GUESS WHAT IM IN ENGLAND [I was at the time of first writing this post but as of this edit I am back now. Been busy lately so didn’t have the time to finish it over vacation. Second edit: so sorry this took so long to post!]

Day 1’s activities included:

-Breakfast at the hotel (very good, excellent setup and quite the variety of foods)

-Walking to Princess Diana’s Memorial Park. It was so sweet seeing all these kids play with one another despite the probability that a few didn’t know English. Behind the pirate ship there was a man made mini pond and some more kids were working together to dig a river that flowed out of it

-Lunch at a pub! Went to The Earl of Lonsdale, they had such delicious food (their hard cider and beer was also good)

-Walked around and did some site seeing. With my family our favorite things to do is to just explore what’s around us and if we think it’s interesting we see what it is and try it (which is how we found lunch and dinner)

-Rained a bit but that was expected…even though no one (in my family) was prepared. Me and my dad stopped at a market stall in Nottinghill and grabbed an umbrella and a hoodie, then we regrouped and headed back to the hotel.

-I took a 2 hour nap. Yup, that’s it, I got back to the hotel and just crashed Lol. While I was napping everyone else went to the pool at our hotel

-woke up at 7pm, then got ready to walk again.

Spoilers we did a lot of walking

we went to this really cool inlet/inlaid whatever you call it food market with Korean barbecue, tacos, one place had schwarma, and sandwiches. I remember getting the korean barbecue (that’s pretty much all I ate that trip i think) and it was rlly good.

BACK TO THE FUTURE THE MUSICAL, I went and saw it on my bday. It was AMAZING.

British museum, me and my dad ended up having to speedrun the rest of it because my little brother was ready to leave. We were bound determined to see the Japanese section which NO ONE TOLD US WAS ON THE FIFTH FLOOR AND THERE WAS A TINY SMALL ELAVATOR THAT WAS CRAMMED WOTJ PEOPLE SO WHEN WE WENT BACK DOWN WE HAD TO USE THE STAIRS-

but it was fun regardless! I got a cool notebook and a little framedpainting of the japanese waves. I also saw the rosetta stone which was in the middle of a hallway-

Oh yeah Victoria and Albert museum, they had so many interesting exhibits that my family had to drag me out of there. I’m pretty sure I ended up with 50 pictures just from their jewelry exhibit alone.

CASTLES, we went to Hampton court and Warwick!! Both I will cherish and remember those experiences forever, Hampton moreso because we went on the hottest day of our trip so we were all dying by the end of it- plus the clock! The clock was cool, and the inside furniture/decor

WARWICK, I LOVED IT. I’m gonna need to make a separate post yapping about how much I would love to go back to Warwick and our first time there
