This may become a series of posts as i go through my bookmarks in the SCI 謎案集 books, but here’s the first one:

Episode 2, an air kiss

Compared with chapter 12, a French kiss

剛想反駁幾句，卻聽一邊的白玉堂突然問許教授，“教授，您說的‘有辱斯文’不知道具體指什麼？” Zhan Zhao is about to refute with some words of his own when he hears Bai Yutang's voice next to him asking Professor Xu, "Professor, when you said he's being a 'disgrace to the educated class' I wonder what you meant specifically?"

許教授一愣。 Professor Xu is taken aback.

白玉堂緊接著說，“不知道是不是指這樣呢？”說著，一把摟過一邊還在發楞的展昭，低頭吻了上去。 Bai Yutang follows his own question immediately. "I wonder if you meant this?" He gathers up the still dazed Zhan Zhao with one arm, and lowering his head, kisses him.

在女生們驚天動地的驚叫聲中，白玉堂一個標準的法式熱吻，成功地使許教授血壓升高，心臟病發作…… With the world-shaking screaming of schoolgirls in the background, Bai Yutang's standard french kiss successfully raises professor Xu's blood pressure to the point where his heart problems begin to act up...

January crawls, February runs, March has strapped a rocket to its tail

It has been 16 days

And I’m missing SCI so much I subbed a weilan tongyao crossover (current weilan fanvid count: 210)

FYI, SCI謎案集 IS BACK ON YOUKU. I have no idea what/if they cut. I did a quick scrolling check of the first couple of eps, and the “put a jacket on u” scene and “fight over the bed” scene they didn’t make it longer awwww and the “air kiss” scenes are still there.

Completely random thing

Zhao Yunlan (Guardian) and Zhan Yao (SCI) have the same English names. It’s “Stewart Mark”

or they employed the same graphic designer and they copied and pasted

Nothing, i mean NOTHING, needs a “conversation while we piss at the urinal” scene EVER

*finishes ep3 of Sci谜案集*

Either this show is getting good or it has lowered my standards, i’m actually not sure which

the murder cases feel like they come out of a phoenix wright game

and it’s starting to not matter that it may be a BAD thing

meanwhile at 27:12, Bai Yulong slaps a pair of handcuffs on Zhan Yao and they run off like they’re eloping while romantic music plays in the background, so that’s something i suppose

*finishes watching ep2 of SCI谜案集*

So Bai Yutong pushes his partner aside, runs over a car, does a flip, lands and immediately starts shooting, which is fine rule of cool and all that, and then

I get to find out Gao Hanyu does his own stunts?

and then they moved in together kind of (boss’s orders) and despite arguing like a couple of first graders for both episodes

they cram right next to each other at a round dining table and eat with their arms touching

god this show is ridic i love it

Zhan Yao and Bai Yutong’s handcuffs

You remember that scene, where Bai Yutong slaps a pair of handcuffs on Zhan Yao while romantic music plays, here’s a refresher

About five minutes later, after they get back upstairs squeezing through the door unnecessarily tightly for some reason

Two lines of dialogue go by real quick

Excuse me, WHAT 展耀：你別再拿這個扣我 Zhan Yao: Don’t you cuff me with that again. 白羽瞳：以前又不是沒拷過 Bai Yutong: It’s not like I haven’t cuffed you before.
