I really love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette (lots of neutrals and pinks and mauves) and I have a few singles of super shock pigments from colourpop that I love but I don't have them here so idk their names. I knew I wanted to do something more psychology-related.  Because that’s how they got together originally, and it’s always the most interesting part of their relationship.  They’re both so brilliant.  But that was also the hardest part for me.  Writing them is really high-level, so I have to do research and it takes a lot of thought and effort on my part just to get the dialogue right.  So I’m glad you liked it!  The plot was tricky, because I never know how many ‘others’ I want to add in.  But Niles was perfect for this one because of course he’d be the one to figure out that Lilith had literally trained her husband with sex.  It’s nice to have another brain on the case with them.  I wanted to include something with Roz because she’s the natural master of relationships and sex, but it just never really fit in to what I wanted.

what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: They watch a lot of documentaries.  Lilith likes reality tv because she uses it as a field study.  Frasier has NOVA on season pass and they watch it together.

who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Frasier, just because he gets a little panicky while Lilith is calmer about these things.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Frasier loves to get her jewelry, which she rarely wears; Lilith gets him rare books and tickets to things they can see together

who kissed who first?: I think we all know how that happened (Frasier said he would kiss her and then she jumped him for taking too long)

who cusses more?: Lilith does when she’s really upset; Frasier finds it uncouth and tries his best not to and hates when she does it

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Frasier would panic, Lilith would panic after the fact because she’s very calm in a crisis.

Any headcanons that you have for Jack/Irina that you haven't written about before? If you could imagine the perfect AU situation for Frilith, what would it be? I know that you did research before on Abbey's wedding dress...I forget, did you ever find a pic reference for her ring?? If not, go for it. Also, headcanon a little about a vacation they took--early in the marriage, before kids, maybe a European vacation while Jed was at LSE. That will hopefully keep you busy, any/all of them.

JI headcanons: Laura was always a heavy and peaceful sleeper, while Jack has always been a light sleeper, but after they got back together, Irina tosses and turns all the time, and Jack is able to actually sleep through the night; Laura always loved Tchaikovsky and was so excited when Sydney got to be a sugarplum in The Nutcracker, and for the rest of his life Jack hated that ballet and ballet in general because his memories were so tainted and that was the one thing he never got over, even after they got back together; that’s really all I’ve thought about because now I just usurp your headcanon, Amy ;)

Frilith AU: Frasier is a university professor who is universally hated by his students, but he is convinced they all love him.  His ego and his ridiculously high standards for assignments annoys them.  And no one laughs at his jokes.  Except Frasier.  Lilith is a researcher working in the lab at the university.  She is supposed to teach, but gets extremely nervous in front of a lecture hall, so she usually is able to claim her research requires too much of her time so she can get out of teaching.  They meet at a staff meeting when they argue about which theories should go into the department curriculum.  They end up helping each other – Lilith sits in on Frasier’s class and tells him what he’s doing wrong.  And he helps her become more confident in front of a room of 20 somethings.  And they live happily ever after.

Bartlet vacation: So I’m writing their honeymoon right now (hopefully I’ll finish it and post it soon), but that’s actually the only vacation they get to have before they have kids because Abbey gets pregnant on the honeymoon.  According to my timeline, they move to London in July of 1967 and Liz is born April of 1968.  Therefore, this will be answered by my next Bartlet History fic, whenever I get the chance to finish it.

Frilith, high school teachers, you pick the subjects. J/I, judges.

Frasier teaches English and spends class time waxing philosophic about various authors and books and so forth to the extent that the students nearly always fall asleep.  Lilith is a chemistry teacher and is extremely strict and a ruthless grader and all the students are terrified of her.  Lilith stands outside the open door to Mr. Crane's classroom to listen to him speak a few times a week.  Mr. Crane always stares at Ms. Sternin from across the teacher's lounge while she reads scientific journals and ignores everyone else.  And after everyone goes home but before the janitors come to clean, they get it on in her lab room.

Jack and Irina are both federal judges on the 9th circuit.  She is extremely liberal, advocating progressive free speech policies, and he is extremely conservative, advocating harsh criminal penalties.  They have loud, vicious arguments in chambers about the cases at bench.  The fight usually ends with them making passionate love.  The clerks always try to figure out what's going on when they stop yelling.  They assume it comes to blows, because they hate each other so much.  One of them always writes a majority opinion while the other writes a crushing dissent.

5. one night stand and falling pregnant au

The front door opened at Cheers. A small, harsh, buttoned-up woman walked in.  Frasier looked up and dropped his beer in shock.  He scrambled over to her and practically shoved her out the door to the small landing by the stairs.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" he asked.

Her frown deepened.  "I needed to speak with you.  You have not returned my calls.  I had to bribe your secretary to tell me where you spend your time."

"What could you possibly need to speak to me about, Dr. Sternin?  There is a reason I haven't returned your calls, in case you didn't notice."

"We got horribly drunk and did something we both regret.  I understand that.  But it still leaves the fact, Dr. Crane, that since we were too drunk to prevent our base, animalistic conduct, we were also too drunk to consider any protection."

Frasier realized what she was saying.  "Oh my...you're not..."

"I'm pregnant."

"And you're sure..."

"Yes.  Contrary to my actions with you after the phobia conference back in May, I am not, for lack of a better term, a 'loose woman.'"

"I didn't think you were, but..."

"Do you think you could possibly manage to string together a full sentence?" she asked angrily.

"Well I'm sorry I'm not taking this more eloquently, Dr. Sternin!"

"You might want to call me Lilith from now on."

"Oh my god."  He sank down and rested his face in his hands.  Frasier mumbled something into his hands.

"I beg your pardon?"

"I suppose we should get married."

Lilith sat down on the stairs beside Frasier and placed a small, pale hand on his shoulder.  "I didn't come here to get anything from you.  I simply wanted to tell you.  Clearly this is too much for you, though I must say that I expected better from a man of your stature.  I will make my own decisions and I will take care of myself."  She stood up.  "I apologize for the inconvenience, Dr. Crane."  With that, she left.

Frasier went back into Cheers.  Sam noticed the look on his face.  "You okay, Fras?"

"I'm going to be a father."

Eeeekkk!!!! This was SO ADORABLE!!!!!! Please let the baby be a girl!! Remember that episode about Frederick’s bris? That last bit of the episode was so cute!! Anyway, just putting that out there..wanna give me a hint on the name? ;) Loving it!!! <3

So we're going to have two babies very soon.  Both will have middle names starting with E.  Sam and Rebecca's kid will have a name very important to Boston and to Sam.  New baby Crane's name will be very much be in the same classy vein of Frederick (but much better because I fix things).  That's all I'll say.  Next chapter will come very soon!

So based on the original idea from aboxfullofdarkness and with encouragement from lalalyds2, I've started a chapter fic where Sam and Rebecca have a child.  I've made it a Sam/Rebecca AND Frilith fic because I'm me and Frlilith always need more fic in the world.  I've got two short chapters up so far.  Hope you guys like it!  I hope to get more soon.

Thank you, darling I totally don't think about this stuff at every moment of every day or anything.  Nope.

Give me a ship and I’ll tell you:

Who cooks: Lilith tries to cook.  Bless her, she really does.  But unless she's painstakingly following a recipe, she's a bit useless.  She does, however, succeed in pouring cereal and putting bread in the toaster each morning.  Frasier is a fabulous gourmet cook, so he tries as often as possible to prepare dinner for them.  But they go out to eat at least a few times a week.

Who does the laundry and other chores: Lilith.  Frasier is rather finicky, but Lilith knows him better than anyone else, so she's integrated his whims into her routine around the house.

How many children do they have:  Just one, Frederick.  (Though I'm working on a story right now that'll give them another!)

Who’s more dominate: Lilith.  She scares Frasier.  And he likes it.  She takes control most of the time, but they do work together on most things.  Neither one makes decisions for the family without consultation from the other.

Favorite nonsexual activity:  Going to the opera or the theatre or the symphony.  Frasier and Lilith both have a great appreciation for the finer things in life, which is one of the things that drew them to each other.  They both enjoy dressing up and absorbing the beauty of the arts together.

Their favorite place to be together:  At their home.  Because anywhere else, they must face the pressure of others, be it from everyone at Cheers or Frasier's family.  Only when they're in their own home with just them can they both truly be themselves.

Any traditions: Christmas Eve is always spent at Cheers with their friends, as is later on Christmas Day after they've all opened their presents.  Freddy always likes to show off what he's received to his Uncle Sam.  Chanukkah, however, is Lilith's holiday.  She makes a big deal out of making sure that Freddy knows all the blessings over the candles and the story of the holiday.  Frasier plays dreidel with him while Lilith makes latkes.

Their “song”:  What I Did For Love from A Chorus Line.  I'm not going to explain any further because I'll get too emotional and I can't really handle that right now. [x]

What they do for each other on holidays: Valentine's Day is always fun.  Frasier always tries to outdo himself for her.  She does the same for him on his birthday.

Where did they go for their honeymoon:  London and Paris.

Where did they first meet: A psychiatric conference, after which Frasier asked her out.  It didn't go well.  But...well...we know how it ended up :)

Any pets:  Certainly not.  Neither of them puts up with mess.  Though Lilith does love her research rats.  She gave a baby one to Freddy when he was old enough to take care of it himself, but that's all she allows.

What do they fight over: EVERYTHING.  Every so often, their stubbornness gets the better of them.  They run into problems most when one or the other (or both) forgets that their marriage is more important than being right.

Do they go on vacations, if so where:  Usually Europe or sometimes to somewhere tropical.  They've done weekends in Cape Cod and Nantucket, but big trips are usually spent in relaxing or sophisticated places.  They travel most often for work-related conferences and such, but they don't go together for most of those.
