This is the second album from French death metallers Ad Vitam Infernal. Le Ballet des Anges contains 33 minutes of old-school death metal brutality. If you like bands such as Morbid Angel, Immolation, Hate Eternal, and Deicide, then there’s a good chance you’ll like what Ad Vitam Infernal unleash on their new record. Ad Vitamin Infernal’s sound is classic and timeless. Despite essentially being a product of the 90s in style, Le Ballet des Anges is the sort of album you could imagine coming out at any point in that last 20+ years or so and it would feel right at home. It’s albums like these that I can’t help but enjoy; solid, timeless, adrenaline-soaked death metal.
