one of these days i’ll do a one-shot where Sakura And Obito Are Time Travelers but unfortunately logistically obito is pretty screwed in any scenerio where he decides not to be world endingly evil at a point zetsu can theoretically still give him direct orders if that’s how the heart seal works (and i assume it does, since madara put it there so obito would follow His direct orders and was also planning on dying soon) and he’s not exactly the type to take himself off the board entirely either when that would be equally dumb. and i don’t think sakura knows about the heart seal at the point her and obito are doing plot shit in endgame so it’s not like she can tell people (namely tsunade lmao) about the issue for him either, and if he could tell people about it he wouldn’t have goaded kakashi into ripping his heart out to deal with it lmao

also obito just kind of sucks in general and i don’t think sakura either wants to be or is capable of keeping the wheels on that guy
