everyone on IG is jumping shark to cara because it features glaze and has a similar gallery setup but their AI policy is kinda weird (like they condemn AI but then say if AI becomes more ‘regulated’ and people are alerting their work is AI when posting on the site that it’ll be okay? what??) plus i don’t think their server can currently handle this many new users so it’s likely to get slow and wonky the more people join. sooo if i make an art only account anywhere new i’ll try bsky if not i guess i’m glitching and glazing all my art from now on? at least on certain websites?

but ofc. why should artists have to constantly make new accounts for our work just because sm websites are promoting AI and/or won’t easily if at all allow opting out of being their AI engines. why should we have to constantly have our hard work undermined whilst simultaneously being stolen from us. why should we have to glitch and overfilter our work for public consumption just so it can’t be as easily read by a machine.
