Kino Gorgote (born June 12th, 1972) (Age 51), also known as Forenzik or Freddrick Gorgote, is the main antagonist of Happy Appy and the son of Kristoffer Holzer. He is a lanky, tall masked man who stalks Gerasim Yakovlev after watching the first 10 episodes of Happy Appy. After a while, his identity is revealed to be Freddrick Gorgote. In 2013, Dronian posted a code that revealed That his step-brother is Gerasim Yakovlev. He is the primary antagonist of the original Happy Appy creepypasta, as well as its sequel, Happy Appy 2: Dumb Angel. He is also the protagonist of the prequel story Forenzik.

Forenzik’s gibberish strings, DECIPHERED!

If you’ve ever read Happy Appy 1, you’ve probably wondered what the three gibberish strings were all about. You know, the ones shown when Gerasim gets the Helper badge, or when Forenzik left the files on his computer. Well, Gerasim guessed correctly on their purpose! All three strings are codes; Vigenere ciphers, to be exact. 

And for the first time ever (I think), their messages have been deciphered and recovered! All done by yours truly, as I made them and I should be the one to decipher them once and for all. You can even follow along by using this link and the Vigenere ciphers on the right-hand menu.

(Although, to be honest, all of the keys to solving them were character names, so anyone could’ve cracked at least one of these...)

Enough talk. Let’s get onto the codes, shall we? We should start with the two that Gerasim finds on the back of the Happy Appy Helper Badge note...

CODE 1 - MSCPBSPOWSDCAZUONGWSEDVJNY

This one is real simple: it’s just a regular Vigenere cipher, no alphabet keys or autokeys or whatever. The passphrase is “FORENZIK”, and the deciphered message is “HELLOTHEREMYNAMEISFORENZIK”.

Yes, I know. Gerasim would need to know Forenzik’s nickname in order to decipher the message that’s supposed to reveal his nickname. It should’ve been something like “HAPPYAPPY” instead. 

Don’t think too hard about it.

CODE 2 - MZPZQLQHNREFBGHSCWFONXBULOILLWEJOCZJKN

This code uses an autokey Vigenere cipher. It’s much more complex! It has a custom alphabet sequence as opposed to the regular one, which requires a secondary key to unlock. In addition, both the passphrase and unaltered message are used to encrypt the message, as opposed to the passphrase repeating multiple times.

Phew! That’s enough explaining. Here’s the answer. The alphabet key is “FREDDRICK”, and the passphrase is “GORGOTE”. Using both keys on the string will reveal this hidden message; 

“IHOPETOKILLYOUINTHEFUTUREMISTERGERASIM”

Again, this message would’ve been more effective and less nonsensical had the two keys been something like “FORENZIK”...

CODE 3 - ADVMETOVPTMTCNZHQMDTTZSME

And finally, the code that Forenzik left for Gerasim on his computer.

You’d expect this code to be even tougher than the second one, right? Nah. It’s actually a regular keyed Vigenere cipher. It still needs an alphabet key, sure, but the message is only encrypted with a repeating passphrase. A bit simpler, I think!

Both keys were easy to find, as they were Gerasim’s first and last names. With the alphabet key “GERASIM” and the passphrase “YAKOVLEV”, this final message can be deciphered. It reads as follows; 

“IMCOMINGTOTAKEYOUAWAYHAHA”

Stay classy, Freddrick. Hopefully you can grace us with more Vigenere ciphers in the three years you have left to live. OOPS, SPOILERS

Nice to see you back! what made you come back too tumblr of all places? Do you have any future plans for Happy Appy? and are you able to say a little bit about some of freddricks family? Such as Kristoffer or Rosa?

I’m still not sure why. Curiosity is my best guess.

I do have future plans for the series, yes. But they don’t involve completing On the Run Again or Land of the Dronese. You’ll find out once it’s done.

Rosa’s parents used to own the house that would eventually become the Gorgote Farm. Once they both died, Rosa had it all to herself. During this time, she dated (and broke up with) this dude named Tygo. He’s still alive and living in Denmark.

Despite their short relationship, they had one child, Johnny. Later, she met up with Kristoffer and had Kino and Sharon.

As for Kristoffer, when the asylum was closing down in 1989, he escaped into the woods. He was never seen again and is still missing.
