Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster, Sega Saturn. So, there's a Frankenstein game / interactive movie starring Tim Curry. I think that discovering this fact may have provided me with the impetus to finally pick up a working Sega Saturn.

Tim Curry is here to take us through a story that's apparently supposed to have something to do with Frankenstein.

Got an ending! Though there's a lot of mining to do before we get there. You know, the part of the story of Frankenstein where the creature processes and refines rocks in a mine? We all know that part.

Tim Curry gives a wonder performance as Dr. Frankenstein in this late 1997 port of the 1995 PC title. The Saturn version was ported from the Macintosh release and was largely coded by one developer a man named Earl Stratton, you can see the credits at the end of the video. The game uses the Saturn's high resolution mode despite only getting a PAL release, it also appears to run without issue at 60Hz.
The Saturn port plays very well it's fast and smooth and has minimal loading times, in fact it plays better than Myst in that respect on Saturn. It even runs at 60fps but only the cursor uses it, only drawback is the text written in the notes you pick up is very hard to read. By all accounts it's a decent puzzle title that loses its way towards the end. It does feature deaths in game, so be prepared to save often, we showcase one of these deaths at the end of the video, word of advise don't go diving in the ocean.
