Hear me out: the bots are basically incognito to other humans, and in the show, we get to see unnamed citizens doing alien hunting and posting sightings online. What would it be like to be a person living in that timeline with giant robot aliens roaming the Earth? Would there be PSAs? Would there be someone trying to uncover Agent Fowler's work for confirmation on alien life? Would there be blurry, tape recorded clips of fights happening in the wilderness? It would be an interesting concept!
