds poetic, is what you mean.
"i just seem, novel-like, you mean ?" "that's basically what i mean." your explanation was already wordy, but he could only grasp what you meant by the surface. still, it was enough to leave him speechless in the best way possible.

A pretty piano of white high gloss and ivory near the balconies of Art Nouveau overlooking the beauty of Monaco's streets, drapes in rose, fleur-de-lis, and tassels amongst the palette of white, créme and varnish, the bed a mess of linen sheets and pillows where the cashmere throw has fallen to the floor of birch parquet.
"— Tu es très jolie." ꒰ you are so pretty ꒱
Charles' voice is a hushed resonance near your ear, palms with their slight callouses feeling over the curve of your hips through fabric where the both of you lie in the warmth of a late evening. His lips trace your neck, slow and sweet, committing each inch he touches to his endless memory of you.
Hushed laughter with the subtle rasp of his facial hair against your sensitive skin, your fingertips tracing through tousled, brunet tresses as you tilt your head back on the cushions and welcome the slant of his mouth against yours.
You can taste remnants of a vintage wine and dessert's soufflé on his tongue, some silent and unspoken 'I love you' further than just words, welcoming the weight of his figure over yours on the mattress with the sweet sickness of love.
"All mine," He's mumbling the words on you between kisses, thumb meeting the edge of your collarbone in idle caresses near flourishing remnants of rouge and lilac from the evening before, "So pretty, baby."
He does that frequently, repeating his praise—even between different languages at times—until he is certain you will never forget.
Charles Leclerc has never been shy in the prospect of bathing you with the song of his adoration in compliments and sweet nothings, but it only ever seems heightened under the influence of one too many glasses of Côte de Beaune after a quiet, intimate dinner.
You're a breathless, giggling mess of a girl underneath him, grasping his shoulders, feeling the cotton of his ivory shirt fallen unbuttoned, his hand drifting about the silks of your blushing négligée. It is your favourite feeling.
He's so tender when he loves you like this, patient and gentle with the ghost of his palm along your navel and the kiss of his mouth over the arching of your neck as you sigh blissfully and succumb to the hold. The room is quiet and serene where the moonlight dances through the glass, bathing your skin, and you've never felt safer in his presence: his arms drawn around you, the sound of his breathing and his voice.
"Charles—" Tongues meet again in the sensuous intimacy between lovers before you can continue, whatever words soon lost as you melt into the feeling, ankles locked with his about the edge of the mattress, a quietly amorous and drowsy smile on your countenance when he eventually draws away, though only fractionally, and you're staring into those beautiful eyes of his.
"Hm?" He's kissing the corner of your mouth, then the edge of your jawbone, the invitation of your throat. You feel how his hand draws subtly beneath the edges of your garments, little touches of warmth.
"Tell me something." You request quietly, trying to fill the quietude.
There is the whisper of his chuckle against your clavicle, the softness of his voice and his Monégasque accent that curls on each syllable with his consideration, "Well," Kisses, teeth, "There are many things, ma chérie, which I could say to you."
"Mhm..." Your fingers thread through the ends of his hair, admiring the sight of him in the vulnerability of your shared moments. You know that he is doing this on purpose, just as he knows that you're enjoying every second of it, but you laugh a little and indulge. "Tell me how much you love me."
He smiles at this, leaning his head down a fraction to touch the side of your cheek on his, breaths melting together in synchrony like your hand that entwines with his own on the sheets.
"How could I ever put it into words?" The softest of pecks, and he breathes in the saccharine lull of your perfume until a thought seems to manifest until he shifts over you once more, punctuates his words with another touch of his lips on yours, and reveals handsome dimples, "You know, I'll show you instead."

Sablé Cookie x Singer/Songwriter Reader
Summary: You used to be a homeless singer-songwriter wandering the streets of Créme Republic. But then Sablé, the youngest member of the Convocation of Elders and a well-known politician, caught wind of your performance and loved your voice. Next thing you know, she's offering you a spot in her mansion. Shocking, I know. Now, you two are partnering together: Sablé on music, you on vocals. Who knows, they may be more to this sweet partnership that meets the eye.
My age hc for her is probably in her mid to late thirties or early forties and nobody can change my mind.
Right from the start. She's enamored by your voice - sweet yet powerful, and can't believe you haven't had any vocal training. It's like you've been blessed by the Divines themselves. Together, you jam out songs inspired by mythology or spin tales like bards, minus the alcoholic tendencies and split into two.
When she's not busy, she loves having you around, whether it's watching her paint or just relaxing after a day filled with meetings and politics. Honestly, hanging out with you is Sablé's favorite pastime.
She especially loves watching the sunset with you, but sometimes she doesn’t know the look in your eyes softening as you gaze at her. Not even the sunset could compare to her beauty…wait- wait, no- you two were just friends! Friends who collaborate on songs and stuff! No time for lovey-dovey things, hahaha…
A lot of the times when she’s busy at work, you tend to go all out and overwork yourself, brainstorming ideas to impress her and show you're worthy of her friendship. But deep down, she genuinely cares about you and hates seeing you stress out. So don't be surprised if you wake up to find her tucking you in with breakfast and tea – that's just her way of showing she cares.
And that little kiss on the forehead she gave you was so friendly I know….THEY WERE ROOMMATES…
As time went on, you began to see your bond with her in a whole new light. One evening, as you both stood on the balcony watching the sunset, you mustered up the courage to take her hand and awkwardly confessed your love, feeling your cheeks flush as you waited nervously for her response, fearing rejection. But it turns out, your worries were completely unfounded.
“I think I’m in love with you, and I’m so sorry if this made it awkward or anything…I just—“
You were silenced as she intertwined her fingers with yours and pulled you in for a little kiss on the lips. It only lasted about two seconds, but so much happened in that moment. Sablé merely smiled back and laughed.
“I knew, dear. Just because my hair covers my eyes doesn’t mean I didn’t catch you glancing at me every time we watched the sunsets together…”
“So…do you think this would be a good idea for a new song? Two people from completely different backgrounds falling in love over time?”
“Perhaps. Maybe I could also teach you how to play music as well.”
“I’d like that. I’d like that a lot.”
And then they kissed again and got married and nothing bad happened haha
