I have an unfinished Fortnite Infection AU lol

Fun fact: this was meant to be a one off silly April Fools joke like SPOOKY FORTNITE AU BOO!!! then I got too interested in it so. Here we are now.

I'm just gonna leave more rambling stuff here now.

By the way... calling these guys corpses isn't exactly right. It was just the best way to word that. It's more just like the husk of a person. They still think and breathe and stuff but they are incapable of controlling their bodies or thinking for themselves as the Chrome attacks the brain causing severe damage. This allows the Chrome to easily influence whoever it infects into attacking as it allows for the Amygdala to stay intact and the parts of the brain that allow pain to be felt so they are just so scared and in pain that they attack anything around them.

Unless it's another Chormed of course. They can prevent Chromed from attacking each other by making them feel safe close to each other. Another helpful thing as they will work in packs.

This also leads to Chromed who become combined. Like they genuinely just melt into each other. Like The Seven did (working on redesigning them rn).

Now that also begs the question "Why not just keep them normal? Won't that be better? They have better movement and stuff. The Last Reality is capable of making people evil."

Well, the Chromed are meant to be a message from The Last Reality that this is what they are capable of. So it's just really meant to be like OH here's the mutilated corpse of your friend walking around as nothing more than a shell of themselves. We will get you.

So yeah.
