Blood and Snakes

Snakes: Would your muse ever keep an unusual/exotic pet?

Depends on the muse. Ben has a couple, Amanda wants an iguana, Ashley wants all the pets.

Blood: What’s the worst injury your muse has ever had?

I just fractured my elbow in three places two Saturdays ago.

Older Amanda’s got a gash across her side from a fight that was nearly fatal. Crystal has been through hell and back on several occasions and Ben had Pappy and bullies.

Fox smiled awkwardly. "The KND don't recruit teenagers. And....well I'm kinda afraid of space travel so no plumbers." She paused and looked at him sheepishly. "Though Providence was my first choice anyway. I've fought monsters like 10 times my size with just a sword and a blaster gun. Figure I should try and put that skill to good use. But I'd also want to work for someone who knows what they're doing. You seem to have everything under control without breaking a sweat."

“That’s a fair assessment of my tenure—”

Was he really going to fall for flattery? [ It had been a while since he was acknowledged for the work he did for Providence, but… ] “Look, kid. You really can’t be seen wearing Providence uniforms while not legally an adult.” He sighed and rubbed his temple. At least the other organizations couldn’t snap her up, but there was always the slim chance that the kid would change her mind.                                                                 [ Maybe that would be better for him. ]

“You can support Providence in other ways, like getting out of Providence’s way when my agents are taking care of a situation. Or donating… ”  Knight  paused, lofty gaze staring at the eager child in front of him. “The Dexlabs and Mandark Industries technology certainly is interesting. If Providence scientists can determine that they’re safe enough for people like you to use, then I’m sure a Providence internship program could be possible.”

It happened on 9/1

I fell backwards, tried to catch myself and when my palm hit the ground, my elbow buckled backwards and not only fractured the joint in 3 places, but also impacted the muscles and tendons connected to it.

By the next day it looked like this:

You can see the swelling. I couldn't get a cast because I have to work out the impact damage.

The 4th, at my follow up appointment it looked like this:

Doctor said I had the worst bruise he's ever seen for this type of break, but I'm healing faster than he's ever seen as well.

It stayed like that for five days before turning into this:

And then the next day

I no longer had any bruising by the next day.

I go in for more x-rays and stuff on the 26th.

"Do you do possible internships or anything," she asked eagerly.

“Aren’t the Kids Next Door taking applicants?” Or however they recruited children. “Why are you so dead set on becoming a Providence agent? Not that the zeal is bad.”

Just that  Knight  was paranoid, didn’t want any more spies in his organization, and most importantly, didn’t want a lawsuit filed against Providence when any underage agents inevitably got hurt.
