I just went to the best cover band concert I've ever seen.
for free.
sometimes I do love small towns.
#frankly they were better live than maaaaany famous-er bands. gr10 vocals good melody charisma off the charts#i actually liked their versions better than many of the originals LOL. sadly i could only find a small handful of them online#they were also a gr10 test to how melody/vocLs vs. lyrics fare for me because the lyrics are obviously the same#(and WONDERFUL. something spain isn't lacking in is singer songwriters lol)#but most of the originals go between meh to unlistenable for me. while the covers elevated those amazing lyrics to the stratosphere#talking to the void#music#patriotic tag#i'm also attending two more (free!) concerts this weekend. again. sometimes... xD
