Ghosts!

in college, several of my dormmates and i had late-afternoon/evening class together. to get to and from this class, there is a shortcut–a short trail that connects the lecture building and the dorms. in the daytime, this trail is very nice and tranquil, and it’s a wonderful place to just walk and have a bit of fresh air. of course, this was during the wintertime, so the sky got darker much faster.

when it gets dark, the path is illuminated by these very dim lights so as to not disturb whatever wildlife may be lurking in the shadows. one night, a couple of us were walking back to the dorms after class and as we walk along the middle of this trail, we hear a repetitive noise. everyone is a little on edge at this point because we can’t pinpoint *exactly* where the sound is coming from, but we know that it is coming from somewhere in front of us. as we approach the middle of the trail, the sound gets louder and louder–a loud, grinding and scratching noise that does not stop for even a second.

a couple of my classmates run for it, squealing as they run along the trail. at this point, two or three of my classmates and i are huddling together, shuffling along this trail in trepidation because we’re (probably) too stupid to run, and as we get to the middle of the trail, we see the source of the grating and scratching sound.

you know what it was?

a raccoon.

a f*cking raccoon was trying to climb up a damn tree.

billy sherwood took to facebook to complain about rick wakeman telling sexual jokes and not talking about chris last night, and not letting scottie squire talk. i get that it's rude of rick to do it but its already blowing up to be much bigger of an issue than it should be

it seems to be more of an issue on facebook, but i think its kinda immature to take over the official yes facebook about this cause it’s really causing a lot of drama, some people dissing billy and saying he didn’t contribute anything to yes etc etc it’s really something that should have been at the very least, been talked about privately before posting it all over facebook
