my city elects a "captain" every year who's like a well known local that contributes to the community and they hold a ball as a fundraiser and do some public events etc. this year a beloved book store cat was nominated and the city banded together in a way I've never seen in my 24 years living here to make sure that he absolutely fucking destroyed the competition and became this years captain

something that never fails to amaze me is how someone will know that you are in pain and/or have very limited mobility and will still walk quickly ahead of you without noticing that you are struggling to keep up. why am I rushing after my physical therapist
#once a friend asked if i wanted to do snth and i told them i could but i was in a lot of pain and could barely walk#and they still walked fast af to the point that i was like walking 10 feet behind them while they kept talking as if i was next to them#how difficult is it to match someone elses pace? i dont understand this. when im walking w someone who's slower than me i just slow down#how is this a hard concept?#and yet every fuckin day of my life im gritting my teeth and pushing past the pain to catch up w mfs who cant be bothered to consider me#formerly ori/ons/belts

just like blacked out and fell down in the bathroom so hard that I can barely walk. parkour
#not really sure what happened#i have a twice daily flovent inhaler which is like a medication inhaler#and sometimes when im holding my breath after breathing it in i get rlly dizzy and start shaking uncontrollably#for like a couple of minutes sometimes too. idk what it is#but today that happened and then i remember like. seeing the cabinets as i hit the ground#and then they pain hit and i started screaming which i was very vaguely aware of but idk i was really disoriented#and my partner ran in and was obviously very freaked out. i finally fully came to and realized i must've fallen#my toothbrush and toothpaste were on the ground bc i was just abt to brush the flovent out of my mouth#i scraped the fuck out of my knees and arm. my toes mustve bent way too far bc i can barely move them. must've landed hard on my knees too#one of my wrists and my neck are also fucked up. not really sure what happened there#very freaked out tho! my partner too! not rlly sure how im gonna explain the pain to my pt tomorrow...... hope im able to walk better#formerly ori/ons/belts

hey do any of you who use canes know what I'm doing wrong that is causing me really bad pain in the like. heel of my palm when I use my cane heavily
#am i just leaning too hard on it or am i holdings it wrong#its one of those T handles where one side is a little shorter than the other#ive been putting my hand on like the side instead of the top to compensate but it feels less sturdy#so i end up using my other hand looking like fucking house with my cane on the wrong side#formerly ori/ons/belts
