A visit to the much loved fine dining restaurant at the @peninsulagrand turned out to be quite a royal affair. Such an inviting & cosy seating space ,light Indian instrumentals in the background and the sunlight shining in through the curtains made for quite a leisurely lunch ( out of the super extensive Indian Mughlai , North Indian & Chinese menu they got). Starting with the Saundhe Aloo and the Naram Dil Kebab ( gooey soft mashed seasoned paneer batter fried with spiced cornflakes), it was safe to say the meal would end pretty well. The Goan Fish Curry was absolutely the bright spot- so well made with a smooth, really delicious gravy. The Rajasthani Soola Kebab and the Daal Makhani were other highlights - being so light, fingerlicking good and easily one of the better Dal Makhani's I've had this side of town. YUM! Ended it with the usual suspects - Rasmalai and Gulab Jamun. 🍨 Highly recommend this spot for a happy, bright fam-jam over lunch or dinner.
