my thoughts: this is the second time that i have found myself reading a monster fic (referring to length) like this one and I NEVER REGRET IT. chankai has wormed its way into my heart because of exo's showtime. that's why i decided to read this. it took me about two-and-a-half days to finish this and i want to first express my admiration towards the author. i saw in the reveals post that curledupkitten had written not just this one, but THREE fics for this exchange! that in itself requires much applause and recognition. now for this fic in particular, i pictured everything and it all played out in my head like a movie. i favor long fics (20K+) for this reason: the author takes the time to detail their descriptions, develop the plot and the characters, and the end product is such quality that it makes all their readers cry and compels them to write long ass fic recs like this one. i related to jongin's character a lot, being stuck in the in-between of relationships and unable to sort out feelings because we're human and we got a hell of a lot more going on in life than we'd like. every aspect in this fic was key and comes full circle.

[#TBT] k-pop olymfics: kaisoo fics

TBT aka Throwback Thursday is bringing back the good ol’ classics from 2012, 2013 and 2014 that we think weren’t appreciated enough in the time </3 We’ll be recommending kaisoo fics from the earliest fests such as sncj, forjongin, sooheaven (and many more). And this TBT will be about fics from olymfics! 

K-pop olymfics is the first team-based fic competition in which a group of writers is given specific categories of AUs to write. The teams compete with each other (and the team with the best fic wins). The event is still active, although now covers other k-pop bands thus has little focus on exo. Below are the only two kaisoo fics from 2013 and 2015 written for olymfics.
