I know I've been missing for quite a long time and I'm terribly sorry for leaving without telling anyone. I've been visiting my mother back in the temple with Crystal. We had such a wonderful time!

But when we had to go back I realized that I was lost. Again. I'm not very good at directions...

So we spent a few weeks lost in the woods until I eventually found the way back to the Carnivale.

*The Baron, after some time, returned to his shared tent with Ella. Fog began to flow through the tent, shimmering with pink and white neon colors, making for quite the beautiful display. Jazz also began to play, much softer and sweeter than its usual ominous tone*

*The Baron dramatically emerged from the fog, giving Ella a charming smirk, holding a rolled-up contract in one of his hands. Ella giggled softly, amused by his antics as always. He rolled the contract open, and she gasped, bright eyes shimmering with awe*

*Within the contract was a small cigar box, lined with pink lace. He knelt down, and popped open the box, revealing an engagement ring, with a shimmering pink pearl atop a pitch-black onyx base for said ring* "Wanna be my Baroness, darlin'?" *He said, smirking up at her. She shrieked with joy, nodding as she practically hopped up and down where she stood* "Oh yes yes yes!" *She scooped up the box, then quickly rushed to him, grasping him into a tight hug*

The metalhead stops still as he hears the unexpected voice in the dark. He'd truly thought that she'd be sleeping by now, that he could slip out to relieve her of the burden of looking after him any longer. Sure, nothing had changed but that didn't mean it wouldn't. It didn't mean that he'd not get her whole life taken from her just for helping him. She was too nice for that and he already carried the weight of Chrissy's death on his back, he didn't want another life ruined. Not bothering to hide his expression in the dark, he turns to look at her with a frown. -- ❝Don't worry, I was gonna keep my head down- just wanted to go outside for a smoke. I'll be back in ten minutes tops.❞ A lie. He's sure she won't be seeing him again, at least if he can help it.

A day off

*Fidi was laying in her tent’s floor, flipping through a book without paying much attention. She was starting to doze when a little mouse entered the tent and ran in front of her. She quickly trapped it with her tail and shoved it down her mouth, swallowing it whole*

*The day in the freakshow had passed without anything interesting going on, quite a calm (and boring) day, if you asked her. Ella was busy talking with her boyfriend, and Sage was with his bugs, leaving her without anyone to be with, given that the twins had been distant with her since she arrived*
