it's a little difficult though when your parents won't even consider a school because it's over 20,000 a year for tuition or is more than one state away...

It's the canon rebel T4i... not the newest one, but better than previous models. plus, I got a 50mm lens (recommended by amelia) that is really good for portraits (:
