Hugo’s here! 🥳🥳🥳 I’m probably going to mess with his facial proportions and hair more, but I’m satisfied with his design!… for now 😅

Once I’ve finished the main quartet (and possibly Ulla and Donella), I’ll make a finished illustration (based off these designs) with everyone together. I want to make sure they look good together as a group!

Edit: After messing around, I’ve made some (albeit subtle) changes to his facial proportions and hair in a way that I’m satisfied with! So, yea! This 2nd version of Hugo will be the one I’ll use in future drawings of him.

Out of all the characters in vat7k, Nuru had the most gorgeous design (in my opinion). Paired with the personality that @teenscientist headcanons for her, I have the biggest crush on her 😍😍😍 SHE’S SO PRETTYYYYYYYYY

Imagine making a design for a character that isn’t even real ;-;

Anyways, this is a design I made for Yong! I’m very happy with how this turned out, cuz he looks adorable 🥺 (if anything happened to him, I will kill everyone in this room and then myself).

P.S, I was trying to incorporate traditional Chinese fashion into Yong’s design, as well as give him a given name. That being said, I’m not Chinese so I’m unsure if it’s entirely accurate. I tried my best to depict it all accurately, but please tell me if there is something that should be changed/improved.

Varian’s here! And with that, the main quartet is complete 🥳

Like with Nuru, I haven’t changed his design that much from the original one. I loved Nuru and Varian’s original designs, so I didn’t feel the need to alter them as much. But this was still helpful to translate Varian into my art style!

I’ll try to find time to turn their designs into a clean and finished illustration (… maybe). After that, I’ll make one illustration of the main gang together! I’ve also had an idea for a project that features the 7 kingdoms themselves… no promises, but I do want to pursue it!
