Okay so!! For my friends(and my bf), I enjoy including their own inserts in my own story. For toh, Laika is part of a small rebellion group called "Visions and Variety," named after Hexside's old art club that she used to run. (Sidenote: it's why they all have black chokers, it's like their group thing)

Here's the two most important members + their palismen! (Click for better quality)

They're the s/is of my brother @loogiballoogi (Milo they/he) and my boyfriend @swapthewoz (Axel he/they). They ship with Eda(romo) and Lilith(QP) respectively!

Rambles about them and their palismen under the cut! Be warned about length haha

Milo does a mix of bard and plant magic, and is considered by most as a protector to any and all palismen. It's how they got their scars, which they're proud of and show them off often. Protecting palismen is actually what got him his own, Little D. They has a particular interest in the glyphs Luz has discovered as well, dabbling a bit in it themself. He's a season 1 character who later takes Lilith's place in season 2 when she leaves the house for good. He and Eda are kind of pinning idiots, Eda the only one out of the two who knows about the other's crush. She doesn't want to confess just yet however, she wants to wait until things are less hectic.

Little Dude is an extremely old Palisman, one of the first ones ever made. He was made by accident, and his original owner has passed long long ago. He was under the Bat Queen's care for a while, though one day while some of his fellow palismen were getting captured, they tried to fight against it and save their friends, only to fail and be put in the same cage. They ended up being saved however, by Milo. During the scuffle they got badly injured, to which Little D got the Bat Queen and asked for help. After all of that was done with, the two bonded and he became their palisman. They were never named, so Milo calls them Little Dude, or Little D for short. His personality is best described as chaotic good.

Axel does a mix of potions and construction, and he spends his time saving wild witches and leading them outside the city. He lost part of his arm long ago, as he used to have a sigil and tried to become the new potions coven head. It, obviously, went wrong, but on the plus side losing the sigil allowed him to practice wild magic again. He's a huge nerd about history and astrology, hench his jacket buttons. He's a season 2 character and gets a full episode with Lilith, Luz, and King. Sometime later, Lilith ends up bringing him to the Clawthorne family home and he ends up living there for awhile. He's also the leader of the current V&V, as Laika felt like she shouldn't be in charge and Milo didn't want to be either.

Icicle was a complete surprise to Axel. After living with the family for awhile, Gwen and Dell seeing just how deep he and Lilith's care was for each other, they decided to officially make him part of the family. Before the decision was made, Lilith shared a book about human birds with Axel, his favorite being a blue lovebird. Sometime later, the Clawthornes pretended that they had a specific request for a blue lovebird palisman, and that they wanted Axel to help carve it. After it was carved and painted, Lilith ended up lightly prodding Axel about what he wanted to do in life, to which he said he wanted to rediscover the lost history of mixed magic. That makes the bird spring to life, and Lilith reveals that surprise! She's his Palisman! Welcome to the family! After some happy tears, he names the little bird Icicle. She's an extremely curious bird, sometimes getting distracted by the simplest things. She feels like she needs to investigate every little thing, think like ADHD the bird

in 1999, at 20 years old, dude was going delirious in a random rice field in the philippines. then he bumped into mater, who was trying to tip over a kalabaw. the two quickly became friends and became pen pals :]

then, in 2017, he bought a random can of gas at a convenience store and ended up winning the grand prize in a raffle. the grand prize? a date with chick hicks (who joel didnt know cuz dude doesnt care about sports at all). after intentionally annoying the hell out of each other on their date, the two started hanging out as friends. eventually they became QPPs and kept their relationship open

a few months later, joel & chick went to a dinner party for retired piston cup racers and thats where joel first met strip weathers (and fell in-love at first sight lol). btw joel, chick, strip, and lynda are in a polycule :>

3. How do other characters generally feel about Sal?

So most of the other characters are just his clansmen, and they’re a lil cautious of Sal just cuz they know what he’s capable of. But overall they do respect him as their second in command of sorts. He can be funny. He’s not always the best at planning tho and that’s why he’s not in Fuyuhiko’s position among other things. He’s done things to make the men angry that’s for sure.

At first tho, they probably thought he was reckless and in over his head, starting out with the clan when both he and Fuyu were 18 and Fuyu hadn’t taken over yet.

If I was gonna answer this question like how would Sal come off to a stranger, it’d be:

Impressive, charming, fiercely loyal, kind to the right people. Clumsy, violent, impulsive.

9. Who are Sal’s closest friends?

Well, Kazuichi for one. Even tho he’s a QPP, he’s still a friend whom Sal has lots of laughs with.

I’m sure Sal also has a few really good friends within the clan too. I’ve never gave them names, but. It’s a thing 😂

Also, he has a childhood best friend whom he meets again later in life, and that happens to be my boyfriend’s DR S/I. We’re having a lot of fun with them. ❤️

10. How do the other characters feel about Sal and Fuyuhiko’s relationship?

Well they certainly didn’t approve at first. The two of them had to hide it until Fuyu became clan head, to which they made it clear that anyone who disapproves will be shot.

Ngl Kaz was jealous when Fuyu found out that he and Sal had been uh….yeah. There was a point where those two are at odds.

Hey! I was wondering if you had any knowledge, experience and/or resources on the dynamic of platonic life partners? Like, what makes them different (or maybe similar) to qprs? There's one f/o I have that I don't wanna label as a qpp, but we have a much deeper commitment than a normal platonic relationship.

heyaaa! although I don't have any resources on the topic, I might just talk a bit about how I decided what term to use for some of my f/os in case that helps

to be honest, the main point is to choose whatever label you feel like fits it the best depending on the character and you and how you imagine your selfship. for example, in some of the sources of my f/os i love many characters so much but even so there's one that sticks out to me and I focus on them more for whatever reason, that bit of a different feeling even though it's still platonic it's what makes me consider some of them as queerplatonic f/os. we still vibing, still platonic and all, and whatever we do depends on the f/o and how I imagine the relationship because a qpr can be however you want it to be. sometimes i even think we wouldn't really label it in their world, but in order to explain it to others the term queerplatonic seems to fit just right or be the best concept to compare it to

on the other hand, I do also have one f/o I consider a platonic life partner and sometimes even more f/os depending on how I'm daydreaming about my platonic f/os (the urge to spend life with the golden deer man, maybe even just spending months travelling with some of them and then meet the others again, just sharing life and frequently taking each other into account). in this case, I choose to describe it like that because I don't want to define it as a different relationship. we are good friends who are so close we are basically family and decided to be a reference to the other throughout life somehow, for example, like a home to go back to (this is how I see my platonic life partner f/o, Yoimiya, especially because my S/I would travel a lot). we are willingly sharing our life with each other somehow and out of platonic appreciation, so even if it can also look however you want just like it happens with qprs, it does have a different feeling to me, maybe a bit more casual somehow, but I guess some people could even consider a same character to be both. as i said at the beginning, it depends on how you feel about it and what label you think suits it the best. i hope this could help somehow! sorry for taking so long to answer it!

I'd say once Felix is confident, he's good at flirting- the caveat being that it takes some time! Mostly, he's shooting for what he thinks is fitting, or the comfort zone of another. If he has to throw them off, it better be with what they like- perhaps an adjustment of positioning, the hem, or something if they're visual. He doesn't advertise it socially, but Felix really likes hugs. His are either strong, or 'bubbly' and energetic- maybe lightly patting/shaking the other. If appropriate, it can turn into more- a massage, kisses, grooming, etc. As a side note some of his pokemon love hugs, so he will give to them!

Generally speaking, Felix has an appreciation for the world, first. The kind of Agape love that he doesn't want to let go of. Love as a friend. But! as displayed by the ships here, he's got romantic and sexual interest! For now, the most 'canon' love interests game wise I have are N, Arven, and Todd Snap; those're the ones that 'make sense' without extra plotting. Felix also has sort of mild celebrity crushes on Raihan, Siebold, and maybe Hassel and Larry (tho Paldea seems to be much more in-person style than from afar tbh.) The F/Os list otherwise lists, but as a self insert blog, selfshipping is a safe bet- all of the muses here have some sort of ship w/ Felix, romantic or platonic.

My other muses are generally the initiators- but he loves them! for Pokeverse he's canon with Volo, Ingo, and Arven- technically also my Emmet, but I haven't sat down and actually written out 'what' the dynamic is for that doc In Words for Emmet; i know some of the scenarios, just need to feed his muse. similar deal with my inactive Adaman- though only the vagueness of a ship is in mind, no real scenarios yet. I was gonna make icons and shit but got lazy. the delay here is mostly no muse;;;

it's hard to start or confess, but easy after that! As soon as things are cleared up or established, he will say 'i love you' a lot. I think I've said it to my husband about 5-10 times unprompted alone in the past 3 hours.

Pet names are a weakness, and some more than others. I can't say he's talented at giving them, or maybe not yet....but he melts at receiving them. If he comes up with something, then yeah, definitely uses pet names.

F !! i think he’s the only new one. i really don’t think i’ve gotten into many new interests this year, just revived interest in old ones. (i DO have a new crush who i’ve not talked abt here yet…)

i have had an incredibly topsy turvy year and my f/os have helped me so much. i don’t want to get too personal or sad but. they’ve helped a lot. especially my familial f/os — looking at you muriel !!!! really really weird stuff going on with my irl mom, fictional mom makes everything a little bit better :)
