anyway lasik was the #3 biggest medical-related quality of life improvement of my entire life (#1 was the gluten thing and #2 is ADHD meds) and it pisses me off so much that it isn’t even covered by insurance when it should be fucking free
#I mean it’s not like vision isn’t treated like a fucking luxury anyway#free glasses and contacts and eye exams are already pie in the sky but at least they’re sometimes partially covered by vision insurance#but lasik is treated like an unnecessary convenience thing and not straight up life changing#and my eyes were more-or-less correctable with contacts
