okay so i’m staying pretty canon to bobbi’s character on aos, met jemma undercover before being introduced to the team, has a hard time distinguishing between og shield and shield 2.0 but eventually proves her loyalty to the team, kidnapped by ward, eventually leaves shield with hunter.

and so that’s where we’ve left off, where bobbi’s story begins, or rather where it takes off. the first few months were extremely hard for bobbi. she had been apart of shield in one way or another for such a large portion of her life, and being forced to resign had never been in the plan. she still had hunter with her, but he had never felt such an unwavering duty towards the agency as bobbi had.

shield had never been a safe job, what with field work and missions and life or death situations, but through it all shield had become something of a home to her, so much so that it had even come between hunter and her a number of times; in the end, she had shield when she didn’t have anyone or anything else, and losing that safety rocked bobbi to her core.

it took some time, but bobbi found her way. she no longer had dreams of siberia and androvich. she no longer woke up to her gun already in her hands. she no longer waited for the mission she knew wasn’t going to come.

it’s in new york city that bobbi finally finds something of a home. in a shoebox studio apartment with worn out furniture and fading wallpaper. it’s not much, with nothing but half empty takeaway cartons in her fridge and threadbare sheets on her mattress, but it’s the closest to home she’s been in a long time.

but even in a city as vast and populated as new york city, bobbi still wonders if the secrets she keeps hidden under that stained mattress will remain hidden. it’s been five months she’s been in this city, and she’s not sure how much longer she can keep the truth from coming out. you can’t run forever, after all.

FACTS

So Kara was recently in Pace Federal Penitentiary. She had gone due to her protests about a future elected official and how she broke in to steal secret documents regardless of the consequences of the actions she took to get there. She remained from 2016 until a month ago when she finally heard about New York’s policies and she broke out of prison. She packed her bags and took her mom to New York with little notice. Here she decided to start her schooling again and try to be as normal as possible.

She is still purple and tries to pretend she doesn’t notice or think it’s strange. She’s not actively self-conscious about it if it’s not a topic of discussion, but the moment it is she’s uncomfortable. If you offered her a cure for it, she’d drink it in a heartbeat.

Honestly, Kara has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She invested time and planning into breaking out, but now that she is she’s just there. She is going to school online and hoping to come up with something.

Her mother is overly protective at this stage. She’s worried that her daughter will do something wrong or get caught, but she is trying to be respectful. Especially with her daughter’s history of doing things without thinking.

heavily based off of lauren strucker from the gifted. i don’t like to see her as a different portrayal at all.

lauren’s an intelligent, altruistic mutant that’s got a penchant for knowing where trouble is and ALSO has a knack for avoiding it unless those she loves are somehow involved in it. she’d do anything for those she loves.

lauren is nowhere near apologetic for what she is. she’s proud of being a mutant, she’s proud of her powers, she’s PROUD of what she can do for others. she’ll never apologize for it.

meet elara song !! the only person i put a bio up for bc i don’t want to write this shit.

- so!! elara was born to two mutants, both her mom and dad are mutants.

- so her parents were on the board for a large corporation, and for their entire childhood, and adulthood, they managed to keep this quiet, that they were mutants.

- elara has one younger sister btw. who should be about 2 or more years younger than her. - when elara was 16, to protest for mutant rights an event called 7/15 occurred.

- it began as peaceful protests for mutants, and was supposed to be a rights march, her parents helped to organise the event, and even came out saying that they were mutants, basically ending their careers effectively.

- at the protests her parents were killed, however, her sister and her survived, as well as a large group of kids. now this is about the time that the brotherhood and the xmen disappeared for a bit i’d imagine?

- so elara and her sister are now angry, and have nowhere to live, and their parents are dead. well, except the xavier’s are around, but they don’t know that.

- so elara, her sister, and like three others, get together and basically start a mutant terrorism group, which elara stays apart of for a while.

- they begin to get too much government attention, and are actually put on a government watch list bc of this. especially since elara basically destroys things, melts metal, explodes lights, rots food. things just generally fall apart where she’s concerned.

- they end up getting ahold of her sister, and elara, if anything, loves her sister, like will do anything for the girl. so she strikes a deal, saying that she has more pull and that she’s the one actually killing and destroying, her sister’s an innocent in all of this.

- so she trades herself in at about 19 years old so her sister can get out and go live a normal life. she actually makes her promise her that she would live a new life.

- elara is now in jail/mutant prison, basically being tortured for information, and her sister, is now angry about elara’s sort of arrest, sort of inevitable death, and continues to be apart of the mutant terrorist underground.

              - god. this takes forever to tell

- elara eventually makes it out bc that group breaks into the prison to break out other people, at this point they think that elara is dead actually, she’s been gone for about 2 years and no one’s heard from her? so this is a pretty safe assumption to make tbqh. i mean… i’d make it too.

- so elara makes it out, but instead of going back to her sister, she basically goes ‘fuck this. i don’t want to do this anymore. i’m 21? i want to be happy and live a happy life with calm happy things’ 

- six months later, her sister has found out that she’s actually alive. surprise! and is v v po'ed that she didn’t come back to live and fight with their past organization.

- oh! by the way? at this time elara is living in france, has a girlfriend, and runs an orphanage. they’re literally, one of the most fucking adorable couples ever, as for her limp? that developed while she was in prison, they tried to figure out how her powers worked, a thing went haywire, and she rotted her own cells so now her leg sorta doesn’t work anymore.

- but elara’s sister goes ‘i bet i know how to bring her back to our side! you know what i’ll do? i’ll kill her gf, make it look like the government did it, and that’ll make her angry enough to join us again! this is a great idea!'

- however, the government has also found her, so they go to the orphanage and kill all the kids bc they think they’re being trained for her past group/are mutants. so elara comes home one day to see her babies and sorta wife, dead.

- and she’s fucking angry at this point. she joined back up with her sister, and ended their group ( her sister should still be alive btw... just... hiding out ), and elara makes amends with the government, and the day before she’s supposed to enter prison for the acts she committed, she runs aways and gets a new identity.

- elara changes her accent to an british one, hides out in nyc, and now essentially just chills. she managed to get high school credentials from someone and enrolled herself in college, saying she took a while to get the money to go to college, and now she’s on her third year of college.

ayyy lovebugs i’m just going to slide right on here with a quick intro. my name is kayla, or kay, call me whatever makes your heart happy. even if you call me trash because you really might be right. i’ll be playing miss southern sassypants rogue here. i’ll be playing the comic take on her, not the movie version. it’s a preference, though if anyone is playing a movie version and wants to adapt a plotline to her from that, i’m more than happy to talk it out and make it work ! basically i love plots so whatever gets us there okay.

keeping in trend with everyone else, you can find a lot of the background information on rogue through wiki. a few things to note though, my rogue is still incapable of touch. i know with the comics she goes through periods of control and not, but i’d rather have her start with no control and let that be a character progression to play out if it fits the storyline. she’s currently with the x-men and doing her thing there. so basically if you want to plot, feel free to slide into my dm’s at any time !!

Hey all! So Molly is my baby and I love her dearly, so I’m gonna be combining the comic/TV canon!

Molly was born to Alice and Gene Hernandez. Her middle name- Alice’s maiden name- is Hayes. They were geologists, and telepathic mutants. When Molly was born, she was tested for the mutant gene, but this test came back negative. 

When Molly was young, the Hernandez’ decided to put together a plot to overthrow the rest of Pride- with the exception of the Yorkes- and take all the power for themselves. Leslie Dean and Jonah caught them, and they were killed. Molly went to live with the Yorkes, and grew up with Gert as a sister.

She is a dancer, and loves music and performing. She’s still very young, but she has a lot of confidence.

Around the time that the Pride’s Machinations came to a head, Molly started going through changes. These changes were presumed by most-including, for a time, to be her periods starting- but in fact were her mutant powers developing. It’s questionable as to how exactly she ‘became’ a mutant, as her powers came about after Wanda said the three words- ‘no more mutants’- but she was not considered a Light, and has nothing to do with Hope Summers.

She LOVES Wolverine. She wants to marry him when she grows up. She’s passionate and driven, but she also... wants her mommy and daddy back, even if she can’t really remember them.

Molly is super strong- possibly stronger than Wolverine- and has invulnerability.

 heyo! i’m spence and this is the one and only loki. ngl, i’m super pumped for this group. below the cut is some general info about the god of trash

kay so first of all, loki is genderfluid and has two forms. basically loki switches between his masculine (he/him) and feminine (she/her) forms pretty seamlessly. they’re both him, and he doesn’t really dwell on it. although he more often presents as his male form, for her feminine form i’ll be using the wonderful fc of adelaide kane

so now onto his history ! it’s pretty confusing, but to simplify it:

the old, totally evil loki died. dead. gone.

but, through his trickery, he arranged it so that he would be reincarnated in the form of a little boy.

this boy was pretty innocent and kind, wanting to right the wrongs of his former self. eventually the young boy gained the trust of nearly everybody, and was pure cinnamon role status. 

but, an echo of the old loki existed. and, through trickery, the echo convinced the young loki to sacrifice himself. so the echo, which is the current loki, essentially murdered his child self and took over his body.

and while this loki is an echo of the old, evil loki, he still wants to be better. he doesn’t want to go down the path of his former self. 

o, and he’s super guilty over murdering kid loki.

for awhile he joined the young avengers but that’s sorta an on again off again thing.

rn he’s sorta just doing whatever, helping people as he sees fit and binging lots of netflix.

I HEAR THEY’VE BEEN LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY FOR ( ONE YEAR ) AND SOMETIMES THEY GO BY ( N/A ). AS SEEN ON ( MARVEL’S RUNAWAYS ), SOMETIMES SHE CAN BE ( DOMINEERING ), BUT THEY’RE ALSO ( ANALYTICAL ). THESE DAYS THEY SEEM TO BE AFFILIATED WITH ( PRIDE ).

tina minoru was a young japanese-american woman. her parents came to america, seeking a better life than what they had back in japan. tina grew up fluent in both english and japanese, as well as knowledge of both english and japanese alphabet systems (she learned cyrillic, amongst other languages as she delved into the mystic arts more). growing up, she knew she had an inclination to occult things. often picked apart from her peers, she wasn’t an outsider, but it was obvious from the get go that tina wasn’t your typical girl. 

often looking up to influential and powerful women -- her mother, oprah winfrey, etc. - tina developed an ambition to be the best she could be. her focus intensified and despite graduating from business school (universit of california-berkley) summa cum laude, tina wasn’t satisfied. she still wasn’t her best. so she delved into the mystic arts more...until she learned of kamar-taj. kamar-taj gave her more than enough challenges to satisfy her and she climbed the ranks and reached the title of master. however, complications arose within her newfound glory. tina had a business start-up that she was developing. she couldn’t very well handle both. she can. she just had to be creative. using the sling ring and the staff of one, tina minoru balanced her duties as master of the mystic arts, keeping watch over the hong kong sanctum, while attending to her budding tech business. but her tech business wasn’t going as well as she thought. even with the help of her husband, robert, tina knew it could be better. then a man named jonah came into their lives with a promise of a better life -- and the rest is history.

tina has been teleporting from new york to la for quite some time. mostly just to be with herself, especially after amy’s death - the circumstances in which she will never be at peace with. even though most of the truth has come out. tina does most of her ceo work on-the-go and tries to be as discreet still. she doesn’t know if disobeying jonah now would impact her and robert’s business. she thinks it won’t affect nico, who had run away with her friends to get away from her and the rest of pride (plus frank but fuck frank yaknowhatimean). 

due to the situation regarding her, robert, janet, and victor, tina is less likely to treat the steins as nicely, but she’ll try to be civil. same with the rest of pride, honestly. even leslie whom she had a friendly rivalry with before, tina now holds deep anger towards. 

the staff of one part of the story: OKAY, here’s my take. there’s an original staff of one from kamar-taj. tina felt inclined to build one more suited to her tastes, one that won’t react so adversely to her body (a staff that can get absorbed into her body only to be summoned by self-harm? no thank you, says tina.) so tina had scientists from wiztech create a staff with almost the same properties as the original. the original was always kept close. she knew that mystic energy could run hereditary. either of her daughters could possess the ability to wield it. she was right.

tina’s abilities include: wielding the staff of one. verbal spells are supplementary, but she doesn’t necessarily need to say what she wants to happen. summoning the staff - even from a distance - is also part of her abilities. she also possesses a sling ring to allow herself to open portals to any place she wants.

reagan is a mutant who has managed to keep the fact that she is different hidden from most people. her abilities have developed when she had just hit puberty at eleven years old. that was the first time she unwillingly read her parents’ thoughts. in the beginning, her parents shrugged it off as an accident. but when it happened repeatedly, and the second ability slowly started developing, they realized that their child was something they could not wrap their mind around and couldn’t understand. 

the girl at eleven years old ended up on the streets of new york for a few months until a couple with the name kelly took her in. what she found out was that they were also different and they had sworn to themselves to help any young mutant in need. eventually, she was adopted by the couple and spent her teenage years with them. while it hurt that she couldn’t go home to her parents, the kellys took good care of her and helped her controlling her abilities, and she felt safe. every now and again they provided shelter for lost young mutants, who however never ended up staying for longer than a couple of months.

when reagan was 23 and attending a local college, her adoptive parents took in a 16-year-old girl with the name elouise. in the beginning, reagan assumed that she would be another one passing through like all the other ones she had met throughout the years. but something was different about her, she could tell. with elouise’s parents having passed away, the kellys opted for adopting the girl as well, elly then becoming reagan’s adoptive sister. over time, reagan got more and more used to the girl and helped her adjust the way the kellys in the beginning had helped her to adjust. 

elouise and her have recently moved into an apartment together, staying in new york city for now. reagan herself works as a freelance writer, while always trying to keep an eye on her adoptive sister, having become extremely protective of her over the years.

reagan’s abilities are both connected to powers of the mind. she can read/sense another person's thoughts and communicate with them mentally. telepathy falls into two categories: telepathic communication, which is the ability to transmit information from one mind to another, and telepathic perception, which is the ability to receive information from another mind. while she can do this on anyone who doesn't have the ability to shield their mind, she chooses not to unless she senses there is something wrong.

the second part of her abilities is visual projection. this means she has the ability to project a vivid image into someone else’s mind. for example, reagan can use this power by imagining an area and willing her victims to see. if reagan wants for them to see a forest around them, the target will only be able to see the forest, as if they are really standing in one. the visions are so real that the person she is targeting can easily forget reality. she can project to multiple targets at the same time and take immediate effect.

hey all! i’m isabel and this is my girl dee. below you’ll find more about her. hit the like button or message me if you want to plot! i’d like to plot with as many people as possible <3

so first thing you should know about dee is that she’s homeless. she mostly spends her nights in hidden alleyways, sleeping with one eye open. sometimes she’ll try to get a spot in a homeless shelter for the night, but a lot of times they’re too hectic for her.

they’re hectic because she’s telepathic and so she can hear everybody’s thoughts, which isn’t always pleasant. in crowded places (such as everywhere in nyc) it can give her headaches just from the sheer number of voices in her head. it’s like always being in a crowded room with everyone talking. she can focus on one voice in particular and the rest will sort of fade a bit so she can hear more clearly, but there’s always some kind of noise. there’s never silence. 

she feels like she’s kind of losing her identity because of the fact that she’s always hearing other people’s minds, so it’s hard for her to separate her own thoughts from the others’. 

she grew up in a very conservative, religious southern home. her dad was a preacher and preached a lot of anti-mutant sentiment. dee didn’t think this was anything strange or bad until she started realizing she was overhearing people’s thoughts. and other people couldn’t. which meant she was one of the mutants her parents hated.

she tried to hide it, but when her telekinesis started showing, it was a lot harder. she didn’t have control of it, especially when she was anxious or angry. eventually, when dee was about thirteen, her parents started to notice. 

so she ran away. at first she just went to a different state and stayed at a shelter for homeless mutant youth. she stayed there until she was eighteen. but then the anti-mutant laws were passed and dee had to run again. 

she’s been on the run again ever since, making her way towards new york. she can easily evade trackers because she can hear them coming. 

finally, she made it to new york, but she had no money or connections here. the crowding in the city makes it really hard for her, and she has a near constant headache because of it. she tries to stay in pretty quiet areas, but they’re hard to find in this city.

she panhandles for money a lot of the time, and it’s helpful that she can see into people’s minds to figure out what would make them want to donate money to her. still, not a lot of income.

sometimes she cons people, too, though she doesn’t like it. she’ll do things like the cup-and-ball game but use her telekinesis to cheat by putting a ball under every cup and using her powers to make sure the person who’s guessing loses every time. 

she spends a lot of money on coffee and painkillers, because they’re the only things that help with her headaches. if it’s a choice between painkillers and food, she’ll probably choose painkillers. she only takes the maximum amount the label says she can take, but that takes a lot of self-control. 

she’s very prideful and even though she panhandles for money she doesn’t enjoy it. she doesn’t enjoy having to rely on people’s charity.

*edit* a little about mindreader, her alias. she really just is like a vigilante and uses her powers to help people she hears in trouble nearby. most of the time it’s to protect herself from people who try to give her trouble, but she’ll help other people too. she doesn’t have a costume or anything, but she keeps her hood up and tries to conceal her face. she’s not trying to be a hero or anything, she’s mostly focused on keeping herself safe, and that includes keeping people in her area safe.
