Tagged by @silver-wields-a-pen. Are you possibly trying to get me to spill some LCS spoiler stuff? I mean, If I actually have started on the new chap, I would have lmao. As it is, I’ll share other things k (t u btw)
Rules: post the last line of a project (or projects) that you’re working on!
1. That one vld fic that doesn’t really have a name yet but has like 11 chaps already finished. I’m gonna post it one day, I swear. I just don’t want to do it before I realise where exactly I want it to go.
"Eir is a medic, not a mechanic and we let her stay behind because she's shy and untrusting of what she doesn't know. I'm sure she'll warm up to you at some point after our alliance is formed but until then I don't want her to be – uncomfortable – just because you don't trust us." – Okay, so you have maybe just pulled half of it from your ass but it seems like it's doing its work because the other paladins look part embarrassed and part understanding. And when Keith makes a move to shot down your argument, Lance steps up and grabs his arm.
2. Allura x Reader anyone? It’s gonna be a one shot, but long
Turned out it was truly enormous and contained differently coloured sets of dresses, armours, jumpsuits and all sorts of shirts and trousers as well as skirts. You honestly felt there as if you've walked in a real life Barbie's wardrobe.
3. Also, yes, I’m working on next chap of HOWDY Y’ALL, it’s long before I finish it, but have a glimpse into what I have there at the end atm.
R2D2: NO WAY, I've read that part like fifty times and didn't see that goddamn gap
AIGHT I TAG: @the-andy-world, @theraginggardienne and @foruneyti ;P

Hello. Just wondering, how old is Healer in Foruneyti? I ask because Loki is supposed to be hundreds, if not over a thousand, years old, when we first meet him in the first Thor film. Also, is she for some reason less sturdy than other Asgardians? I ask because when she is standing on a third-story roof with Loki she is worried about falling and dying, but a fall from a third-story roof definitely would not bother Thor or Loki.
Hi there! A very valid question. Since Foruneyti is an Alternate Universe the characters aren’t really ‘gods’ or ‘immortals’ in this story. I had no need for super strength or thick skin that can barely be punctured - quite the opposite: I needed Loki to get hurt. If that hadn’t been possible, he and Healer wouldn’t have been able to meet in that way.
I also took away the ‘thousands of years old’ thing since it wouldn’t have had much of a spot in this particular fic. I will incorporate it into other fics that follow the MCU more closely, since it adds to the drama or the development of the plot, but with Foruneyti I took quite a lot of liberties to truly make it into an original story apart from the films.
I left the age ambiguous on purpose so every reader could put themselves in Healer’s place; but if you want to know, I suppose I personally imagine Loki to be around 26-28 and Healer around 23-25.
I hope this answers your questions! If not, feel free to send in another ask ♡

Could I just say that your character Kari is lovely and spunky and fun, and part of me wishes she had shown up in "In Her Loving Memory" as visiting queen regent of Yllgard, thrown some stern criticism about Odin's parenting/ruling skills at his face without missing a beat, and spirited Healer and Loki back to her kingdom because "If they do not appreciate you here then you might as well come live with me in my palace. Free picnics for everyone!" At times I wish she were my little sister.
Hahaha I absolutely love that idea, and I’m so glad you like her so much! Kari holds a special place in my heart as well ♡ The chances of her appearing in IHLM are very small but the fic isn’t completely over yet, so who knows ;3
Thank you for leaving such a lovely ask! ♡

Rereading foruneyti for the second time is such a blast BTW! Because i’m catching all the easter eggs and foreshadowing you did with Healers abilities and wow! i cant believe you thought that far ahead you’re truly a genius
Aww thank you so, so much! ♡ That makes me so incredibly happy (● ´o`●) Not only that you like the foreshadowing and easter eggs, but also the fact that you would read it a second time and still enjoy it! It’s more than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much for your sweet words!! They really made my day ❤

Hello! So, really random question, but I've always been curious: if Loki never had any lover because of his evil fame, how come he's so good at sex? Am I missing something or he's just a natural? Sorry for the strange question, I hope I didn't bother you. I hope the New Year has been good for you so far . Bye!
He might not be an experienced man, but he is certainly a curious and studious one! When he finds something that piques his interest he will sink his teeth into the subject and devour it until he knows all there is to know about it. Sex is no exception. He knows about every technique, every specific action that could cause a woman pleasure, what to pay attention to, and of course what not to do. He closely watches and listens to Healer to know what she likes more than other things. He is also a bit of a natural, though, whose instincts guide him just as much as his knowledge.
Looking back I wished I had written their first time together as more experimental however; more exploring, like their first time with him in his Jotun form - but alas. I will definitely include it in coming fics.
And no worries, I love each and every question I get about my work and I enjoy talking about it!! Asks like these are always a pleasant surprise and make my day ❤

Pt. I Greetings. This is all Foruneyti-centric but I hope it is helpful in general. —EA
Hithere! Thank you so much for sending me such a detailed report haha,it really helps me out! Because it was such a lot I will respond persection. I hope you don’t mind!
Pt.2 Somethings that I like in your writing: >Your dialogue. It iswonderful and truly witty at times, and it flows so naturally. It isa joy to read. I wish I could converse in real life the way Healerdoes in the story. So many writers resort to blatant awkwardness inconversation to move a relationship or friendship along; instead, youmake your characters clever and intelligent enough to get out ofunusual places in conversation. I appreciate that so, so much.I’m really glad that this is the case! I love writingdialogue and I’ve come a long way since I started writing (whenever Iread my older stories the dialogue is something that stands out to menegatively) so hearing from other people that it is witty and flowsnaturally is absolutely wonderful; thank you. Pt.3 >Your descriptions: in general, your descriptions are a goodbalance between “telling” and “showing”, which like yourdialogue make the story flow quite well. >Your originalcharacters. They are actually characters, unpredictable in some ways, not merely mouthpieces for ideas or story exposition (Kari of Yllgardis a great example here). Meeting them and getting to know thembetter feels worthwhile, rather than distracting. It’sa relief that those things are also going well! I really aim to givemy characters more layers so that they won’t be one-dimensional andboring, but with so many characters in the casts it’s hard to keep itbalanced and sometimes I even forget one or two exist hihi. Pt.4 >Perhaps first and foremost, I love that Healer is her ownperson, with useful skills and the ability to be simultaneouslycompassionate and an independent thinker. She does not brook abuse(of anoyone else or of herself) mildly; she is morally centred andstands up for her moral beliefs (I would like to add here that(Pt. 5) I think it would be appropriate for the deaths Loki hascaused to trouble her more than it does; I understand her reasons forforgiving Loki himself, but to some extent I would expect Healer’snatural compassion to extend to the many, many families Loki hasdestroyed). Though she is lonely at times, she is not just a hollowshell waiting for some other person to fill her with emotions andexperiences. This is also a big part of what I wanted! ThatHealer would be a character of her own, with feelings and thoughtsand memories of her own, and that without Loki she would still grow –though their growth is definitely amplified by one another. I wantedher to be independent so that their love and relationship could growand blossom healthily. As for the deaths Loki caused, it’s truethat I am kind of letting it fade to the background. I wanted tofocus more on the person Loki was becoming than the person he hadbeen, and since I believe he was not fully in control or didn’t havemuch of a choice during most of what happened back then I didn’t wantto make too big of a deal of it. Now that Healer has to grieve forher own she wouldn’t have the energy to grieve for the many livesthat were lost years and years ago.
Pt6 or 7? Somethings that I do not like in your writing (save the firstcomment, I am trying to be usefully critical here):>The sex. I amnot here for that; honestly I just think it is gross. It is nothingagainst your writing particularly; I just do not enjoy that sort ofthing in stories, ever. When I found Foruneyti, I was looking for aninteresting story that explored a Loki redemption arc in a believableway; many kudos to you for drawing me in despite the sex.Itotally understand! I personally enjoy sex as well as writing aboutit and so for me it is part of a healthy relationship, which is why Iadded it to the fic. You can expect more to come. I’m glad that youstill enjoyed the rest of the chapters though! Sometimesyou do strange things with grammar tenses. For instance, the lastsentence of the fifth chapter of the most recent instalment of “InHer Loving Memory” goes, “The man rose his sword, and sheclosed her eyes.”I am fairly confident that “rose” is anintransitive verb, and “raised” is what you should use whensomething is actually being done with a specific object. Pleaseunderstand that this little nitpicky sort of thing is an indirectcompliment; the rest of your writing (dialogue, descriptions, etc.)is so well-balanced that it is little things like this that throw meoff. Ah!I’m incredibly sorry for that. I can’t really use the excuse of notbeing a native English speaker anymore, but sometimes things likethat still slip. Things like raise and rise, lay and lie; but alsothings that even I think are super silly. I often type reigns insteadof reins, or mix up expressions. I check chapters three to sixtimes before uploading them and I still stuff like that when Ire-read it later. Feel free to point it all out on a chapter when yousee it, so I can immediately change it. Pt7 or 8? >Very occasionally you claim that something clever happensand then you drop the ball. The scene in chapter 14 is a goodexample. The passage goes:“…Should you try to introduce him tothe conversation? Ask him if he had ever experienced such battles? You listened intently to what they had to say, but every question youasked steered the conversation(Pt8 or 9?) in the direction you wanted to go. It was masterfullyexecuted manipulation, and neither of them noticed, until theopportunity came for which you had been waiting and you turned yourheard to the side, glancing at the prince from the corner of youreye. “How about you, then? Surely you must have great tales totell.” …That is abrupt and jarring, not masterfully manipulative.I think this is a more serious mistake where you should have changedthe scene so that it was appropriate(Pt9 or 10?) for the Healer to be so abrupt, or else thought through thescene more thoroughly to give Healer something truly clever to say.Another example would be when Healer tricks Yllva into confessing tothe murder. That seemed unrealistically stupid, even for a spoiledprincess of evil.Ihope you don’t mind that I will defend myself on this one. The lines’Youlistened intently to what they had to say, but every question youasked steered the conversation in the direction you wanted to go. Itwas masterfully executed manipulation, and neither of them noticed, untilthe opportunity came for which you had been waiting (…).” Aremeant to convey that time passed, that she has been conversing forquite some time, asking more and more questions that subtly got herto the point she wanted: a break or pause in the conversation thatallowed her to drag Loki into it. In that break or pause it wasappropriate to ask Loki about his tales without making it seem likeshe didn’t care about the other soldier’s stories. If I had to writeout all the stories the soldiers told, and all the questions Healerasked, it would have made the chapter far too long and far too slow.As for the part where she tricks Ylva, keep in mind that thegirl is not the smartest. She tried to murder Healer with poison sostrong it would no doubt cost quite a lot of money. That way it wouldbe traced back to her sooner or later, and with a devastated andenraged Loki (as well as Thor and all the other soldiers in thegroup) in that scenario she wouldn’t have benefited from it at all –and the consequences would have been dire. When she noticesHealer doesn’t die she gets more reckless and directly poisons herfood. She could have done it herself, in which case people (mainlyservants) would have seen her going to the kitchens where shedefinitely never comes, or, more likely: she had a servant do it forher. That means at least one servant knows its her, and so when thestaff would get questioned by the at that point merciless Loki itwould come out sooner or later as well. Either way: dumb. So,now that we’ve established that Ylva is not very bright, she is inthat moment set on defending herself however possible. When she heardHealer semi-accuse her of something she hadn’t done she had to denyit to try and save her hide – and she hadn’t really thought aboutthe words with which she chose to do so. In her panic she blurted outthe first that came to mind and so fell right into the trap. Ofcourse, it’s fanfiction, and so I’ve taken a few liberties on howrealistic things are, but in my opinion it makes for a far moreinteresting story than when the investigation starts and it takesthem two more chapters to just confirm what we already know: the girlhad truly tried to murder Healer. Ona final note, not concerning anything critical: I would just like toadd that as an addition to the Foruneyti universe “In Her LovingMemory” works incredibly well. What an emotionally powerfultale. (Lastpart) I read the scenes at the tree (Healer’s and Loki’s) and wasstruck by the aching sadness in both. I look forward to seeing whereyou go with that tale. May your writing (for Foruneyti and elsewhere)proceed excellently. Sincerely, EA
Thankyou so much! I really hoped it would, and emotionally powerful was(and is still) the goal. For it to affect your feelings is all Icould have wished for.
Again, thank you for leaving such extensive feedback. If you want to discuss anything I’ve said in this post just send in another ask, I really love talking about my work. For anyone elsereading this post: do you agree, disagree, or do you have somethingto add? Feel free to respond to this post or to send me an ask ofyour own! (anonymous if you want). The more opinions I get the easierit will be for me to see what things I will need to focus on more! ❤

How did Odin and Frigga get to know each other in this fanfic? How was their relationship? I really want everyone to reach the castle to know how your Odin will be, most of the fanfic representations are him being a monster ( and I agree) but I kind of miss him being a worried father at the end. Like, if he was so bad, he would have killed Loki after the New York attack and he did not. Even if he says Frigga convinced him I still believe he loves Loki. Thanks in advance!
That’s a pretty difficult question to answer! Sadly I’m not going to expand too much on Odin and Frigga’s relationship in Fǫruneyti nor on how they met; it would be too much of a detour and I wouldn’t know where to put the information - or where to even start. I’ve never really thought about how their relationship developed in the first place. I’m sorry, but I won’t write too deeply about their past and present relationship!

I read the entirety of foruneyti in two days and I'm so inspired?? I love the general forest dragon aesthetic and the fluffy moments and just everything about it I love them so much thank u for writing and sharing !! I'm so intimated to begin writing my own loki/reader long fic because I've never done it and gain no traction but u inspired me I can't thank you enough sjshdhkak ily
Thank you so much sweet Anon! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed it all so thoroughly and that I inspired you to write as well! That’s absolutely wonderful ❤ And yes, starting a long fic seems scary, and it is, but it’s so much fun once you start! I do have some tips though: keep a timeline in a different document and write what happens in every chapter as well as any other important things such as how many days have passed, what important objects each character has, etc. I wrote a post on it here! The document contains some insights in how I keep my writing organised. I hope it helps you along!! ♡

If Healer and Loki were to have kids, would they be born in like human form or dragon form? Also would Healer be able to change into a dragon?
Thank you so much for the wonderful questions! Who knows how the child(ren) would be born? Asgardian? Dragon? A mix? Perhaps even with Jotun traits from their half-Jotun father... Good thing they exist in a world where magic exists; if the baby/babies would have some non-Asgardian aspects the birth might just be a little more complicated. As for the turning into dragon form - I suppose it would be possible! She does have a womb as a dragon too, and as the child(ren) would have some dragon genes they might just be able to survive the environment, but who knows what complications could arise. Would Healer even dare to risk it?

Quirks/hobbies for both healer and Loki? Thanks!
HealerQuirks: -When reading or deeply lost in thought she will become oblivious to the world and it would take at least three times calling her name in an increasingly louder volume before she finally snaps out of it; or tapping her on the shoulder will have the same effect. -Doodles plants and flowers and silly creatures when bored or not quite listening.-Occasionally has the common struggles of walking into a room, forgetting what she was going to do, walking back, remembering, and forgetting again the moment she re-enters the room. -Greets cute animals in a slightly higher pitched voice, sometimes isn’t even aware of the fact that she does this.-Sometimes unconsciously start humming tunes that are stuck in her head or don’t exist at all when she is working.Hobbies:-Hiking through the woods, either for work or for fun-Singing/humming-Reading-Doodling/drawing-Daydreaming-Telling stories/listening to stories- Flying in dragon form-(previously) Swimming in the lake-(previously) Training with Audun -(recently) listening to Loki read to her-(recently) reading to Loki-(recently) dancing-(recently) studying magic with LokiLokiQuirks: -When at the dinner table with his family his mind will wander to all kinds of different topics and go into such detail it ends up being rather exhausting - but not as exhausting as listening to Odin, that’s for sure. Okay, this might be more of a conscious decision than a quirk. -Picks at his hand (like his mother) when upset, nervous, or anxious. -When walking anywhere he hasn’t been before he scans the faces of the people around him and the shadows almost automatically, his muscles a bit tense and ready to jump into action even though he doesn’t realise he does this. -When having a nightmare frequently kicks off the blankets. Hobbies:-Studying & practicing his magic-Reading-Playing innocent little pranks on someone every now and then, just being a little mischievous-Telling stories/listening to stories-Riding horseback-Listening in on the maids and servants to stay updated on the gossip that’s going around the palace-Walking through the palace gardens-(recently) teasing Healer-(recently) reading to Healer-(recently) listening to Healer read to him-(recently) dancing-(recently) teaching Healer magic

Just wondering -- what do Dagny and Brant look like to you? Also i ❤❤❤❤❤ Foruneyti, you write so amazingly well and your art is just as wonderful!!
Thank you so much!! ;o; I’m so happy to hear you not only like my writing but my art as well ♡ I hope you’ll love the coming chapters just as much  (●´ω`●) I have described Brant in this post and I have drawn concepts of him here and here ♡ His sister, when in good health, has quite similar looks; but when Healer first meets her she is very ill and this is what is mentioned: ‘Now that you were closer to her you could see how much of her features were similar to those of her brother: the same goldenbrown eyes, the same dark, curly hair, and the same shape of nose – yet she was not as fair. Her cheeks were hollow from malnutrition, her skin had lost its glow a long time ago, and the empty look in her glazed-over eyes showed that it had been a while since she had last allowed herself to smile.’After being healed those negative aspects slowly fade, however, and she starts to look more and more like her healthy brother! Thank you for this lovely ask ❤❤❤

Does Loki have amaizing ice powers too? What other kind of magic can he use? How can he create fire being an ice gigant? Does he have a favourite kind of magic?
Woah haha, it would take me a while to explain it all - I’ve thought of a whole magic system for this fic after all. I’ll try not to dive too deep into specifics, though! A simple summary would be: some people are born with the gift of magic; sometimes called the Gifted, magic users, or, more negatively, witches. These people have a direct bond or ‘tether’ to Yggdrasil, the source of (almost) all magic, and can use the energy gifted to them in the ways they want and are able to. The amount of Gifted people is not race-specific and is rather rare on its own.
Most Gifted have a natural talent for a specific type of magic, such as Healer and her healing magic, but as shown in the fic she is able to learn different types of magic as well.
Loki has a talent for illusion magic and teleportation magic, but because of his eager studying he has mastered other types as well such as fire magic, a little bit of healing magic, and a bit of shapeshifting - though this last one is combined with illusion magic since shapeshifting takes a heavy toll on the magical energy. He hasn’t developed his natural talent for ice/frost magic however as he wanted nothing to do with his origins and he didn’t need the abilities to serve his agenda so far. Instead he has focused on ancient languages and ancient/divergent forms of magic such as spellcasting and inscriptive/symbol/rune magic; yet since those are far riskier he only uses this knowledge as a last resort - not to mention that it takes more time to actually cast these types of magic and is simply not as practical. His favourite kinds of magic are teleportation, since it is convenient in almost every situation, and illusion magic, since that’s just a lot of fun and appeals to his mischievous nature. I hope this answers your question!

♡ for loki :3
Based on this post (x) ♡ - Romantic headcanonLoki is secretly a hopeless romantic, even though he might not immediately admit it. This part of his personality was simply suppressed because of his shitty youth and his self-doubts and fears that he might never be loved the way he craved to be loved, but it was still there - dormant, waiting for someone to bring it back up to the surface. I mean, what is more romantic than watching the stars and galaxies from the rooftop of an inn? Or stepping in to teach Healer how to dance? Or letting her wear his helmet and getting caught in the rain? A picknick beneath a willow? Holding her tight while riding horseback? He is a sucker for sweet moments like that, and he will greedily take anything he can get as he has been completely and utterly starved for it.

So I just read the whole thing, in a day and whoah woah it was great. I have cried, I have blushed like crazy and I have completely fallen in love with the healer. I loved everything about the story, the characterization, the pace, the dragons... I really really loved it and I can't thank you enough for creating such a great fanfic. I can't wait to read book III and fall in love all over again. This is great, thanks for creating something like this. When will part III be posted?
Thank you so incredibly much! It’s always a relief to hear that not only the characterisation was good but that the pace wasn’t too fast or too slow either! Those are things I always worry about. I’m really happy to hear you enjoyed it so much  ( ´ω` )    Sadly I can’t yet say when the next chapter will be posted as it still needs to be written and I have to finish my commissions first, but I hope that it won’t take longer than a month! Thank you for your patience, I hope it will be worth the wait!! ♡
