𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗻 〜 what does your oc wear to sleep? do they have a dedicated set of pajamas or do they just wear whatever?

Sorry this took 900 years!! I think I’ve maybe loosely talked about Maxi and Hex before, but we’ll consider this an updated version lmao

Maxi: If he’s alone, he’ll probably sleep in just boxers, or maybe pajama pants and a tank top depending on the season. If he has you with him, he knows he runs cold, so he’ll definitely have actual pajama pants and probably a t-shirt of some sort. Maxi is kind of an interesting dude when it comes to casual clothes, bc I think his whole suit vibe helps him feel put together/in control, and you’d think he’d be the kind of person who would have coordinating nice grown-up pajama sets or something to match. But nope!! He kind of lets himself go when he sleeps or actually takes time off to be just Around the House for a day, bc he figures a. no one’s going to see him “On” (he doesn’t bother with that in front of Rora and Hex, and he likes letting himself relax around you), and b. it’s the one time of day he doesn’t super have to worry about it. He probably has a bunch of dark pajama pants in a drawer in his dresser, but for t-shirts I see him either pulling out some of the old faded ones he had when he was younger (so lots of faded band, musical, and horror movie tees with cracked decals and rips in the hems) or possibly getting into the habit of stealing some of your old shirts that you save for hanging out. (It’s only fair considering you basically live in his hoodie now, but it is kind of funny sometimes to see a man in his late thirties walk into the kitchen with major bedhead and a shirt of your favorite band or show from when you were, like, in high school. Especially if his tummy pokes out just a little from under the hem bc height difference. I have an MCR t-shirt that’s been ripped to hell and back that I want to get good enough to draw him in, bc omg that would just be too cute.)

…This wasn’t the question, but now I’m what it would take to get Maxi in jeans outside of stalking Reader and their friends to a bar. …Huh. 🧐

Hector: Hex was big into superhero pajamas when he was little, but being on the run road a lot as an adult has really kind of thinned out his wardrobe in a lot of ways. (Why do you think he wears the same hoodie all the goddamn time?? 😂) It’s not that he can’t just go out and buy clothes, it’s that he gets just the tiniest bit twitchy whenever he does - it makes him feel like he’s letting his guard down somehow if he buys things he could actually use and doesn’t just wear the same thing until it’s more holes than fabric. He got in the habit of just sleeping in his boxers or his clothes, depending on where he was staying, but once he starts seeing you on a consistent basis, he’d probably actually bite the bullet and get some cotton or flannel pajama pants so he didn’t freeze you out every night (as he runs much colder than Maxi but still less cold than Rora). Most of his sleep shirts would be touristy shirts he’d managed to pick up in the myriad of places he’s stayed (both bc he was running out of clean clothes and bc why not), but he’d probably keep some black or white cotton shirts around for when you were sleeping over. In the winter he’d even start sleeping in long-sleeve t-shirts and socks along with the pants. (He secretly hates sleeping in socks, but if it means he doesn’t accidentally make you gasp for the wrong reasons in the middle of the night, it’s a sacrifice he’s willing to make.)

(…If you ever wanted to surprise him with a pair of superhero pajamas from the men’s section, he would absolutely fucking melt. Even like a Batman shirt he’d be excited about, fr. And one of those onesies they make nowadays? He’d never take that off, omg.)

Rora: Our girl’s sleep clothes are highly conditional. When she was alive the first time, her mother always had her in flowing white nightgowns with lots of frills and lace that were becoming of a Young Lady (yes, even when she had her period. Yes, it was super fucking stressful). So when she does actually remember to sleep now, there’s a high chance it might be in whatever she was wearing around the house (which tbf is usually a long dress made of cotton or jersey or something), or a camisole and some shorts that have paint or bleach stains on them, which would’ve mortified her late mother. For her, she’s fucking sleeping, who cares??? But then when she starts seeing you, though, she suddenly becomes a bit more Particular about what she wears to bed. She would suddenly feel the need to invest in some cute matching sets of soft material, likely in black or jewel tones. Or, if it’s an especially nice evening, just keeping a silk nightie or two around, yknow, to throw on. Just because. 👀

(She definitely also gets a long black dressing gown, and that’s probably the only thing she wears that you don’t end up taking off of her that has lace anywhere on it. And even then, it’s just on the sleeves. That’s all she’ll allow on her, anyway, but you wearing lace is an entirely different story. :3c)
