Tbh it was never on my mind previously, like if you told me to name a place in Uganda I probably would’ve forgotten it. But you know when you see something familiar and it like unlocks memories? It was like that. Might not even be the same place I’m remembering but it was close enough for me to remember
This is me with literally every single place I've been too but specifically hong kong. I have no clue where any of the places are called but if I see a name similar to a shop we went to it's like "oh yeah wtf I WAS there this wasn't me just bullshiting in my head"
In terms of places in Uganda I think they're also pretty distinct? I don't think many names of places in none east african countries have the same flow of letters that ours does? Except I guess like Fort Portal or something I could be very wrong pff
#not shy ask me (itzy)#anon#i'm like the least ugandan ugandan you'll ever meet#partially by choice though pff

Creating Economically Viable Communities through Sustainable Tourism & CBT
Sustainable Tourism refers to sustainable practices in and by the tourism industry. It is an aspiration to acknowledge all impacts of tourism, both positive and negative. It aims to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the positive ones as defined by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
The UNWTO looks at sustainable tourism as tourism that takes into full account of its current and future socio-economic and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities"
At ATW Holidays Africa and Avens Travel World, we go on and look at it as tourism which embraces the needs and concerns of the host communities and the environment. We’re a company that has incorporated sustainable practices in our operations with our main focus centered on uplifting the livelihood of host communities through tourism.
We have partnered with various NGO’s around Uganda to get back to communities through outreach programs, we organize tours that encourage our guests to visit and experience the lifestyle and cultures of local communities, we empower NGO’s and charity homes through encouraging visits to them in our safaris for charity packages
One of our visits to Thuyilweko Women Organization in Kasese: The organization looks after and skills young mothers, vulnerable girls and women
We have partnered with a local Organization called Yange Africa, to promote socio-economically viable communities through Community Based Tourism (CBT). One of our current projects include Mukuuba, a landing site located on the shores of Lake Victoria, in Entebbe municipality. Here visitors can experience the local lifestyle and our intention in the site is to expose it to the outside world and tourism which can be a new source of income since there main source which was fishing was cutoff by the new government policies which restrict fishing on the lake. Here visitors can take part in activities like nature walks, sightseeing, village walks, board games among others and residents can be able to gain revenue through guiding and interpretation services.
At the site we realized the problem of environmental degradation due to poor disposal of wastes in the lake and wetland, we therefore intend to use tourism to advocate for environmental protection and conservation at the site.
Among our other initiatives in promoting Community Tourism in Fort Portal region in western Uganda, where visitors visit local residents and partake in local experiences like culinary tryouts, traditional beer and gin making, pineapple and banana beer testing, traditional coffee making among other experiences.
Tourists in Fort Portal doing a community tour to experience local lifestyle and activities.
The purpose of ATW Holidays and Avens Travel World in promoting such kid of experiences is to create economically sustainable and viable communities around Uganda through using what they have i.e. traditions, values and other cultural practices that tourists like to witness and immerse in.
To enjoy some of these experiences, please visit our website or hit our email for customized packages.

Exporter of Plastic Scrap Friction Washer Machine in Uganda
R Mech Machines LLP is a Manufacturer, Supplier, and Exporter of Plastic Scrap Friction Washer Machine in Uganda. R Mech Machines LLP Specializing in Plastic Scrap Turbo Washing Machines, Plastic Scrap Grinder Machines, Plastic Scrap Shredder Machines, Blade Sharpening Machines, Screw Press Squeezer Machines, Friction Washer Machines, and more. These machines are essential for discharging treated material, often mixed with water, from wet mills. They're versatile too, finding application before or after washing tanks and hydrocyclone units in special cases. Operating ingeniously and simply, these Plastic Scrap Friction Washer Machine drive plastic flakes, film, and recyclables to rub against each other at high speeds. Inside the rectangular housing, a circular mesh screen surrounds a rapidly rotating shaft. As plastic enters the cavity, it constantly rotates on the screen, generating significant pressure and friction. This effectively loosens contaminants like dirt, paper, cardboard, and other debris, which then pass through the mesh screen. Water conservation is achieved by using water jets and nozzles instead of submerging the chamber; the machine is inclined steeply. This setup extends the plastic's duration inside the washer, ensuring cleaner discharge from the top as a result. R Mech Machines LLP is an Exporter of Plastic Scrap Friction Washer Machine in Uganda and various locations like Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja, Mbale, Mbarara, Gulu, Lira, Masaka, Mukono, Kasese, Hoima, Arua, Fort Portal, Soroti, Kabale, Iganga, Mityana, Kitgum, Moroto, Busia, Pallisa, Masindi, Tororo, Lugazi, Buikwe.
