And just like that its over. This semester I exegeted Amos 9:7 “are you not like the Ethiopians to me” toward an approximation of Black communalism in Israel. I explored the intersections of Protestantism and the Ku Klux Klan as determinants in American Democracy at the site of my home church. I discussed the nature of denominationalism within the early history of Howard University and the ways it translates black identity. And to top it off I wrote a paper exploring the cultural production of evil and the social witness of Auntie Maxine against the Cheeto President. At this point I'm both exhausted and inspired.
