Lemongrass Creme Brulee I am a diehard chocoholic, whenever I order dessert it's usually the most chocolatey thing in the menu. I was dubious about trying this but the waiter insisted on trying this. Looking back, I am glad I listened to him. This wasn't too Sweet, it was light and rich with the fragrance of lemongrass. DICED CHICKEN WITH ASSORTED PEPPERS - spicy chicken sauteed with red bell peppers and crushed pepper corns Nobody actually recommended me "Friends of Pho", it was purely fate that led me here. I was out for a movie with a colleague, and the movie was seriously disappointing. After the movie, we both wanted chinese and we located this place on ZOMATO. From outside, this place didn't look inviting at all, but once we were inside, it was uphill from there. The decor was very authentic, there was a very faint traditional chinese music playing, the staff were friendly and courteous and ready with suggestions. The dishes we had was entirely chosen by them, and they delivered on every level Normally, I would have imagined that a chicken with pepper and crushed pepper would be too hot, but this dish was awesome. It had umami taste, a tangy spicy flavor with a background hit of hotness. Tje meat itself was soft and perfectly seasoned. FOP SPECIAL CRYSTAL VEG DIMSUM On my first visit to Friends of Pho, my foodie companion had this firm notion that it's disrespectful to visit a Chinese restaurant and not order dumplings. So we ordered some veg and non veg dumplings. I have to say, these were amongst the best I ever had. Tangy, spicy but not too much with an undertone of sweetness, and it had awesome texture.
