Energy Efficient LED Light NSW
LED lights are highly efficient, long-lasting, and environmentally friendly. They can be used to replace traditional lighting systems and save up to 70% on energy costs.
The NSW Government has an incentive scheme available to help households and businesses reduce their electricity consumption. The scheme provides financial incentives to upgrade inefficient light bulbs to LEDs.Â
To know more about Energy Efficient LED Light, visit the Energy Power Saver website or call 69650912468.
LED light is a great way to save money and the environment, with savings on your energy bill and carbon emissions. Replacing your lighting with ENERGY STAR certified LED bulbs can be one of the easiest ways to save.
The ESS helps households reduce their electricity and gas use by subsidising the costs of purchasing and installing new LED lights in their homes. To find out if you can take advantage of the offer, simply select âEnergy efficient lighting discountsâ and you will be directed to an approved supplier in your area.
Using LEDs for everyday lighting can save you up to 15% on your electricity bill, depending on how many fixtures you replace with LEDs. These bulbs are also available in a variety of colors and can be dimmable, giving you the flexibility to control the amount of light your home uses.
If you are looking to install energy efficient LED light in your commercial building, there are a number of government incentives that can help you save money on your upgrade. These programs are usually available through your local electric utility company.
Some of these programs can also be applied to residential properties and they will typically pay you a fixed amount for every kilowatt hour you save on your electricity. These are called performance rebates and you will need to meet certain criteria in order to qualify for these.
Another way to get financial help with your project is to look into tax credits. These are federal and state government grants that can be claimed to offset the cost of your LED lighting upgrades.
While these benefits are not as sweeping as some other tax breaks, they can be a great way to offset the initial cost of your lighting upgrade. However, you will want to make sure that your products are Energy Star certified and DCL listed in order to maximize your savings.
LED lights are the most energy efficient lighting solution for your home or business. They use up to 75% less energy than traditional incandescent, halogen or compact fluorescent lights.
LEDs also last longer and run cooler, reducing air-conditioning costs and extending your lighting output. They are available in a wide range of styles and colours, making them a perfect choice for every property.
If youâre ready to upgrade your lights, contact us for a free quote or get a quote online here! Fill out the form below and an expert will be in touch within 24 hours to discuss your options.
The NSW governmentâs Energy Saver Scheme (ESS) provides financial incentives to install energy-efficient lighting for businesses and households. These incentives are designed to help you slash your power bill and lower your carbon footprint.
LED lighting is a great way to save on your electricity bill while improving the health of the environment. It costs 80% less to operate than traditional incandescent or halogen lights and lasts up to 10 times longer.
There are many energy efficient LED light NSW options to choose from, so itâs best to get a free quote from an accredited energy efficiency company. They will be able to help you find the right LED lighting for your business, and can even save you money through government rebates.
The ESC scheme offers significant financial incentives for businesses that install energy efficient technologies like LED lights. These financial incentives are in the form of 'energy savings certificates' (ESCs) that can be redeemed for cash or used to offset energy costs.Â
To know more about Energy Efficient LED Light, visit the Energy Power Saver website or call 69650912468.
Make sure you ask about whether a discount will be guaranteed on the quote or whether it changes after installation based on the assumptions that they have made. It's also a good idea to get a better understanding of how the ESCs are calculated.

Military RPG are weird. They emerged in the â80s, initially with light sci-fi/post-apocalyptic theming (Aftermath, Morrow Project), then as just straight-up warfare RPGs (Merc was probably the first of these, focused of soldiers of fortune and is basically one big racist dogwhistle; Recon came out a year later and is similarly polluted, with a heaping side of revisionist history of how the U.S. won Vietnam, actually). The genre wasnât particularly successful in a commercial sense until GDWâs Twilight: 2000 (1984). To be clear up front: I do not understand the appeal of these games, but I find them endlessly fascinating, in the same way I find myself compelled to watch reels of car accidents when the algorithm serves them to me. If you are big on military RPGs, well, this is going to be a disappointing week for you.
Twilight shares two of the main Traveller designers (Frank Chadwick and Loren K. Wiseman) and I think itâs at least partially informed by the complexity of the unified Classic Traveller rules that appeared in 1983. Itâs mechanically complex and primarily interested in detailed simulations of small arms combat (It is more complicated than my tolerances, but I do think it is far more playable than most gunporn RPGs before or since).
The game imagines a world putting itself back together after a small-scale nuclear war in Europe. Play takes place in the destabilized European countries, but players are essentially mercenaries or something like roaming ronin, free for chain of command and forced to deal with the realities on the ground without guidance or support. I can sort of see the appeal of this, coming out during the last years of the cold war (and I believe the starting world-state of the game was determined through GDW staff playing a grand strategy game rooted in contemporary events). It is certainly an interesting artifact of its time. T2K proved popular (and even has a less complex modern incarnation from Free League), but GDWâs increasing preoccupation with these sorts of heavy simulations likely contributed to grown problems that eventually led to the companyâs closure.

Hereâs the quote lovely! Take your time! Iâm so glad you wanted to participate!
âmay my heart
be the softest place you fall,
may this love
be the wildest place you runâ
I am stoked to see what you come up with! đ
(I got carried away đ)
Pairing: Fives x Fem!Reader
Inspired by @anxiouspineapple99âs lovely prompt.
Warning: GENUINELY not proof read. Sorry for all the inevitable comma splices and passive verbs, because Wrecker, is that a bagel?
âQuick, Meshâla! Climb!â
His tone was frenzied, hurried, panicked, and yet somehow still dripping with the same wild glee that never failed to emerge in the direst of times.
âIâm trying!â you gasped, heart hammering heavily in your ears as you urgently heaved yourself up the narrow, rusty ladder, ignoring the sharp flakes of paint that kept breaking away from each rung and embedding themselves into your palm. âYou didnât tell me Iâd be climbing an old fucking ladder on the side of a building, Fives, or I wouldnât have worn heels.â
âWhy would I tell you and ruin the fun?â he jeered from below you, failing to repress the chuckle that accompanied the infuriating grin on his lips.
âThis is fun?â you demanded, halting your movements entirely to glare down at him.
âI swear itâll be fun when we get there!â he defended, nodding toward the top of the ladder still a dozen feet above your head.
âIf we donât get kriffing arrested first,â you grumbled, giving him an indignant shake of the head and a roll of your eyes.
âYeah, well⌠theyâre not far behind us so Iâm not holding my breath,â he answered with a snort. âHereâs hoping whoever is holding the handcuffs likes your pink panties as much as I do, because I think theyâre going to be our ticket out of this.â
âFives!â you gasped, pausing again to jam the hem of your dress between your legs, humiliation threatening to send your cheeks aflame.
âHey, donât cover the goods!â he protested, reaching up and yanking the fabric from its unceremonious pinch between your thighs. âI was enjoying the view.â
âIâm going to murder you once my hands are free.â
âTalk kinky to me later, Babe. For now, just climb a little faster⌠I can see their flashlights around the corner.â
At the top of the ladder was the expanse of a commercial rooftop; the apparent poor craftsmanship of the structure now below your feet had caused significant pooling of water in some areas⌠yet despite the obvious derelict and despair, the sight before you had instantly robbed you of breath. Your mouth fell open, and without a second thought to the fear that had sent you frantically scrambling up a decrepit ladder in the darkness mere seconds ago, you eagerly took the dozen steps toward the opposite side of the rooftop, deftly pulling your shoes from your feet and tossing them haphazardly to the ground beside you.
Barely inches from your toes was a seemingly infinite drop into the underworld; a column of emptiness encircled with hundreds of thousands of lights, the coil of radiance so descending so deeply into the core of the planet, that their luminescence simply became no match for the sheer distance. A quick glance upward lay the infamous Coruscanti skyline; as majestic as it was endless, and as breathtaking as the audacity of the man whoâd led you here.
âThought youâd like this.â His hands slithered their way around your waist, pulling you tenderly backward until your body was flush with his.
âItâs⌠gorgeous,â you breathed, tipping your head backward to his chest as he perched his chin atop your shoulder.
âYup, you sure are.â
You pursed your lips against a grin that would too eagerly expose just how happy you were to be in his company. Since that night that heâd feigned ignorance and asked for help racking up a set of pool balls in the dim lighting of 79âs, Fives, and all his mischievous endeavours, had kept you entirely on your toes. And while his affinity for âfunâ was one of the things you loved most about him, it was moments like this that you held close to your heart when the harrowing loneliness of his extended deployments threatened to dismantle your resolve to spend forever with him. It was these quiet spans of only a blink where all distraction went ignored; these seemingly frozen seconds where your love for each other remained impenetrable by the menial factors of time and space; times like this when nothing except the feeling of his fingers between yours and his breath tickling your neck mattered in the grand scheme of life. If you had Fives, you had enough⌠you had everything.
âI love you,â you whispered, reaching up to weave your fingers into his dark hair.
âI love you too, Cyare.â
You tipped your head back, eyes fluttering closed in preparation for the euphoric feeling of his lips against yours, for the taste of him on your tongue, for his hands to tighten their grip around your body.
âTHERE THEY ARE!â
âYOU TWO! HALT AND STATE YOUR BUSINESS.â
Your shoulders jerked in fright at the sudden intrusion; the flashlights that youâd spent the last ten minutes evading, now directing their stark beams of light directly into your eyes, but neither of you moved a muscle.
âTHIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY,â the officer continued to intone loudly. âHANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM.â
âShould I throw my panties at them?â you whispered coyly against his lips.
âHonestly? I kinda wanna keep themâŚâ Fives risked stealing another tender peck before saying, âYour shoes will have to stay here though. Get ready to run.â
âWha-?â
âNow!â

Scratch an Itch Ch. 37: Putting Distance
Link to full chapter on AO3
Ynnaâs POV
The incident in the hall lingered. In the words that rang painfully similar sentiments to your own. In the disappointment that followed when yet another encounter with Alastor led to even more bitterness between you two. In the subtle warmth that flowed through your body, in the aftertaste of his blood. Strangely, rather than an inferno of anger and rage at that manâs fucking audacity, only a wary sort of gloominess came about. Dragging along behind you like tangled strings, wrapping around your limbs with just enough pull that moving felt too troublesome, this gloom lingered, anchoring you to your bed.
Sleep came and went and while your body was rested, that gloomy string had unfurled through the dreamless night and strung thoughts and words and all your many insecurities into a banner you could now understand in the sober light of morning.
You needed to leave. This wasnât your place any longer.
Months ago, the thought of leaving the hotel would have terrified you, the memories of your first months in Hell fearsome enough to send your heart racing in panic. After knowing that there were such kind people down here, you would have groveled on the ground to stay if Charlie had asked it of you, though the princess of Hell would never ask. She welcomed you with open arms and gave you hope. And it was because of that generosity that you had courage now.
With somber resolution and a smile that felt more freeing than any youâve let out in the last few weeks, you marched to the dining hall. The sight of all your friends clenched at your heart a little bit. You would have to say goodbye to them a lot sooner than youâd thought. You could only hope that they would understand and that the distance between you all wouldnât change anything in your relationship with them.
Cheery good mornings and a lot of cereal became todayâs breakfast. It was a simple affair. It was markedly missing a certain red-suited demon. You wondered where he could have been, that gloom coming back to knock on your senses as you glanced over to the empty seat at the head of the table. You probably shouldnât care.
After breakfast, you took Charlie aside, asking to meet with the woman in private to discuss your plans. Vaggie, sensing something in your mood, obliged and went to go hunt down the absent facility manager, leaving you and Charlie alone in the shared office.Â
You glanced around. Even this place held some stark memories of you and Alastor. No. Donât think about him.
âSo, whatâs on your mind?â Charlie, ever cheerful, offered you one of the chairs in front of her desk. She took its matching set, sitting next to you instead of across. For a second, you imagined that cheerful smile turned sour, turned angry, turned all sorts of disappointed and it hurt your heart. Fear and apprehension crawled through your rib cage, grasping at your throat in an effort to stop you from saying anything that could invoke that kind of reaction. But werenât you just saying you werenât a coward anymore? Steadying yourself, you thought to be straightforward. Rip the bandaid and hope for the best.
âCharlie, Iâm checking out of the hotel.â
A few seconds of silence followed. Two sets of eyes stared at each other unblinking, one in uncomfortable surprise and the other in just plain discomfort.
âYnna, is everything okay? Why would you want to check out?â The princessâ frozen expression quickly turned into soft concern in the way that Charlie, with all her sincere wishes for the happiness of her people, could not help but show. It was so sweet. She was so sweet. Which made your decision feel all the more like the right one. You took one of her pale hands and sandwiched it gently between your own, hoping to give her a bit of comfort and yourself a bit of strength as you answered.
âThe truth is, itâs been a while since Iâve truly wanted to go to Heaven. When I first got here, I was just following that commercial, trying to find some way out because even after a few months in Hell, I still couldnt find the hope to live here. I was scared of everything and fell for every trick. It was miserable. And I was alone.â A crack bubbled up your stinging throat, threatening to break the determination you mined your words with. Despite how often youâd thought of this, it was still difficult to truly express what you felt. âI thought that if I could just get to Heaven, Iâll finally feel like I could live. But then you welcomed me in, gave me a home. I made friends and learned so many things. I even got a job now. Itâs been a while since Iâve been scared.â Not even the threat of your soul being torn apart by an Overlord could shake you.Â
âI feel likeâŚI feel like I could be happy down here.â For a moment, you paused, wondering if some feeling of doubt and even self-mockery at that thought would come but you only felt that it was true. The previous wish for Heavenly Grace had long been eclipsed by a wish to stay with the loved ones you made down here. And even with your current situation, your heart didnât feel too discouraged. It still hoped for a better afterlife. That was more than you had when you first stepped foot in the hotel. âWith my feelings like that, I thought it wouldnât be good for me to stay here. I canât take advantage of your kindness when all I want is to build my life down here.â
Slowly, Charlieâs expression shuttered to muted distraught and helplessness. Her red eyes dulled only to sparkle with unshed tears. âIâm sorry to disappoint you.â You couldnât help but apologize. You never thought youâd ever feel differently about redemption.
âOh Ynna, donât be sorry. Iââ She took her hand back, grabbing you into a hug so tightly it felt like a sweet small punishment for daring to apologize. âIâm honestly happy that you feel that you can be happy in Hell. That's all I want for my people. Youâre one of the nicest people Iâve ever met and if you want to stay down here then I think Hell would be all the better for it butâŚthis isnât about Alastor is it? I know you two havenât been on good terms for a while. Do you feel like you need to leave because of him?â She pulled away just enough to look into your eyes and you wondered if in those honest depths, which person she would support if the truth of how badly things have become ever came to light. But you wouldnât make her choose.Â
âNah. I wouldnât leave this place just because I donât get along with him. If that were the case, I would have left a long time ago.â As suffocating as things have been, it never crossed your mind to move out whenever you bumped into Alastor. Blocked from redemption by the fact of your acts of cannibalism, that sin was yours to bear. Forced as you were now, it didnât change the fact that you willingly did it once.
Maybe youâd abandoned Heaven a long time ago after all. âBut Iâm not gonna lie and say that heâs not a part of the reason but heâs only a little part of it. I really admire your dreams and the effort you put into it everyday. Seeing all of it, I can't help but feel like Iâm mooching off of you. So I decided that if I canât get into Heaven, I can at least not be a burden. No! Even better, I can try to find more people who would be a good fit and send them your way.â
âYouâve never been a burden! Not even once. You respect my dream and thatâs enough. And yes, Iâm disappointed that youâre leaving. But IâI!â With shaking arms she shook you as if to rid you of those thoughts. When you smiled at her, happy to hear your worth from her own mouth, she returned it with a watery one of her own. Really, she was trying to be so strong but you could see the cracks, the dreamer hiding her wounds to play the role of a friend. The stinging in your throat felt all the more fiery for it.
âIâm sorry.â You whispered what you could before your own tears clouded your vision.
âI just want everyone to be happy. Ifâif you think youâll be happy out there then I wonât stop you from leaving even though Iâll be sad andâandâŚâ
âThâthank you, Charlie.â

YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH TROUBLE WATARU'S HAIR GIVES ME (sobbing)
I actually didn't have trouble finding a card where the hair is similar to what I want this time, but I couldn't find a card where the lighting was similar. Mostly because I couldn't figure out WHAT the lighting was to begin with...
Natsume's hair was also a pain in the ass :,) It was traced from his 2 star LMAO- I had to mess with it so much so that the perspective matched...
and then there's Koga. who has a sprite so similar I almost considered just putting this as his initial
WHY DOES THIS WORK.
Anyways. That's all for CosPro! It'll be a while before RythLink's comes out, but winter break is approaching soon so I might be able to get them done quicker than the previous two!

Haalur - (Din Djarin x fem!reader)
(*gif from @cutieodonoghue )
Summary: The tension in Din's body is too much for you to bear. So, you take him home to help him relax and breathe. He needs it.
Rating: T (this might a strong T seeing as there's mention of smut but it's not quite M either so...)
Word Count: 4.3k
Warnings: mentions of past sexual encounters, a little bit angsty, super duper soft, uncertain reader and quite possibly more things that I'm forgetting.
A/N: So, there's a fic I read recently about Din and the reader having sex and him not taking the beskar off. I don't remember who wrote it and I'm embarassed to admit that, but I'm pretty sure it briefly leaks into this story and I AM SORRY ABOUT IT. It just makes a lot of sense and I guess I couldn't get the imagery out of my head. If that's your fic, lemme know so I can tag it and link it here to give you credit.
Also, this is only my second full length reader fic and while I feel a lot more confident in it, I'm not confident in my Star Wars lore, so apologies when I use the wrong words for stuff.
I don't do tag lists, but you're free to follow @fireproof-library for all my fics without the mess. Just turn on the notifications.

-----
When you saw him again on Tatooine, your heart skipped a beat. How long had it been since you last saw him? It hadnât been very many months, not like before when you hadnât seen him in almost a year. This time, less time had passed, and you selfishly hoped that the downward trend would continue because the more time that passed, the less and less youâd see him, the more you worried about him. The more you feared he would never come back.Â
He wouldnât do that to you, would he? Leave you and never return to you? You wouldnât put it past him. You couldnât fall in love with a Mandalorian. The path led to heartbreak, and you were no stranger to it. No matter how much you thought he was different, you knew better. You werenât Mandalorian, which meant he had no loyalty to you.Â
But you knew better.Â
The Creed promoted loyalty, Mandalorian or not. Itâs why he kept returning to Tatooine. Itâs why he continually sought out the same people over and over again. Itâs why he was even on Tatooine in the first place. Peli found an old Naboo starfighter with the intention of giving it to him. A worthy replacement to the Razor Crest.Â
You missed that gun ship something fierce, but youâd never admit it. You knew exactly how that ship sounded. Out of all the other ships that landed there on a somewhat regular basis, you could pick that one out of a line up every time. You knew the way the engines sounded when it dropped out of the clouds to landâa dull, low rumble that vibrated from your chest to your toes. You knew exactly what it looked like as it flew through the sky, built differently than most ships that landed on the planet. You knew to look for it when you expected him back. You never knew exactly when heâd return, but you knew he would. He was tethered to this place, much like you were.Â
You were down at a local cantina in town when the commercial ship landed on a nearby landing pad. You heard the distinct metallic whine and the sudden influx of different languages and dialects. You werenât exactly a polyglot. You knew how to speak droid and Jawa and just a bit of the wookie language but most of what youâd picked up over the years was from what youâd heard on the streets in the markets. You could barter and trade in different languages, but you couldnât speak them fluently. A blessing and a curse, your mother would say, but you didnât care.Â
You finished your food quickly, bounding through the crowd to see who might be on the ship. Passers through, the most of them, but you happened to catch the glint of light off a helmet moving opposite you through the crowd. Your breath caught in your chest. The blood rushed through your ears, hollow and excited all at once. You broke off in a run in the opposite direction, cutting through the town on the way to Peliâs shop. You knew every nook and cranny and managed to get there right as he shot the womp rat trying to eat her.Â
Dank Farrik, he looked good and you had to remember how to breathe.Â
The two of them talked about the Naboo starfighter before he seemed to realize you were there. Youâd tried not to draw attention to yourself, but youâd just managed to almost trip over one of Peliâs BD droids and the little guy wasnât too happy about it, beeping and swearing at you in binary while you tried to silence it.Â
âHey, hey! What have I told you about yelling at my droids?âÂ
You immediately stop as the little guy toddles off cursing. âSorry, Peli.âÂ
âAnd what did I tell you about sneaking into my place? You know better.âÂ
You shot Peli a fond little smile. âYeah, but I like doing it anyway.âÂ
The woman in front of you huffed, obviously annoyed as she turned to him and motioned at you, âMando this isââ
âI know who she is,â his voice sounded cold through the modulator, so different from the warmth you were used to.Â
Peli looked confused between the two of you. You expected her to say something, but for once, she kept her mouth shut. âOkay, then. Wanna see this cool new ride I found you? Itâs not finished. I just started working on it.âÂ
And thatâs how the conversation ended. You followed them around as he expressed dislike at the idea of flying a starfighter instead of a heavy gunner. The entire time, you tried not to stare at him too much. Like always, he looked well put together. His beskar shone in perfect condition. Nothing knicked or scuffed that armor and something about knowing that made you smile. He was safe. Unless his ship was shot down in space. But you tried not to think about that. That was too much to bear.Â
His flight suit underneath the armor looked faded and well worn. You wondered when was the last time he changed it out. You knew the Razor Crest held plenty of spares in all of its hidden compartments. But since itâd been destroyed, you didnât know where his spares were, or if he even had any. You wondered if you could nick some clothes off a vendor and alter them for him. It wouldnât be a flight suit, but itâd be something he could wear if he needed it.Â
And thatâs how the day goes. You trying not to stare. Him obviously knowing youâre there and also trying not to stare, all down to business and trying to wrangle parts for a starfighter that needed a lot of work. The two of you danced under Peliâs watchful and curious gaze but the fact she wasnât saying anything said all it needed to. She knew and Mando knew she did, too.Â
You find yourself at the back of the starfighter at the end of the day, fiddling with some part or other that you had no idea what it did or where it went. Your thoughts were on him and the way he looked crouched down under the nose of the ship. You didnât even realize the older curly haired woman had slid up beside you.
âSo,â she said suddenly, causing you to jump and drop the part you had in your hands. One of her BD droids scurried away so it wouldnât get crushed. âHow long has that been going on?âÂ
You tried to feign innocence as you bent to pick the piece up from the ground. âI donât know what you mean.âÂ
She lifted an eyebrow. âCâmon now. I might be old but Iâm not exactly blind.âÂ
âPeliââ
She raised her hands in surrender. âOkay, alright. I get it. But if what I think is true, why donât you get him out of here? Take him to your place? Show him a good time, if you know what I mean.â She elbowed you in the side and you tried to bat her arm away from you.Â
âOkay, okay. Peli, I get the point.âÂ
âBesides,â the woman began, her gaze settling on Mando as he stood to grab a tool and get back to work, âhe looks like he needs it.âÂ
She was right. You watched him move around some, always so poised and strangely elegant in his movements. But underneath that beskar, his muscles jarred and hitched, some usually more refined moves jerky and not at all like they should be. Something felt wrong. It feltâŚoff, and you didnât know why. You wanted to lift the world off his broad shoulders if only to see him less tense than he appeared now.Â
You took a breath, ignoring the thoughts in your head that said, donât do this in front of the older woman, but she had suggested it and if he trusted her enough to keep coming back for help, then he trusted her enough with other things, too. You sat the part down on a nearby bench and ignored the way the woman pretended not to watch. Youâd have to talk to her later when Mando left again. But for now, you approached the Mandalorian, fingers itching to touch him, craving the feel of the beskar under your fingertips and the rough wool of his cape.Â
Flashes of a night youâre sure heâs long since forgotten dance across your mind. You can still remember the itch of that wool cape as it scratched over your bare skin, keeping you warm in the Razor Crest as you cooled from exertions you dare not tell a soul about. He had a reputation to protect. You wouldnât dare be the cause of any pain.Â
But this time, you took a chance in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, you could soothe some of that tension before you disappeared to your place. You settled your hand right on the edge of his shoulder armor where the leather of his bandolier dug into the flight suit. You squeezed and you swore you could feel him relax under your touch.Â
âCâmon, cabur,â you murmured softly. âItâs time to rest.â He lifted his head, tilting it as he looked at you through the âtâ of his helmet. You could almost feel the confusion radiating off of him. âOh, she knows. She wonât say anything.â
He looked just past your shoulder at Peli who was messing with some coupling or something and muttering to her droids. Then he looked back at you.Â
âI have warm soup at home,â you press, reaching up to settle your hand gently on his helmet like you were cupping his cheek.
He sagged into your touch. A sigh crackled through his modulator. âI have to be back here early in the morning.âÂ
You smile as relief slides through you. âI know. Iâll wake you up.âÂ
His body hefted up slowly as your hand slid down his beskar, stopping as your fingers slipped off his gloved hand. You almost settled your hand in his but decided better of it. You could imagine the stares youâd get on the street walking hand in hand with a Mandalorian.Â
âI will be back tomorrow to keep working,â he said shortly in Peliâs direction.Â
âWeâll be up bright and early. Maybe even with some parts. You know the Jawas, though. They come in late sometimes.âÂ
âWeâll do what we can.âÂ
Peli waved you both off. âGo on. Go get some rest. Donât do anything I wouldnât do.âÂ
The woman winked at you and you knew that he could see it. You shrunk into a blush, wanting to disappear in the sand. By the stars were you always this obvious? You knew the answer to that, but you didnât want to admit it to yourself. You didnât want Mando to see it. Your relationship, whatever it was, as it was, wasnât typically predicated on others knowing. Peli wasâŚa bit of an unforeseen circumstance. Not that you were complaining. She pushed you in the right direction when you need the push. Even though you hated being pushed into anything.Â
He didnât say anything until you reached your apartment on the outskirts of town. The people there were thin on the ground until they seemed to disappear completely. Just the two of you lingered, lit solely by halogen lights, the beskar shining in the darkness. You unlocked the door and ushered him inside, out of the darkness and the chill that had begun to settle over the desert. You never got tired of the way it cooled off at night, despite the fact you were freezing by the time you shut the door behind him and began turning on the heaters.Â
As you puttered around the small home, turning knobs and getting food from the cold case, you felt his gaze on you, watching you curiously as you moved. If anyone else had done that, youâd feel nervous, exposed, and far too vulnerable. You took yourself out of a situation once because too many eyes were on you and you felt like you were being critiqued on something you could never change or never knew you needed to change. You resisted going back out to that cantina when that happened. Eventually, though, you returned, even if the nervous feeling never really got any better.Â
Under his gaze, though, you feelâŚstrangely safe. Cabur suited him well in many ways, most of which youâd never tell a soul. You werenât helpless. Youâd dare anyone to make that insinuation. You could hold your own, and in fact, you often did. But despite your capabilities, you appreciated the protection he provided you when he blew into town. While heâd never gone into battle for you, you knew he would if he felt you were threatened. Or maybe that was wishful thinking. Either way, actions or not, his gaze felt warm and safe even if you couldnât see his eyes through his helmet.Â
âMake yourself at home,â you motioned as you put the promised soup in a pot on the stove to heat up.Â
The heat hadnât kicked on yet and you shivered as you turned the element on with slightly shaky hands. You were about to pull on a poncho or an extra tunic or something when you felt the scratchy wool of the cape drape over your shoulders, his strong, still gloved hands running over your arms as he smoothed the fabric over you.Â
âWell, hello, cyare,â you murmured, your head falling back gently into the cool beskar shoulder armor.Â
âYou thought I didnât notice,â his low voice dripped honey smooth from the modulator.Â
âDidnât notice what?âÂ
âThe way you were watching me in the garage.âÂ
You chuckle softly, turning in his embrace and wrapping your arms around his tapered waist.Â
âI wasnât too obvious, was I?â
He shook his head and you couldnât help but smile as you laid your head on his chest. You wished you could hear his heart beat, but you made do with what you had. At least he was there with you. Thatâs what mattered. He was there and he seemed happy to indulge you, even if he never did take off his helmet or his gloves. You found it odd that everything else was fair game, but you tried not to think about it too much. If you thought about it too much, youâd ask too many questions and you knew better than to ask him too many questions.Â
âIâll heat up the soup and then go take a shower so you can eat.âÂ
âThanks,â he said and you swore you could hear a smile in his voice, his tone tinged with relief.Â
You wanted to see his face, but you wouldnât push it. To push a Mandalorian was to tempt his wrath. You wanted no part of that.Â
So, you lingered quietly like that. Wrapped in his arms and his cape with your head on his armored chest as the soup heated slowly on the burner. Even with the beskar on, your suspicions were correct about the tension in his body. You could feel it underneath his flightsuit, the muscles of his back tight and rigid. His posture, even with his arms around you, felt rigid, too. Something twinged inside of you. You wanted to ask what was wrong, but you couldnât make the words come out of your throat. You sighed and lifted your head, letting him go and turning to stir the soup.Â
The hair on the back of your neck stood on end. Even though you had moved, he had not. He still stood stock still behind you. You couldnât decide if he was curious about the sudden change in your demeanor or if it was something else. You could have asked, but again, you couldnât make your voice work for some reason.Â
âWhatâs wrong, meshâla?âÂ
His voice jolted you out of your thoughts and you turned back to face him again.
âWhat do you mean?â He tilted his head and even with the darkened âtâ of his helmet, you knew he was giving you a look that meant he didnât believe your feigned innocence.Â
âYouâre thinking about something.âÂ
You sighed a little bit, again, and shook your head. âNothing.â Another tilt of his helmet. âYou feel different is all.âÂ
âDifferent?â He asked curiously, his voice lilting softly through the modulator.
âYeah. You feelâŚtense. Iâm not used to that.âÂ
He fell silent, turning away to pad to the sofa. You tried not to feel hurt welling up into your chest. That was all you needed to know. Something was different. You didnât know what it could be and you certainly didnât want to ask if he was just going to clam up and draw away from you.Â
You turn to the soup and stir it so it doesnât scorch. Youâre used to his silence, but this time it doesnât feel right. This time, it almost feels like he wants to say something but maybe doesnât have the words. You wouldnât put it past him. You also donât blame him. Itâs not like you two are very close. Youâre not. He just lost himself in you more than once and cuddled you once and you thought those things meant something. Fools errand. Thatâs what it was.Â
âI miss the kid.âÂ
You stopped stirring, turning to look at his back as his helmet fell low in exhaustion. Without thinking, you turned the cook top down low and immediately came up behind him. Your slender hands gently settled on the area past his shoulder beskar that is padded with just coarse brown fabric. His cape drops from around your own shoulders as you begin to gently massage him. You can feel the knots in his muscles and the way a shudder works through him as you touch him.Â
Before, when he lost himself in you, when he surrendered to his basest desires, he barely allowed you to touch him. He kept the armor and the helmet on, leaving indentations in your skin with the beskar, the coarse fabric of his flight suit rubbing a burn on the curve of your bum that bothered you for days. Even his gloves stayed on, but you couldnât complain about that. You could still feel the way that buttery smooth leather slid easily between your legs. You wouldnât mind a repeat of that.Â
But now, when you touched him, he let you. You still dare not touch him without the suit but the appreciation is obvious as he allowed himself to relax incrementally under your adept hands. You let the silence between you linger. What could you say to him that didnât sound contrite or pointless? You hated seeing him like this, but your tongue had a nasty habit of getting you into trouble and like earlier, you didnât want to risk him clamming up completely.Â
As you continued to massage his shoulders, though, you almost felt compelled to talk. So, you did, even if you felt like you were making a huge mistake.Â
âCan you go visit him?â You asked softly, voice barely above a whisper, not wanting to break this trance youâve both settled into.Â
âI could. I do have something to give him. Just have to get the starfighter up and running first.âÂ
You nod. That makes sense. He canât do anything without a means of transportation.Â
âWhat do you have to give him?âÂ
âA chainmail shirt. For protection.âÂ
âFit for a foundling,â you murmured as you worked a particularly tense muscle. He hissed in pain. Your hands faltered on his shoulders. âSorry. Sorry, I didnât mean to hurt you.âÂ
âItâs fine,â he gritted through clenched teeth.Â
You resisted the urge to smack him upside his helmeted head. âNo, it isnât.âÂ
You ease up your movements despite his protests. Heâs been through enough without you adding pain to it.Â
âIâŚfound my people. Whatâs left of them,â he said softly. Even through the modulator you could hear the regret and sadness in his voice.Â
âAndâŚ?â You trail off curiously, leaving the door open for his reply or his dismissal.Â
He shook his head. You yearned to touch him. You yearned to comfort him properly. You could only do so much like this and it always felt like it was never enough.Â
âItâll be okay,â you whisper. âIn the end. It always is, right?â He shook his head again. âOh.âÂ
You both fell silent. Your hands lingered on his shoulders, not moving this time, just trying to offer him some sort of help despite feeling embarrassingly inept. You arenât sure how long you stay there like that, but it was long enough that you forgot about the soup and you forgot about the insistent hunger gnawing at your insides. He mustâve too, but you didnât mind. This was much more important, you reasoned. Food could always come later.Â
As the silence continued, you lost track of time. You lost track of yourself, of him in relation to you. It felt like youâd always been there for him yet somehow youâd never really been there for him at all. Everything felt off kilter and the sadness in his voice ate at your insides. What you didnât expect was for him to reach up to gently lay an ungloved hand on one of yours. Startled, you jump a little, frowning at your reflection in his helmet.Â
âI need your help, cyar'ika,â he said suddenly, cutting through your shock and confusion.Â
Cyarâika. You dragged the translation from the deepest part of your brain. Darling. Sweetheart. It felt far more intimate than any other pet name youâd used for each other before.Â
âAnything you want.âÂ
You rounded the sofa to stand in front of him, your body reflected at you through the beskar. You stared into that darkened âtâ curiously, trying to read him though the act was impossible. There was no way you could know what he was thinking without seeing his face.Â
He took a deep breath. âTake off my helmet.âÂ
You froze. No, you recoiled at the request. You didnât exactly mean to, but the request came so out of left field, you didnât exactly know how to feel about it.Â
âWhat? No.âÂ
âI want you to see my face.âÂ
âButâŚyour CreedâŚâ you floundered and trailed off.Â
He didnât say a word in response to that, staring up at you through his helmet, body still as a statue, intent on his request and clearly not wanting to back off from it. Your breath caught in your chest. If you did this, if you removed his helmet, you knew the implications. You knew he couldnât put it back on again. ButâŚmaybe that was the point. His words earlier, the sadness laced in his tone. Realization hit you square in the chest. Heâd taken his helmet off before. He mustâve. It confused you even more but now was not the time for questions. He was testing you. You didnât want to find out what would happen if you failed the test.Â
With a shaky breath, you took a step forward, then another one, then another until your thighs pressed against the bent curve of his knees. You tried not to let your thoughts run away with you when he spread his legs for you to step even closer. You swallowed thickly and your slender fingers found the edge of the beskar. It felt smooth under your touch, but you didnât linger with that thought. If you stopped now, you werenât sure you could do what he asked.Â
You swallowed again then slowly began to lift his helmet. Inch by tortuously slow inch, you got your first look at him. Scruffy chin and cheeks, the brown beard flecked with gray, betraying his age. He was older than you or maybe the stress of his life up until then had caught up with him early. You didnât know but you also didnât care. Strong nose. It curved down at just the right angle. Soft looking tawny skin flecked with the light knicks of scars. Deep soulful brown eyes that met yours as soon as they were revealed. Maker and stars above you felt your knees go weak.Â
As you lifted the helmet completely off, his mop of shaggy brown hair flopped onto his head. You almost laughed, worrying your bottom lip between your teeth to keep it back. Like his beard, his hair was beginning to gray a bit, but it was no less beautiful that way. You sat the helmet aside and immediately plunged your hands into that hair. The locks slid between your fingers, impossibly soft and surprisingly well taken care of. You watched as his eyes slipped closed at your touch, body swaying a bit as he reconciled with what was happening, what he was feeling as you touched him. You couldnât imagine what was going through his mind.
You didnât ask.Â
âThank you,â he murmured softly, sending shivers down your spine.Â
Without the modulator, his voice was lighter, less deep but no less honeyed and sweet. It dripped over you easily. You could get used to this.Â
âYouâre welcome, cyarâika.â You didn't quite get the pronunciation right, but he didn't seem to mind.Â
All his beskar came off that night. The soup soon remembered when hunger drove you both to the kitchen table but then quickly forgotten again when, after having your fill, you made sure he breathed and relaxed even more. By the end of the night, you were grateful for the lack of marks and fabric burns on your skin, but you were even more grateful at the feel of his bare arms wrapped around you. You nestled close against him, unsure when you might get another chance like this again. You knew you had a short time with him. You knew as soon as the starfighter was finished, heâd be gone again. But for now, you had the memory of his skin against yours and the memory of how it felt to properly kiss him to keep you going.Â

A Million Little Heartbeats
Pairing: Joel & Ellie
WC: 2650
Warnings: none, maybe light language, the fluffiest fluff
A/N: I absolutely adore these two. They control my brain. Please enjoy Ellie surprising Joel on his birthday.
Ellie looked nervously across the table at Tommy and Maria, brows knit together and chewing her lip. She was too scared to be hopeful yet. The idea came to her on a whim, and, well, that whim became a carefully mapped out trip for her and Joel.
Maria looked down at the map and back to Tommy. He was bent over their kitchen table carefully tracing the route with his pointer finger. Ellie could tell by their body language that an entire unspoken conversation was happening. Eyes flitting back and forth from the worn atlas pages to the otherâs face. Because it was regarding his brother, Maria decided to default to Tommy, trusting his judgement.
âLooks good to me, Ellie girl,â he said with a soft smile, straightening his posture to look her head on.
âSooo, we can go?â she asked slowly.
Maria took one last look at Tommy who broke out in a toothy grin, âYou can go.â
Ellie yelped and rushed to hug him, âThank you both so much. I think itâll really mean a lot to him.â
âIt will,â Tommy said with a mix of joy and sadness in his eyes. The veil of grief lifted slightly to show what really lay behind his usually cheerful facade.
âIâll need your help convincing him,â Ellie explained, gathering the map in her hands to carefully tuck into her backpack.
âIâll take care of it,â Tommy winked.
Joel was supposed to be meeting them soon for supper at Tommy and Mariaâs. He was finishing up some repairs on the livestock fence, replacing the rotted boards with strong, new ones.
Ellie was so excited she felt like her heart was going to beat straight out of her chest and start skipping around the room with her. She had to play it cool though. Joel knew her too well to let a particularly anxious mood go unnoticed. Thankfully, Maria emerged with Jonah on her hip, the perfect distraction for the way her mind was currently spinning in circles. He made grabby hands to Ellie who happily took him into her arms.
âHey buddy!â she grinned as he threw his arms around her neck in a warm embrace, his wild curls squishing against her cheek. âDo you want to pick out a movie to watch before dinner?â
âBalto!â he yelled, kicking his feet as Ellie made her way to their tv. They didnât have a huge movie selection, a couple of cartoons that Jonah liked to sift through. His current fixation was with the wolves in Balto, but Ellie really liked the days he picked the Iron Giant. She popped the tape into their VHS player and sat on the floor in front of their couch. She pulled a faded throw pillow off and tucked it between her legs to make a seat that Jonah gladly took, tucking himself back against her chest while the slightly fuzzy commercials started playing.
Joel came in a few minutes later, wiping his boots on the mat before closing the door behind himself. He smiled at the sight of his nephew snuggled up with Ellie as they watched the same movie for easily the hundredth time. He thought fondly of sitting in that same position with Sarah watching Free Willy over and over. Her love for animals dictated even her movie choices at that age.
âGet it all fixed up, big brother?â Tommy asked clapping him on the shoulder.
âShouldnât be any more lambs sneaking into the greenhouse,â he said confidently, shedding his jacket to make his way into the kitchen with the other adults.
Dinner went on without a hitch. Maria prepared some delicious chicken and rice in a cream sauce. She used some of the last of the late summer blackberries to whip up a simple cobbler for dessert.
Once they had all had their fill and pushed back from the table, Maria led the attack.
âSo, Joel, I understand you have a birthday coming up,â she said coolly.
He snorted and shrugged, âJust another day.â
âWhat if you did something this year?â Tommy suggested nonchalantly, jaw resting in his hand, elbow propped up on the table.
Joel drew his eyebrows together, âNow hold on, whatâs goinââ
âI want to take you to Colorado!â Ellie blurted.
Joel turned to face her. âColorado? What? Why?â
âIâve got it all mapped out and everything. Itâs a surprise though, you canât know until we get there,â she said quickly, grabbing the map from her bag and shoving it into his hands.
Joel looked from the map across the table to his brother with confusion painted on his face.
âThatâll take weeks, we canât jusââ
âMaria said yes,â Ellie quickly cut him off.
Maria nodded, the look on her face confirming the accusation. âWe can spare you two and a couple of horses for that long. As long as you look around and try to bring back anything you think could be useful, thatâs all I ask,â she said with a shrug, drawing a long sip of coffee from the faded blue mug in front of her.
âWeâd need to leave by Saturday if weâre gonna get there on time,â Ellie explained outlining the carefully drawn route she had agonized over.
âAlright, kiddo, you lead the way,â he smiled at her, eyes crinkling at the edges.
She smiled warmly while he laced an arm around her waist and brought her in for a squeeze, pressing a small kiss to her bare arm.
The pair spent the next few days gathering supplies and packing their bags. They counted on being able to hunt for most of their meals, bringing a large stash of jerky as a last resort. Ellie was getting pretty good with a rifle. She was itching to be able to join the patrol rotation in the spring when she turned eighteen.
Joel kept trying to get her to slip up and tell her the reason for the trip, but she just rolled her eyes every time.
âIâm not telling you, so quit guessing.â
Saturday morning rolled around, and the two were at the stables at dawn loading up their horses. Joel was on Callus, Ellie paired with a white and grey speckled mare named Andromeda. At least thatâs what Ellie called her. Sheâs always picked stars and constellations saying their given names were too boring.
With a couple of extra bags secured for supplies to bring back, the two headed out, Ellie taking the lead. The last of the August heat had faded as September swept in with a chill. Ellie had the sleeves of her flannel rolled up, and the hairs on the bits of her forearm that were exposed were standing on end. Her hair was getting longer, she had taken to pulling half of it back to keep it out of her eyes just like Tess wore it. Whether that decision was subconscious or an homage to their fallen friend, the small reminder sent a pang through Joelâs chest the first few times he saw her like that.
He sat back in awe, reveling in how much she had grown since they first met in Boston. He never thought heâd get another chance to see a kid grow up. Itâs like she picked up right where Sarah left off, a little gift from the universe to mend his heart back together.
After they had been on the road for about an hour, Joel spoke up, âCan I get some puns, Ellie girl?â
She turned over her shoulder to give him a mischievous grin. âI came prepared!â she called back, waving No Pun Intended Vol. 2 in the air. She had tied it to her waist with her jacket for easy access. She flipped to the spot she had dog-eared and let out a groan, âAw man, this page is ripped.â
âOh no,â Joel called back.
âYeah, itâs pretty tear-able.â
âJesus,â he snorted, erupting into a chuckle.
They took 191 South straight down into Utah, only making it in to Colorado with two days remaining of their three week trek.
They settled for the night just after crossing the state line as indicated by the faded road sign they passed, settling by an old rest stop Joel said was for tractor trailers that used to drive across the country. They fed and watered the horses and set up camp on the backside of the concrete structure. The pair had been lucky enough to not see another soul so far, but he had reluctantly agreed to split the watch shifts with Ellie so they could both get some rest.
A few days back, they had found some canned goods, and so were helping themselves to a meal of jerky, lima beans, and corn. They fire crackled like popcorn kernels jumping from their shells. Joel said that meant the wood had a little extra moisture in it and hadnât dried properly.
âAre you gonna tell me where weâre goinâ now?â
âWeâre headed towards the White River,â Ellie responded, scraping the last bits of corn out of the can with her fork and setting it beside her with a contented sigh.
âTowards?â he raised his eyebrow questioningly.
âWill you just trust me old man? No more questions,â she chastised, her tone of voice lighthearted.
âFine,â he grumbled, trying to seem discontent, but, truthfully, he had loved all the one on one time this trip had provided them. Between school, running around with her friends, and spending every free second at the stables, Joel felt like he was losing his grip on her. Not that he held with a tight fist by any means, but she was growing up, branching out. It hurt like hell and was beautiful all at the same time, like watching your baby taking their first wobbly steps, knowing you need to keep your distance or theyâll never keep going. But the fear of seeing them fall was thick in the air, even if it would only hurt for a second. He experienced this with Sarah, but never to this degree. If Sarah made it to her age, sheâd probably have a license, a job, a boyfriend. Joel smiled sadly into the flames, eyes flitting to his shattered watch face. What he wouldnât give to hold her just one more time.
âIâll take first watch,â Ellie announced, standing up and breaking his concentration.
He nodded and pulled out his sleeping bag. Ellie tossed him hers so he could double up and try to take some of the sharpness out of the hard ground. He fell asleep thinking of Sarah, of her melodic laugh and soft brown eyes. He didnât often get good dreams of her, even still, so he held on to this one with white knuckles.
Ellie saw him tensing in his sleep, fists clenching and unclenching. She wondering if the nightmares would ever fade for either of them. If he was still fighting his monsters, she figured she would be for a long, long time. Sentenced to a life of dreading eveningâs gentle tide that would inevitably turn into thrashing waves.
Just one more day of traveling, she told herself, this would all be worth it, make everything feel a little lighter.
Another day of travel brought them another twenty miles closer. They would reach their destination by early the following morning, landing perfectly on Joelâs birthday. Ellie hoped with everything she knew how that everything would work out, that they would still be there. What if she brought him all this way for nothing. He noticed how she had retreated into herself the closer they got to her pencil mark on the map.
On the morning of his birthday, they packed up early to head out by dawn. Just one more quick stint and theyâd be able to settle down for a few days, let the horses rest.
They had broken away from the highway long ago. The usual clopping of hooves muffled by soft grass underfoot. A low fog hung over the ground, the glimmering green blades longing for the sunâs rays to warm their bones once again. Soft light was breaking through the trees overhead, streaming through the gaps in the branches where the leaves had already let go. Ellie hadnât said a word the whole time.
Joel cleared his throat, deciding to speak to the palpable apprehension he sensed, âEllie? I just wanted you to know, darlinâ, that even if this doesnât work out the way you planned,â he paused, âEven if we canât find what you were hoping for, I really loved spending this time with you kiddo.â
Right when he said that, something caught her eye in the clearing. She tried not to scream with excitement.
âWeâre here!â she announced triumphantly. She pulled back on Andromedaâs reins to stop her completely. Joel followed suit, swinging down from Callus with ease. Ellie had been following the signs leading them through a long forgotten park. There was a bit of a fence left near the clearing that they tied the horses too, planning to let them free to roll in the grass and stretch their legs the rest of the day.
âSo whatâs the big deal?â Joel asked, trailing behind Ellie as they neared the edge of the clearing that stopped at the top of a hill.
âShhh,â Ellie hushed him, grabbing his hand to lead him forward.
Below them lay a valley filled with thousands of monarch butterflies. Most of them were resting in the cooler, shaded part, but where the sunâs rays had crested the treetops and gently floated down to the ground, there were hundreds of them already in the air. Flashes of orange and black against the cloudless sky.
âI thought you might wanna spend your birthday with Sarah this year,â she said sheepishly, suddenly overcome with the feeling that he might think this was a stupid gesture.
Joel pulled her into a tight hug. Her arms reluctantly wrapped around him.
âThank you, baby,â was all he could choke out. Joel tried his best to blink back the tears, but a few streamed down his cheeks.
When he finally pulled away, Ellie cleared her throat this time, âThey donât stay forever, letâs get down there,â she smiled.
Joel returned the smile and took her hand back in his. Together, they carefully made their way down the hill, still slick from dew, until they found themselves carefully stepping over the still sleeping creatures.
The butterflies seemed utterly unbothered by their presence, floating close enough to touch. Joel lifted a finger out and one immediately lit on it. He tried to keep his chuckle in, not wanting to startle it.
Ellie couldnât keep the grin off her face. She had never seen him look so young, so alive. She let him make his way over to a rock jutting out from the opposite hill walling in the valley. He sat down on it carefully and stilled his breathing. Sure enough, four, five, six monarchs were resting on him. Ellie pulled her sketchbook out of her backpack and started outlining the scene. She spread out on a particularly sunny patch of grass, stretched out on her stomach with her legs straight behind her, and got to work.
They stayed there for a long time. The monarchs woke up in waves as the sun climbed higher in the sky, then they were off to continue their journey.
When there were only a few dozen left, Joel broke the silence.
âMan, she wouldâve loved this,â he said wistfully.
âHopefully you did too,â Ellie said sleepily, pulling herself up from her spot in the grass and crossing closer to him.
âHow could I not? Got to spend the day with both of my girls,â he smiled, pulling her in for another embrace.
âJoel, look,â she gasped, pointing to the sky as another wave flew directly overhead the valley.

What are your thoughts on 1975 fans trying to attribute a lot of Easter eggs to Matty in the new video? :( Someone on Twitter put a visual together of all the highlights and itâs so annoying because when itâs laid out like that I see it and I hate that I see it. Just like lighting visuals being very similar, and particular dates being significant to the 1975 and/or Taylor. For example, the July 9th 1:38 people are saying is for Taylor and Mattyâs birthdays (the 13th and the 8th). I guess the timeline makes sense because early April when she filmed this video would have been around the time when she was hanging out with him and doing whatever pr nightmare that wasâŚtalk me off the ledge pls! Lol.
Hi!
Don't worry, I went and check the threads you were talking about and I'm confident that it's not related or at least not as they think.
The lighting in I Can See You Lyrics Video is the bisexual lighting and fits really well with the theme of the song.
Her comparing being in love with another woman to being a spy and having to navigate cautiously to not be seen.
The spy scene is remisnescent of a commercial she did:
(X)
And what she was trying to protect back then in the briefcase was a microphone you know to "Speak Now" maybe...
The videoclip has a lot of references to Look What You Made Me Do both MV and Eras Tour number, and I think it's very important and meant to point at Karma.
A girl, that is remisnecent of Lizz comes and save her with her beard at the time that shielded her.
All her outfit of her public appearance (X) emprisonned behing glass.
Side note on all of this is reminescent of the Tom Ford commercial Karlie did not long ago
With the lyrics video too:
Her being locked up in a Vault. With an orange door.
And the Eclipsed Sun imagery (do with that that you will ;-) )
Also some Karlie's parallel:
With Long Live lyrics on her arm.
"I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you"
Long Live was written a month after Chely Wright came out. And if you take the time to really look at the lyrics, you see how well this all fits together.
Someone counted all the marks on the wall, and there's 1468 lines/days.
The exact number of days between when her masters got stolen and her releasing Speak Now Taylor's Version (X)
When she's finally free. All the glass closet shatter.
And even more. The building holding her captive explodes once and for all.
The person who help her escape has stars on her right side (Eye theory I'm looking at you)
Stars on the face are there always to depict Taylor Swift TM public personna.
And she's the only one that can actually see Taylor and help her out.
Some say it might be gaylors, who can actually see the real Taylor.
But whoever this person is meant to represent.
She codes...
And has a ring on her right ring finger....
Now the dates:
It's tonight.
Remembre how Taylor said that Speak Now her version would be out on July 7th just in time for July 9th where we would be able to celebrate?
Now the time 1:38. The mission starts at that time. But how much time would it take to get her out? 20 minutes maybe?
Wich leads to: "Lit through the darkness at 1:58" and "That July ninth, the beat of your heart"
Both lyrics from last kiss.
To me it does sound like a rendez-vous. Now the only thing to determine is: is it 1:38 ET or 1:38 Liverpool time wich would be 8:38 ET (just before Taylor goes on stage for the show tonight).
And notice that in the countdown yesterday. Beside the clock in the front, every other clocks pointed to 1:58
And the other date is where it gets really interesting...
I found this last night.
May 22 2020
Here's what happened for Taylor on that date:
And when you type the adress, you are still led to her website with this ULR message:
"they wouldn't me do it Karma" (X)
And yes, I think it is exactly what you think it is...
Remembre how last week right before Karlie posted 6 palm trees (Karma was supposed to be TS 6th album)
The URL on karmaonthewall.com changed for "after Midnights it starts" to "Ready For It"
Suki, Austin and Kristine Karlie's sister also posted palm trees last week....
Here's a post I did about how Ready For It is relevent for all of this (X)
So yeah... everything in that MV is sooo important.
Nothing is related to Matty.
Now we just have to wait and see. And show a lot of support and love for that amazing woman who's been throught so much and deserves the world.
And after this URL change of last night... I think we can safely agree that karmaonthewall.com is really related to Taylor too...

âWhy is it so fucking busy?â Ronan said, scanning the absolutely packed movie theatre in an effort to track down their seats. âThis isnât even a new release.â
âShhh,â Gansey hissed, managing to be a lot louder than Ronan had been.
âDonât shush me, it hasnât even fucking started yet.â
âI know, I know, but language, Ronan. There could be kids here.â
âWell there shouldnât be, isnât this an R-rated movie?â
âOh, like youâve never snuck into an R-rated movie before.â
Ronan hadnât, actually. The only person he wouldâve done so with was Gansey, and their tastes in movies very rarely aligned. The only reason they were even here now was because Ronan was restless and Gansey wanted to get him out of the apartment but not on his own â a restless Ronan was often a destructive one, apparently. For all intents and purposes, he was being babysat. â...Have you?â
Gansey waved this away as irrelevant, and then stopped sharply as he found the right aisle, already mostly full. Gansey led the way, whispering apologies as they squeezed past people to reach their own seats, using the light of his phone to check the chair numbers and make sure they had the right ones.
They found them, Gansey checking and then double-checking that they were correct before he let Ronan sit down. He immediately slouched down in the seat, propping his boots up against the back of the seat in front until Gansey glared him into submission. Ronan sighed and crossed his arms, already regretting this. He couldnât sit still enough for the movies.Â
The seat on Ganseyâs other side was occupied, but Ronanâs was free so far; he hoped it remained that way so he could stretch out a bit. He pulled the empty seat down and then let it go again a few times, the squeak it made as satisfying to him as it was probably annoying to everyone in earshot. He caught the eye of the girl on the other side of said seat, and she gave him a glare that outmatched the one Gansey had given him before, but Ronan just raised an unconcerned eyebrow at her until she scowled and looked away. He did at least stop messing with the seat, though.
The screen came to life with no warning, the accompanying noise making Ronan jolt in surprise. He supposed heâd have to get used to jump-scares for the next couple of hours; it was Friday Fright Night at the movie theatre, in which they showed some back-catalogue horror movie every week. Tonight it was The Descent, a movie Ronan hadnât seen, but which Matthew had informed him was âscary as balls.â Ronan was generally fine with scary movies, but heâd felt twitchy and off-kilter all day and had a feeling it wouldnât be a good mix. Maybe some food would be a good idea. He reasoned there would be plenty of general commercials before the trailers started, and elbowed Gansey in the arm. âIâm getting popcorn, you want anything?â
âRonan, I asked you when we were in the foyer, you said you werenât hungry.â
âI changed my mind, so sue me,â Ronan said, getting to his feet. âExcuse me,â he said with exaggerated politeness and a cheery grin to the girl whoâd scowled at him, and she pulled her feet back with obvious reluctance.
Out in the foyer, Ronan joined the back of the line for the concession stand. A text came through from Gansey â get me gummy bears and a coke please â and Ronan snorted. âIs he five fucking years old?â
The person in front of him in line turned around. âIâm sorry, did you say something?â
âHey man, I wasnât talking to you.â Ronan looked up from his phone and immediately lost all train of thought at the sight of the dusty-haired, blue-eyed boy now staring at him. âHoly shit.â Oops.
The guy half-cocked his head to the side, his eyes wary and confused. âWhat?â
âWhat?â Ronan repeated, like an idiot. He shook his head. âNothing.â Oh god. His mouth went dry. He could feel his hands clamming up. And the guy just kept staring at him. Ronan pointed past the weirdly hot stranger. âHey look, youâre next.â
âOh.â He turned back around and stepped up to the counter as Ronan waited for the ground to swallow him whole. This didnât usually happen to him; he had absolutely no idea how to proceed.
Soon enough, the boy was handed his popcorn and drink and left â seeming to very deliberately not look Ronanâs way as he did â and Ronan let out a breath as he walked towards the concession stand. He ordered what Gansey wanted and then the largest size popcorn available, just so it would take them a little longer to do and give him time to sort himself out.
Treats acquired, Ronan headed back to the movie. The screen was still showing regular commercials even though heâd been gone a good few minutes â that was capitalism for you â but at least he hadnât missed any of the trailers. He liked watching movie trailers because most of them looked like they would be terrible, which greatly appealed to Ronanâs often judgemental nature.
He made his way up the steps, careful not to spill any of his popcorn or Ganseyâs drink. He was so distracted by this task that he almost missed the right aisle. There was much grumbling from the others in the aisle when he started squeezing on through to get to his seat, as Ronan was much less polite about it than Gansey had been earlier on. He stepped past the scowling girl again, and the seat beside her was no longer empty. Standing up to let Ronan go by easier was none other than the cute guy from the foyer, now eye to eye with Ronan once again.
He actually did a double-take. âOh shit, itâs you.â
âOh shit, itâs me,â the boy agreed solemnly.
âAdam, do you know him?â the girl asked, and if Ronan was that way inclined he could have kissed her for finally providing Ronan with a name. It almost made him regret being so passive aggressive before.
âNope,â Adam said, and sat back down.
âWell, not yet,â Ronan said, and then sat down himself. âBut look at that, weâre neighbours.â
âLucky me,â Adam said dryly.
Ronan grinned, then turned to Gansey. âHereâs your munchies, Dick.â
âThanks,â Gansey said, taking them from Ronan. He nodded his head down towards Adam and companion. âMaking friends?â
âYou know me,â Ronan said, shovelling a handful of popcorn into his mouth. âSocial butterfly.â
He perched his elbow on the very edge of the adjoining armrest and desperately tried to keep himself from looking at Adam. Luckily, the trailers finally started which gave Ronan a handy distraction, but the urge was still there, to see if he looked and Adam looked back.
Despite having been looking forward to them, Ronan barely noticed the trailers. Nothing seemed comically bad enough for him to enjoy, nor did they seem genuinely good enough for him to feel in any way invested. None were as interesting to him as the boy sitting beside him. Ronan had never had his interest piqued in someone so quickly before. He was glad of the popcorn to keep his hands busy, although he really should have gotten a smaller size; heâd hardly made a dent in it and he was already getting sick of it.
After what felt like forever, the lights fully dimmed, signalling the start any second now. âHow long is this movie?â Ronan whispered to Gansey.
Gansey shrugged. âLike an hour and a half, I think? A little over, maybe.â
Ninety minutes or so. That wasnât so bad. Ronan could sit still and be quiet and look straight ahead for ninety minutes.
To be fair, the movie did a decent enough job at drawing him in, enough that he relaxed a little and leaned back in the chair. He picked up the drink from the cupholder on the armrest and took a long sip through the straw.
âThatâs uhâŚthatâs mine,â came a quiet voice, and Ronan looked to the left to see Adam staring at him again. Ronanâs eyes darted to and from Adam and the drink in his hand, then he slowly put it back in the cupholder.Â
âSo it is,â he said. He couldnât believe heâd done that. He didnât even have a drink.
Thankfully, Adam looked more amused than annoyed, at least sort of; he didnât exactly smile but there was something in the shape of his eyebrows that seemed to convey humour. And all of a sudden Ronan realised theyâd been looking at each other for too long.
âSorry,â he muttered, and diverted his attention back to the screen.
The Descent, Ronan was finding, was a very claustrophobic movie, seeing as it predominantly took place in a cave system. When the first of the creepy Gollum-like creatures showed up on-screen, Ronan was so on edge that he grabbed what he thought was just going to be a part of the armrest, but actually turned out to be Adamâs hand.
Mortified, he let go immediately, and this time didnât look to see if Adam had reacted at all. He at least didnât say anything, and Ronan managed to relax for a little bit until another one of the little bastards jumped out of nowhere and he did it again.
Like the first time, Ronan swiftly let go, but this time thanks to his heart racing from both the jumpscare and the embarrassment, he covered his face with his hands, mumbling, âJesus H Christ, get it together.â
âUm, are you okay?â Adam whispered.
Ronan gave him a thumbs up without looking his way. âFuckinâ peachy, thanks for asking.â
âAlright, as long as youâre not having a panic attack.â
Ronan did lift his head now, and gave Adam a sardonic smile. Adam smiled back and shrugged, before looking back at the screen, and Ronan did the same, willing his heart to slow. Now Adam was going to think he was a giant baby who scared easily.
Determined not to accidentally hold Adamâs hand again, Ronan instead put both hands on either side of his bucket of popcorn and held on tight. Of course, this meant that when the next jumpscare happened, Ronan jolted and popcorn went everywhere; all over him, all over Adam and Gansey, and all over the people in the row in front.
Amid copious annoyed groans and hissed âHey!âs, Ronan said, in a complete monotone, âMy bad.â
Still brushing popcorn off himself, Adam snorted a laugh and then immediately clapped a hand over his mouth as if surprised it had happened. He caught Ronanâs gaze and shook his head, the cheer still glinting in his eyes.
He took the bucket of popcorn from Ronan and put it on the floor, then sighed and put his arm on the armrest, palm up. He looked at Ronan meaningfully and then back at the screen.
Ronan stared at Adamâs hand. He felt so sure that this was an invitation, but was momentarily paralysed, because what if it wasnât? What if he held Adamâs hand but he snatched it away? Then again, heâd already done it twice so far tonight, and heâd been the first to let go both times.
Ronan took a breath. He placed his hand in Adamâs. And immediately, Adamâs hand closed around his.
Gun to his head, Ronan couldnât have told anyone what happened in the rest of that movie. He was too busy cataloguing everything he could about Adamâs hand to notice anything else; the callouses that suggested some sort of manual labour, the long, almost elegant fingers, the roughness of his knuckles, how both of their hands got clammy after a while and still neither of them let go, not once, not until the credits started to roll.Â
It was Gansey who brought him out of his reverie. âI swear Iâm never going to get popcorn smell out of my clothes,â he said. âUgh, I think thereâs some in my shirt. I need to bounce up and down and make sure itâs all dislodged.â
âUh huh, you should do that then,â Ronan said, but when he turned back around, Adam and his friend were already gone. They must have been very quick off the mark. Utterly deflated, Ronan got to his feet. He dusted some wayward popcorn out of Ganseyâs hair. âCâmon, letâs go.â
On their way back to the foyer, Ronan went to use the bathroom, telling Gansey heâd meet him by the exit. He felt really tired all of a sudden, annoyed he hadnât had a chance to speak to Adam afterwards, and knowing he was probably never going to run into him again.
He was just washing his hands when Adam walked in. Maybe the universe was paying attention.
âHi,â Adam said.
âHi yourself,â Ronan replied, pleased that heâd managed to sound relatively cool and collected instead of the nervous wreck he was.
âSome movie, huh?â Adam made no move towards any of the stalls, which made Ronan think that the only reason heâd come in here was to talk to him, the thought of which made him feel like he might be glowing a little bit.
âRemind me not to go spelunking anytime soon,â he said.
âWill do,â Adam smiled. He ran a hand through his hair. âSo listen, is it okay if you tell me your name?â
âYou wanna know my name?â
âWell yeah, I canât keep calling youââ Adam cut himself off very quickly. âI held your hand for like an hour, man, I need a name for you.â
Ronan grinned. âWhat have you been calling me in your head?â
Adam shook his head. âLook, my name is Adam Parrish. Now you go.â
âRonan,â he said. âRonan Lynch.â
Adam nodded. âThatâs a very good name.â
âIsnât it?â
Ronan finished drying his hands and moved towards the door, Adam falling into step beside him as they left the bathroom.
âThereâs a sequel to The Descent, you know,â Adam said conversationally.Â
âI didnât.â
âYeah. Itâs gonna be next weekâs Friday Fright Night,â he shrugged, âif you, I dunno, wanted to go or something?â
Ronan was pretty sure he was being asked out. âOh, fuck no, can we do something else instead?â
Adam went on a little face journey as he processed what Ronan had said, but then he finally nodded, relieved. âWhat did you have in mind?â
âI donât know yet,â Ronan said. âLeave it with me, Iâll figure it out.â He passed Adam his phone. âHere, put your number in there.â
Adam handed it back apologetically. âI donât have a cellphone.â
âNo?â
âBut I can use the phone at work.â
âYou got a pen?â
Adam did not have a pen, but Ronan knew someone who always did, and hurried over to Gansey to borrow one.
He ignored Ganseyâs questions and went back to Adam, grabbing his hand and writing his number on the back of it. âI guess youâre calling me, then.â He finished writing it down, holding onto Adamâs hand just a moment longer than was strictly necessary.
âI guess I am,â Adam said. By now, his friend had drifted over to Gansey, obviously noticing that they were waiting for the same people. Gansey was talking to her very animatedly, and she looked slightly charmed, and also somehow annoyed that she was charmed. Gansey managed to have that effect on an alarming number of people.
âWe better go, my friend is probably about to talk your friend into a coma.â
âOh, yeah, thatâs Blue. We were kinda on a date.â
Ronan froze. âYou were on a date?â
Adam nodded. He seemed almost as confused by the situation as Ronan was.
Ronan couldnât help it; he burst out laughing. âI donât know how to break this to you, but I donât think itâs going that well.â
âNo, I donât think it is.â He shrugged. âI guess thatâs what I get for holding someone elseâs hand through most of the movie.â
He didnât even remotely look torn up about it. And neither, to be fair, did Blue.
âYeah, youâre not allowed to do that on our date,â Ronan said, and pressed his hand to his chest solemnly. âIâm sensitive.â
Adam smiled. He leaned forward and kissed Ronan on the cheek. âIâll keep that in mind.â

Free Commercial Lighting Upgrade in NSW
If you are a NSW business owner and youâre looking to improve the efficiency of your lighting, there are a number of government programs available.
The Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) helps to lower energy bills by providing incentives for businesses that install energy-efficient equipment. These financial rewards are given in the form of ESCs (energy savings certificates), which are then sold to an energy retailer. To know more about Commercial Lighting Upgrade, visit the Energy Power Saver website or call 69650912468.
If youâre a NSW business owner, youâre eligible for a free commercial lighting upgrade. The offer is part of the NSW Governmentâs Energy Saving Scheme (ESS), which cuts electricity and gas use by creating financial incentives for households and businesses.
Upgrading your lights to LED will help you save on your energy bill. Youâll also benefit from better light quality, lower maintenance costs and reduced environmental impact.
LEDs are environmentally friendly and do not contain mercury, like many traditional light sources. This makes them a great choice for any business concerned about their impact on the environment.
If youâre interested in a commercial lighting upgrade, contact the team at Easy Being Green today to request your free assessment. An LED consultant will be in touch within 24 hours to discuss your needs and arrange a time for a visit. We will make sure your new lights are installed properly to ensure they last as long as possible and look their best.
The Energy Savings Scheme is a government incentive program that offers financial incentives to reduce your electricity bill by upgrading to energy efficient equipment. It is designed to help NSW households and businesses cut power usage and protect themselves from rising costs in the future.
If you are an energy consuming small business, you may be eligible for a commercial lighting upgrade under the ESS. Approved suppliers can explain the ESS process and assist you to claim the rebate.
Once a project is completed CRI will create Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) to register and sell on behalf of the purchaser. These are digital and tradeable certificates which represent 1 tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent of energy savings.
ESCs can be used to offset the cost of the lighting upgrade and are usually included as part of your quote from CRI. This is known as the ESC rebate and will be clearly identified on any quotations that are provided to you prior to the project being completed.
Upgrading to energy-efficient LED lighting is an attractive way to save money on energy bills. However, an upgrade can also represent a significant up-front investment for the business.
Thankfully, government incentives for LED lighting offer businesses and commercial property owners a way to offset these upfront costs while still recognizing energy savings. These programs are typically offered through your utility company, but they are also available directly from the federal, state, and local governments.
These incentives are designed to lower the need for up-front investments and help keep your cash in your business. They can be particularly beneficial for smaller companies or those who have a limited amount of funding for energy efficiency projects. To know more about Commercial Lighting Upgrade, visit the Energy Power Saver website or call 69650912468.
One of the most effective and cost efficient ways for a commercial or industrial facility to save money and reduce emissions is by upgrading to the latest in LED lighting technology. There are several reasons for this, including reduced energy bills, a less cluttered working environment and increased safety for employees and customers alike. Despite the fact that the best lights have been around for the past couple of years, there are still many companies that have yet to take advantage of the opportunity to get their feet wet in the world of green energy. Energy Power Saver is no exception to this, the company has been a trailblazer in helping businesses and the public to make the transition to greener alternatives for the better part of a decade. They have a comprehensive range of LED products to suit the needs of any sized business, with some offerings able to meet the demands of even the largest of agglomerations.

Stacking LEDs instead of placing them side by side could enable fully immersive virtual reality displays
Take apart your laptop screen, and at its heart you'll find a plate patterned with pixels of red, green, and blue LEDs, arranged end to end like a meticulous Lite Brite display. When electrically powered, the LEDs together can produce every shade in the rainbow to generate full-color displays. Over the years, the size of individual pixels has shrunk, enabling many more of them to be packed into devices to produce sharper, higher-resolution digital displays.
But much like computer transistors, LEDs are reaching a limit to how small they can be while also performing effectively. This limit is especially noticeable in close-range displays such as augmented and virtual reality devices, where limited pixel density results in a "screen door effect" such that users perceive stripes in the space between pixels.
Now, MIT engineers have developed a new way to make sharper, defect-free displays. Instead of replacing red, green, and blue light-emitting diodes side by side in a horizontal patchwork, the team has invented a way to stack the diodes to create vertical, multicolored pixels.
Each stacked pixel can generate the full commercial range of colors and measures about 4 microns wide. The microscopic pixels, or "micro-LEDs," can be packed to a density of 5,000 pixels per inch.
