I've never done OCxKiss but I had so much fun seeing people do it last year!! Doing these mistletoe kisses though is kind of depleting my posing bar but also it's not until February anyway but also maybe I'll do febhyurary if that is happening this year but also I could probably manage a few oc smooches but also who and how would I ask??
Is it like asking people to prom? Do I do a promposal?
(jokes i will just ask for bones if i plan to do it.... but also.... promposal to ask my friends for their ocs for smooching..... would be... very cute....)
#ooc#i truly do not think i have the bandwidth for even febhyurary !!! but!!!! MAYBE#idk it's hard in this community because I don't really do canon x oc ship !! Odette has her WoL!AU with Miniflia but that... ends... and#frankly i don't care about any of the other npcs enough to want to ship with them (': i like NPCs through the eyes of some friends you know#and i like to think about their friendships or rivalries with odette and prudence !!!#but I am an RP girlie all the way down and OC x OC smooching is always better because you get to share the giddiness directly with someone#and it's soooooo scrumptious#se stop killing or sending your women characters away #(always better TO ME i should say i know how some of y'all like to tussle)

EXPERIENCE IN THE RP COMMUNITY | Accepting!
First and foremost, I want to gently stress that this is directed at no one in particular. This is once again just an extremely frequent and irritating pattern I've seen since stepping into and hearing about other RPCs over the years:
Enough of the bisexual erasure.
I enjoy m/m and f/f ships as much as the next person, but some of ya’ll seem to be acting real superior because of it. A male character being in a relationship with a female character does not make them any less queer. Strictly m/m or f/f ships also aren’t inherently more “pure” or “better” than m/f ships. If you want to make your character strictly homosexual? Cool! That’s fantastic, more power to you. HOWEVER. If you act superior about it I hope you step on a lego. Like I’m genuinely about to start throwing hands over this. You are not morally superior because your muses are gay.
AND, ACTUALLY, ON A SIMILAR NOTE—
I am extremely tired of seeing how female muses get sidelined for the more popular male ones. It somewhat ties back into my gripes above, but it genuinely feels like people don't care as much for the female muses because they can """get in the way of""" a m/m ship. (Staring DIRECTLY at you, Hoyo fandom). OR, if someone does pick up a female muse, any and all of their edges are sanded off and the only focus is on how gay she is.
I am sick of it.
If you pick up a female muse, I expect you to pick up everything about her. I don’t care if she’s “too much” for one reason or another, you were clearly drawn to her as a character because of those flaws. Use them. Don’t break them off, don’t go making her more “palatable.” Pick up the character that was shown to you.
"There's nothing substantial!!" then give them something. If I can sit down and turn faceless NPCs into their own characters, you can take a nothingburger female character and make her genuinely interesting. OR, frankly, you completely missed what made her interesting because she stood next to another character.
#Lost In Space; [OOC]#Echos From The Void; [ASK]#((I will fully and readily admit I actually saw a bit of red on this one and i'm aware i'm gonna get pelted BUT.))#((I'm omnisexual myself and fucking. It seems like there's been an extremely HARD pivot in online spaces in a not good direction))#((Genuinely love is fucking love and ALSO. you don't know if someone is strictly heterosexual.))#((Just because someone is in a heterosexual appearing relationship (muses or irl) doesn't mean they are. No one owes you their sexuality.))
